Santana glanced quickly over her shoulder and saw Blaine and Brittany curled up on the back seat. They both hand their eyes closed and were each clutching a stuffed cuddly toy. Brittany had hold of a snow leopard and Blaine was grasping an orangutan. Brittany was resting her head on Blaine's shoulder and Blaine had his head a top of Brittany's. It was a very cute sight.

Santana glanced across at Quinn who was sat next to her in the passengers seat, "You think they enjoyed today?"

Quinn laughed softly, "Yeah...I think they did...I never thought I would meet someone who loved the zoo as much as Britt...but then we met Blaine..."

Santana laughed and nodded, "Yeah...and he seems way more cheerful than he has all week...although that might have something to do with the fact that he has been texting Sebastian most of the day..."

Quinn nodded and replied softly, "Yeah...what's up with that? I mean...I know Blaine forgave the Warblers and all...and that he and Sebastian have become friends again...but you get a phone call out of the blue telling you to bring Blaine to Dalton when we are done with the zoo...that they have something planned for Blaine's birthday..."

Santana raised an eyebrow at Quinn, "Continue..."

Quinn sighed and quickly checked that Blaine and Brittany were still asleep, "I thought it should be Kurt making a big deal out of Blaine's 18th...not Sebastian..."

"Q...we don't know what they did on Blaine's actual birthday...I hoping it was something wanky..."

"You always hope it is something wanky..."

The two fell into a comfortable silence, each allowing their thoughts to drift onto the topic of one Blaine Anderson.

Santana remembered when she had first properly met the dark-haired hobbit. It was the night of The Rachel Berry House Party Trainwreck Extravaganza, when Blaine had drunkenly made out with the host. Santana was forced to forgive the hobbit for that alcohol induced decision. It was after Blaine transfered to McKinley, however, that Santana got to know Blaine. She learnt that he was a crazy-good singer and no matter how hard she tried to hate him and not trust him, she couldn't stop the smile appearing on her face whenever she heard him sing. She also learnt that Blaine had a tendancy to go along with things to please people (she knew that Blaine hated both the Lima Bean and Breadstix, yet because Kurt liked it, he went along with it) and that he was very agreeable.
Santana had had to agree with both Tina and Rachel's statement (and she would never repeat that out loud) that Blaine was kind of hot. In a totally nerdy kind of way. When Santana had found out about Blaine boxing she (and the rest of the New Directions Girls) had hidden in the locker room hoping to catch sight of Blaine Anderson. And when they did see him, he didn't disappoint. He was way more muscular than the girls had given him credit for. Santana remembered with a slight blush, Blaine's reaction when he had spotted them hidden behind a row of lockers. He had smiled gently and asked whether they wanted to give it a go. And well they were not going to turn down boxing lessons from Blaine now, were they?

Quinn gazed out of the car window and watched as the world rushed by. It had been 3 months since her car accident and she was finally back on her feet. Much of that was thanks to Blaine. Quinn remembered waking up in the hospital not being able to move her legs and freaking out. She remembered a warm hand placing itself on her arm and motioning for her to relax. Quinn hadn't known who was attempting to comfort her until she lifted her head and the met the golden-honey coloured eyes of Blaine Anderson. She remembered Blaine saying that he understood and that it would get better. She hadn't believed him at the time. But he had been right.

Blaine had been by Quinn's side every tiny step of the way. When Joe hadn't been able to make the physio appointments, Blaine had come in his place. However, it was when Quinn was finally properly walking on her own again that Blaine truly helped. Every morning before school, Blaine would pick her up from school in his very expensive and very sensible car and they would go to the park. At first just getting in the car had been a challenge, but Blaine had talked her through it and eventually she was comfortable in cars again, something she had thought would not be possible. When they got to the park they would walk at first, then they eventually picked the pace up to a jog and most recently they had started to run. Quinn had never felt the need to explain herself to Blaine, he just accepted her. It was refreshing and she was glad that she had allowed Blaine to become what she hoped would be a permanent fixture in her life.

Quinn looked up as Santana pulled her car to a stop at the Dalton security gate. Eventually, Santana pulled the car through the large gate and followed the security guards directions to the visitors car park.

"I never knew Dalton was so...so..."

"Secure? Gated? Hard to get into?"

"I was going to say big...but yeah...they work too..."

"When I came with Kurt, Artie, Rachel and Blaine...we could just drive through as Blaine still had his id to get in...and to park in the student parking lot...and I was surprised then...but I guess this is one of the best schools in the US...I'm guessing there is some pretty high profile kids here who they need to keep secure...to stop their rich-ass parents from suing the school..."

Quinn laughed softly, "Yeah..."

Santana pulled the car to a stop outside of a brick building that was covered in Ivy. Santana and Quinn smiled as they noticed the familiar frame of Sebastian leaning against the wall waiting for them. Santana cut the engine and opened her car door, slipping out and closing it quietly. Quinn copied her and moved around so she was standing next to her.

Sebastian made his way over to the pair, "Ladies..."

"Blaine's asleep...as is Britt...so I just want to check that there is going to be no rock salt at this thing..." Santana said eyeing Sebastian warily.

Sebastian held his hands up in surrender, "Promise...there is no rock salt...I...we just wanted to do something for Blaine's birthday seeing as Lady Hummel forgot..."

"What!?" Santana and Quinn said loudly.

Sebastian gestured for them to keep it down, "I'm guessing Blaine didn't tell you then...Hummel forgot his birthday...he called me to vent...and well I told the warblers and we decided to do this for him..."

Sebastian broke off as he noticed two set of eyes peering at him through the rear window. Quinn and Santana spun around and smiled when saw the pair of them. Santana stepped forward and opened the door slowly.

Blaine stared quizzically at Sebastian, "Seb? We're...We're at...Dalton? Why are we at Dalton?"

Sebastian stepped forward, "I have something to show you Killer..."

"Wanky..."
