Chapter 4

It was finally the weekend. The last week had seemed to take ages. Then again, a lot had happened in that week, from Dan moving into the HQ, to happy endings. Dan and Zoe were inside the HQ, relaxing in the main are and chatting. Suddenly, the lift doors opened to reveal Frank. The two dismissed it as his bi-hourly check-up, but then they saw his expression, Frank looked worried.
"What's up, Frank?" asked Dan
"You have a mission." said Frank
"A mission? Frank, it's Saturday." Replied Zoe
"I know, but it's important and it would be better if you guys go. It's to do with one of your siblings, Zoe." said Frank
"Are Tom and Aneisha on their way?" asked Dan
"No. I'm afraid they're a bit busy. Something about a meet-up?"
Dan and Zoe understood. Tom and Aneisha had organised to have their families meet so that they could get to know each other.
"They do have to keep up appearances" said Dan
"I guess. Now," said Frank. He brought up a picture on the brief screen. It was of a girl, about the same age as Dan and Zoe with hair the same shade as Zoe's.
"This is Keri Summers. Intelligence suggests that she is a target for KORPS for the mind transfer." said Frank
Zoe shivered. She remembered when KORPS tried to transfer The Mastermind's mind into her body. She was so scared. Then Dan and the others came and rescued her but she never felt so scared and nervous.
"Your mission is to go and bring her back here before KORPS gets her." said Frank
Dan and Zoe nodded then got into the lift.

Dan and Zoe reached the location of Keri's house. Frank buzzed their communicators
"OK. Keri was adopted by Len and Jenna Summers." said Frank over the communicators "They are both ex-MI5 so they'll understand. you just have to say that you have to take Keri to safety and it is a 'Priority 1'. They will understand, hopefully."
Dan and Zoe knocked on the door. A middle-aged woman answered the door. She had lught brown hair, with streaks of grey.
"Yes?" she asked
"Hi, we're from MI9." said Zoe
"OK." Replied Mrs Summers "What would you like?"
"We need to have Keri come with us." said Dan "It's a Priority 1 situation"
"OK" Replied Mrs Summers. She called into the house
"Keri!" She called. Keri came to the door. She looked half asleep. It made sense, it was in the morning still.
"Keri," said Mrs Summers. "You have to go with these two. You're in danger, and they're here to take you to safety."
"What?" asks Keri.
"Please Keri. Just trust me. Go with them now. We'll send your stuff to the safehouse" said Mrs Summers
Keri reluctantly agreed and went with Dan and Zoe.

On the way back, Dan and Zoe explained the situation. Suddenly, a group of KORPS agents ambushed them. Zoe and Dan quickly knocked out 2 of the agents, but they were unable to beat the 3rd. Suddenly, the 3rd collapsed to reveal Keri. Dan and Zoe looked shocked at her.
"What? I was just copying you." said Keri.
"OK. That was-" said Dan
"Amazing" finished Zoe

The 3 reached HQ with no further interruptions. When they reached it, Keri informed Frank on Libi, her sister located in 'The Mayze'. Frank said that he would get in touch and try get MI9 send a team. Frank arranged provisional sleeping arrangements for Keri. She would be sleeping in the same room as Zoe. Frank then left, leaving the 3 teens behind. They chatted for a bit. Dan and Zoe explained about what MI High was and how she would be involved in the scheme. They then showed her around the HQ before continuing with the day. Frank checked back on them every two hours as usual. The weekend continued. On the Monday Dan and Zoe introduced Keri to Aneisha and Tom. They all got along fine.

A/N: How was that? Sorry if it's a bit short, I just really wanted to publish a chapter as soon as possible. I just felt as if I had been neglecting this story. Anyway, hope you enjoyed and remember to review.
