who could be that be? mina wasn't coming over as far as inko remembered, and Mitsuki didn't call her.

*ding dong*

"jolyne quit being a child" wait didn't izuku say something about two of the new kids being American, and that they were coming over to meet with mina.

"what's anyone gonna do, give us a slap on the wrist" this one was female so they were the new kids. did izuku make friends, that would be nice if izuku had someone to interact with on a regular basis instead of weekends only.

"johnathan I'm going to ring the bell again if she doesn't open the door," the female voice said. it occurred to inko that they were probably waiting on her to open the doors. so she did revealing two teenagers, one a boy and the other a girl that must have been siblings from how similar they were.

" are you friends of izuku" inko asked.

"that would be correct, has he not told you that we planned on hanging out?" was that an eyepatch? why would he need an eyepatch, and was that a robot arm?

"mom, I'm heading out to meet my-. oh, you guys are already here," izuku said as he exited his room snapping inko out of her thoughts.

"yes, your friends were saying you planned on hanging out." her baby had friends! friends who weren't put off by his quirklessnes! she was so excited she could cry. "you can go out so long as you stay safe and are home by 7."

"Okay love you mom" with that the three teenagers headed out leaving inko to think about what she just learned. izuku had friends, friends as in plural. but why did those two cringe when izuku said his goodbye, and she didn't get their names darn it.

it was a beautiful day outside, birds were singing, flowers were blooming. it felt nice to just walk and talk. still, there were little things that frustrated johnathan, mainly the fact that everyone stared at him. despite what most people thought of him johnathan hated being the center of attention, it always made him feel uncomfortable. still, beside the staring, it was a good day.

"Hey guys," midoriya asked.

"yeah bud," he finally got his fingers to twitch which was a godsend, it meant he was getting closer to not needing help and power naps. "all ears."

"mina is. well, mina is. the thing about mina is that she looks different than us."

"how so," jolyne asked.

"well for one she's-"

"hey, izuku! over here!." a female voice called out from behind johnathan. he turned around to greet who he assumed to be mina.

and his hand was over jolynes mouth to stop her from screaming. the man in the bowler hat was standing right in front of him. the man's stand was hovering right behind him, its pink cat-like face was staring right at him with blank emotionless eyes. they were gonna die, johnathan didn't want to die. he couldn't breathe, why could he breathe? it hand was reaching for him. oh god, it could see them. why can't he move?

"JoJo, calm down. I'm right here."

dad had to be alive, dad would save him. goddammit, why couldn't he just breathe?

"johnathan, I'm right here. breath damnit."

he had to fight back. he had to survive. he changed [devils den] into [the world].

"johnathan, calm the fuck down right now.!"

the bastards face changed from smugness into an expression of fear as he punched [the world's] fist straight into the bastards face only to be caught by strings.

wait strings.

no.no.no. jolyne's face was right in front of his, and her [stone free] was wrapped around [devils den: the world]. he could have killed her. no.no.no.

"johnathan? are you back" her voice was full of concern. why was it not shattered? why did she not hate him?

"I'm sorry" he whispered.

"dude what the hell happened" mina called right beside him. " you saw me and locked up"

as johnathan turned around to talk to the young girl he realized what triggered the repressed memory/ PTSD flashback.

she was the exact same color as the stand.
