Don't touch him. Don't breathe on him. Don't do a thing. That's the number one rule to a butler when it comes to your master. Allen Walker respected each and every single one of these rules and made sure that he didn't do a thing wrong. So, why was he always punished? The question lingered in his mind for a few days after working, but then he just shrugged it off and continued listening to the large, burly man who was known as 'Master' to him. Allen sighed and rolled down his sleeve, covering the yellow bruise that he had recently received a few months ago.

How did it come to this? He wondered. Allen can't remember a thing before a couple weeks ago except for his name, His master picked him up the streets and forced him into becoming a butler. But why? Why can't he remember anything else?

And then the…group of people who seem to know him just walked in. Do they actually know him?

Allen sighed once more and licked his lips as he straightened out his coat before leaving his small room and went down the stairs to prepare a breakfast for his guests. Hopefully Master wouldn't be too mad about having company .The breakfast was simple; everyone walked in with a plate of eggs and sausage, which they happily ate with no complaint. Well, except Kanda. But he doesn't count. He always complains.

Wait.

Wait.

How would he know that? Allen stared at the little group who seemed to talk quietly, as if they were planning something. He shook it off and gave a wide grin as he went over to Lenalee's cup and poured some more water for her. She thanked him. She was such a nice girl. He always wondered how she and her brother were related-

She has a brother? How did he…?

And then there's Lavi. The smart goofball who likes to call his grandfather 'Panda'.

And last, but always the least: Cross. Cross was just the type of man who love cigarettes, women, alcohol, and money. Yet, he wasn't all that bad of a guy. Or was he? Allen shouldn't be able to know. His arm throbbed – the left arm. It had this aching feeling and his face began to drip with sweat. Why was it suddenly hurting? Carefully, he set down the pitcher full of water and muttered, "Excuse me." He left the room and ran into the bathroom, holding his arm and swearing under his breath.

"Why are you…?" He rolled up his sleeve and stared at his black arm, wondering why it was acting up. This only happened once. And it was the day his master found him. He ground his teeth together and waited a few minutes. The pain finally passed and he was okay. He exited the bathroom.

"Was it number one or number two?" Asked Lavi, making Allen choke on his own saliva.

He stared at the red-head, "I beg your pardon?"

"You heard me."

Allen shook his head and leaned against the wall, "Neither, actually. I was just…"

"Checking yourself out?" Lavi smirked.

"…Yeah. Sure," The Brit scoffed before regaining his smile. "Would anyone like seconds?"

Allen laughed lightly when everyone raised their plates. Kanda didn't raise his high though; he was filled with too much pride for that. Cheeky Japanese bastard. Allen collected the plates, refilling them with a different type of food and setting them back in front of the group, having them to dig in once more. They must have been starving; no one liked spotted dick.

The rest of the day was normal for Allen. He made the beds, washed the dishes, washed the floor and clothes, picked up after Lavi; basically, he did everything a normal butler would do. He cleaned. He didn't care though, it was his duty…

Allen snorted in laughter, considering how he was cleaning the bathroom at the moment. "Duty". Okay, maybe it wasn't that funny, but Allen needed something to lighten up his day. He didn't really enjoy cleaning, but…as long as he got to eat and sleep on a mattress, he couldn't really complain. He finished the bathroom within fifteen minutes and as he stood up to leave, he was pushed back when the door suddenly opened.

"Oh!" Said the voice of a man in surprise. It was Cross. "Allen. 'Didn't see you there."

Allen merely shook his head with a soft smile, "Its fine. I was just finishing up. Sorry," He gathered his things and moved out the way to let Cross enter, however a hand laid upon his shoulder and stopped him from leaving. He looked up, staring at the man for a moment, "Oh? Yes, Sir? Do you need something?"

Cross frowned a bit and just leaned in closer, staring Allen in the eyes, "Can you seriously not remember? Or…are you just a coward and trying to get out of your work?"

Allen blinked, confused and gave a little tug to pull away, "I'm sorry, Sir. I don't understand… What do you mean by that?" His stomach did flips, and out of instinct, Allen feared for the worst. So he tried pulling away just a little bit until Cross finally released him. "Mr. Cross?" Ew. Saying "Mister" in front of Cross sounded so…weird. Why?

"Nothing, Allen. Forget it. Go back to your duties."

The man practically pushed Allen out and slammed the door shut. Bewildered, the English teen just stared at the door, trying to rethink of what just happened. After a moment or so, he finally walked away, humming London Bridge as he moved to the sitting area, the same place where Lenalee, Kanda, and Lavi were at. He took a seat next to Lenalee, flashing a soft smile to her when she said hi. He was just taking a break. Cleaning can be quite the sport, if you think about it.

He laughed a bit as Lavi told jokes and smiled at Lenalee's stories. He got mad at Kanda's nicknames and soon a fight broke out. The three exorcists realized that Allen was still the same person, just without memories. But, he was still the same white-haired, 15-year-old that loved to eat and make friends. It was an hour of laughter and fighting; Cross came in within sometime and just watched the teenagers, smiling just a teensy-weensy bit. And then the happiness went away –

The front door of the house slammed opened and a tall man walked through, a top hat upon his head and a small monocle in front of his right eye. He gave his coat and cane to the maid known as Evangeline and walked into the room where the group hanged out. He smiled at his 'guests' and looked at Allen who sat on the floor, braiding Lenalee's hair. Allen jumped at the sight of his employer: "Master, you're back. Welcome home, Sir."

The man just kept smiling.

Hey...guys... Wassup my homies? Um... Okay. Explanation: The pass - what? - three years my mother gave birth to three boys and so I had to work around the house and shit. So... Yeah. I'm also in high school now and its been tough. I'm usually on my Instagram which is a roleplay account for hetalia, so yeah. I'm in that fandom now, but DGM will always have a special place in my heart. Also, sorry for the short chapter; I know, its pretty crappy. Sorry. Enjoy though. Feel free to PM me!
