A/N: Sorry it took me a bit to post this chapter. I'm just telling you now that I am using some ideas from "The Doll House" and "Silent Christmas" from Ghost Hunt in this chapter. So I am just telling you so no one gets mad. I will refer to the idea from "Silent Christmas" More then just this chapter. Sorry about how slow the story is moving and for the short chapter. I hope you like this chapter, all in Naru's point of view. Sorry I updated this chapter. Messed up a few things and had to change them.

-Naru's P.O.V.-

Naru sat up. He felt off, his head spinning and his heart racing. He hated those dreams, where your worse fear comes alive in a dream. He breathed out. "I'm sorry Mai. I didn't mean to... I-I didn't mean to." He rubbed his head and rested back on his pillow. Sweat covered his head, but got back up and crawled off the bed. He pulled on a robe and his slippers and slip out of his room. Noises cracked around him, but he had heard them all night and had already deciphered them as wind blowing on an old house. He reached the end of the hall where Lin's room sat. "Hey Lin, I have a head ace. Do you have the medicine that my father gave you?" Naru walked in and looked at Lin's bed, still neatly made and non of his stuff had been moved other then to look for clean cloths after his shower. "Still working, not to surprised. Father chose him because he was dedicated. Like me." Naru smiled and turned down the hall entering the large white room that been provided for them to use as a base room for the investigation. "Hey Lin."

"Naru?" Lin questioned. "You all right?"

"Yeah, I just got a head ace. I was wondering if you had that medicine?"

"Is it that bad? Are you sure you don't want to have a doctor take a look?" Lin said not even turning away from his computer.

"Lin you've been trained in the medical field. If I need anyone to look me over, you can. Now where is it?"

Lin pulled out a box that had been placed under the table he was working on. He opened a bag of pill bottles that Naru was use to seeing. He gritted his teeth and grabbed the bottle of red pills out of Lin's hand. "Water?" Naru asked. Lin pulled out a water battle that was next to the pill bag. "Thanks... what are... you working... on...?" Naru said as he finished down his last pills.

Naru looked down at the screen Lin was watching so intensely. I was the room they had set the experiment up in. Lin stood up quickly, rushing out of the room with Naru on his hills. They slowed as they reached the meeting room they had used. Naru was shocked still by what he saw. Everything in the room was upside down, even the coffee table which they had placed the vase on for the experiment was upside down balancing on the vase. They had seen this before on a case they had called the Doll House, well Mai and Monk had picked out the name. At the beginning of the case there had two rooms that had similar things happen. One was like this one, everything had been flipped upside down, even the pictures had been turned towards the walls. Naru looked down at the floor and nearly gasped, but chocked it back.

"Lin," Naru said ", Look at the carpet."

"Oh, Wow!" Lin exclaimed. The carpet, which had been nailed to the ground, was upside down as well.

"When did this happen?" Naru questioned, not turning to look at Lin.

"Acutely it looked like something had happened before, but... I didn't check."

"Lets go. I want to see how this happened and what happened before." Naru turned down the hall and quickly made it to Base. "Mai?" Naru stared into the room at the couch where Mai was asleep on a couch opposite of the table Lin had been working on. How had I missed her?

"Yeah, she was sitting in the hall, crying. She said she had a nightmare." Lin walked up behind Naru.

"Did she tell you if-"

"Yea," Lin interrupted. "She said it might, but not to sure. She said she had seen some... weird things."

"Did she tell you her dream?" Naru asked.

"Yeah, but she didn't what me to say anything."

"Alright, we'll see if she'll tell me when she wakes up. Have you called Miss. Hara and John yet?"

"John said he would get here soon he just had to finish up some work that was taking a lot longer then he had hoped. Masako... well she said they'd be here soon, she said your fathers sending...'the package' along with them."

"Them? Oh yes, I nearly forgot!" Naru said. "So their are sending 'it' early. Why am I not surprised. I guess it's just what my parents would do." Naru glared at the ground. "Lin... Thank you for sticking with me though this and the new case. I can see how you could be the perfect friend!"

"Naru, sorry to mess up the moment and all, but that's kinda creepy."

"Yeah, I really shouldn't try this nice stuff." Naru smiled. "Get me when Mai wakes up, I'll be in my room." Naru turned to go keeping his mind set on the case when...

"AHHHHHHHHH..." Mai screamed, sitting up with enough force to almost through her off the couch. She breathed in sharply, trying to catch her breath.

"Mai," Naru said. "Are you okay?"

Mai looked up, her eyes full of tears that were escaping down her face. She tried to hide her fear, but when she saw Lin she nearly screamed again. "Oh, Lin yo-you looked like some there for a minute."

"Who?" Naru questioned, looking a Lin then at Mai

"My... my father."
