The First Mission of the Blond Wolf

I want to jump right now to a cliff.

It has been two days since my first arrive here in Magnolia. Here I'am sulking on the bed of my apartment having a hard time to move on to the words that Natsu.

"I treat her only as a dog"

His words are still on my mind. Argh! Why does he have to be so mean! This past days he was not just treating me as a dog but also he was treating me as his slave! And everyday he will gives me a piece of paper were my chores are written. Another one have just recently arrived today.

To my blond wolf

-Go help Happy in fishing

-my clothes are already in your apartment wash them

-and lastly I want you to cook for me at lunch meet me at the guild, 12pm (sharp)

I hate waiting.

Natsu Dragneel

See? I really want to jump in a cliff like now.
"RAAH!" I yelled. That evil prince!

Yes, this past few days I develop my relationship in the guild and I enjoyed it so much. Levy-chan and I have been talking all about books. I also have met the water mage Juvia who enjoys Gray as her company it was still weird that she was calling me love rival though. Then again, at the end of the day I was blaming myself for obeying that evil prince's command. I sigh.

I get up and cook for my breakfast. I think that Happy is still sleeping at this time so skip that, after eating I picked up Natsu's clothes and wash them. After hanging them to dry I headed straight to the bathroom.

At the guild I noticed Happy flying to me.
"Lusshee! You're so slow!" he complained

Don't blame me for that stupid cat.
"Anyway Happy instead of fishing, lets just go to a mission, then you can buy any fish that you want its much easier than you know.." I said.
"hmm"
"I give you the half of the reward, geesh" Happy grinned
"Aye Lucy! Actually I already have pick out our mission! Lets go!"

That evil cat! He knew that this was going to happen he was just waiting for me to say that I will give him the half of the reward. We went to the client, and our mission was to deliver a letter to his wife in Hot Patty Village which was miles and miles away from here.

[PRESENT TIME]

"Lushee! What are you talking about!? I'm teaming up with you because that Idiot Natsu wants to go on a solo mission so since both of us are desperately needing money, we teamed up to this mission." Happy said. He was joining forces with the heat of the desert which was annoying.
"shhhhh! The giant centipede will hear us" I told him both of us are still hiding.
"And Lucy, I can hear your thoughts saying that "Oh please Lushheee.. I need to buy fish, I have no money.. Please.. You're the only ' strongest' mage that can help me please..." Really Lucy?" Happy frowned. I laugh sarcastically.
"Happy you're just imagining things"

Seriously my mind is being loud. I need to get this fix. (-3-)

"Lushee! Call your spirits before its-" The giant centipede made a loud growl that made us jump out to our hiding place. We started running for our lives.
"LUSHEE!"
"I'm on it!.. V-virgo! S-scorpio C-ca-capricorn!" I said panicking, I was grabbing any key that I can hold.

"Ebi" Cancer appeared
"Punishment princess?" Virgo said.

Happy sweat drop looking into me with his expression of 'Are you sure about this?' I believe into my spirits! They can defeat this creature.

"Cancer! Virgo! Stop that creature!" I commanded.
"We will do our best Prin-" The creature jumped to Virgo causing her to vanish leaving a 'poof!' sound and white smoke.
"VIRGO!" I cried.
"I'll protect you ebi!" Cancer said, using his scissors. Cancer fought with the giant centipede giving us an opportunity to run for our lives.
"EBI!" Cancer screamed before disappearing.

"LUSHEEE!" Happy said, both of us are breathing heavily. I wiped the sweat in my forehead.
"THATS IT!" I stopped from running. I turned my gaze into the giant centipede.
"Oh! Lushheee! You look so cool!" Happy said while his eyes are sparkling.

I know that Happy. I smirked. I put my hands on my waist waiting for the creature to come close.

"Get ready to taste my power you.. You.. Uhm.. YOU GIANT WORM!?"
"OMGEE! Lusheee! Are you going to use Aquarius? Or are you going to use your most powerful spirit?"
The giant centipede growl once more. I raised my right hand. I charged.

"LUCY DYNAMIC PUNCH!" I closed my eyes waiting for my fist to reach the impact. I can hear Happy gasping.

I don't know why but I feel that it suddenly became quiet. It was like the world suddenly...

Stop.

My fist din't felt the impact nor the creature's skin but I'm positively sure that there was something that attached on my arm. I slowly opened my eyes.

OH MY SWEET CORN PIE

My eyes widen my legs are slowly shaking I gulped.

"N-N-Natsu, w-what are you doing here?" I nervously ask. He narrowed his eyes on me. I shivered. He slowly let go of my arm.
"If you touched a desert centipede it poison your body badly" Nastu said in his dark tone. He turned around and glared his eyes to the creature. He lit his hands with fire, before he charged an attack I stopped him.

"D-Don't touch it" I said.
"I won't. My flames will"
He charged jumping higher using his flames. He attacked the creature in his flaming right hand and the creature incinerated.
My eyes were still widely open (and did I mention I haven't move a single muscle since he started fighting) my jaw was drop down open)

Why is he here anyway? And how come he save me? Wait!?

He SAVED me!? That arrogant bastard SAVED me!? No way this is too good to be true, Natsu walked to me and leaned his face into mine. I feel my cheeks burning. (Okay that was a slow and awkward movement)

"You're late! You know that!? And do you know what time is it?"
"Ahm" I turned my gaze to Happy.
"Its 3:14 pm Lushee" He replied shoving the dirt in his shoulder.
"Ha-Ha-Ha" I laugh sarcastically. Am I forgetting something?
"Did you know how long I have waited?" Natsu said displeasingly. I gulped.

OMG I forgot about his lunch (o.o") ready to die Lucy?

I looked up and whistle. He sighs. Natsu slowly ran his fingers into my hair.

"Don't do it again" He said calmly. My eyes are stuck to his.

What the heck had happen to him!? Is he like this when he is hungry? (O.O) oh gosh Natsu go and starve to death.

"Natsu, why did you save me?" I asked. He smiled (which was scary I'm actually screaming in my mind like now)
"I'am your master. A master always come in time when it comes to trouble after all your my blond wolf" Natsu said.

Oh, screw you Master.

"Lushee! Our reward!" Happy reminded me jumping into my shoulders.
"Dog, let's finish this mission already I'm damn hungry"

After 5674853974 years we have finally arrived in our destination. I knock on the clients door.

"Good Afternoon may I help you?" The old lady said and smiled.
"Oh I'm here to deliver a letter to you from your husband my name is Lucy this is Happy"
"Aye!" Happy greeted.
"And this is Natsu" I added pointing at the person with dark aura at my back. He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. He is so damn cold to everyone. The old lady chuckles.
"its so nice to see young people doing this kind of task" I handed her the letter, the old lady sobbed.
"EHH!?" I reacted from her sudden action.
"Oh I'm just so happy. Its been so long since I received a letter to my dear husband" she smiled. I giggled. That was just so sweet I mean up until now she was still inlove with her husband I don't know why but I just envy her. She gave us our reward.
"Please, I bet you all are hungry from that long journey come inside, I insist."
"Yehhhey!" Happy cheered up.
"Lets go ba-" I closed Natsu's mouth and dragged him inside.

I gasp. Woah, her house is so beautiful it feels so warm and cozy. We sited on the dinning area, she served us food. Happy did not resist and quickly put food in his mouth I sweat drop.

"I don't want this," Natsu complained pushing away his plate.
"What's wrong dear?" the old lady ask.
"Oh, don't mind him" I said and glared my eyes to that arrogant bastard. The old lady chuckles.
"I told you to cook for me right?" I put my palm on my face. Geez this idiot was still thinking about that? Argh! I'm having a head ache (-.-")
"You can use my kitchen dear, I won't mind" The old lady said and was starting to read the letter.
"thank you" I said and once again glared my eyes to the idiot he made a huge grin in his face and I was like, go and drown yourself.

While cutting carrots I imagine it as Natsu.
"Urgh!*cut*Stupid*cut*Arrogant*cut*pathetic bas-"
"Blondie? Are you saying something?" Natsu asked. I smiled at him.
"No, not at all, haha I was just humming my favorite song"
"hmm" He turned his gaze away. My sarcastic smile faded and I raised a knife pointing at him. I stick my tongue out. Anyway back to the carrots.
"Stupid*cut*Stupid*cut*Stupid*cut*"

I took a deep breath.
"Here!" I said giving him the dish that I have cooked.
"Finally!" Natsu said and started eating. The old lady notice us she smiled at me and winked. I raised my eye brow. Hey what was that all about? I shook that thought off I started eating filling my empty stomach.

Before leaving I once again thanked the old lady for everything. At the train station Natsu stopped.
"I'll be waiting at your apartment" he said. "okay" I replied then he left. I watched him as he walks away, seriously whats up with him and transportation?
"Lusshee?" I snapped my attention back.
"Coming!" I started running to Happy.
At my apartment, when I opened the door I saw Natsu sitting on the chair with his clothes neatly folded on the table.
"hey, did you do this?" I asked him pointing at his clothes.
"yeah I have nothing to do anyway" He stood up carrying them in his arms. I gave Happy his share.
"We'll be leaving" Natsu said.
"Bye Lushee!" Happy said and waved his hand. Both of them left I sighed. I took a bath.

"Ahhh. It feels good" I said as my body was soaking in the warm water with vanilla strawberry scent. I closed my eyes. What a day! I'm so glad to have accomplished my first mission. It was pretty tough but I manage it. Then again without the help of Natsu I might be poison right now or worst!

"YOSH!" I made up my mind. Starting tomorrow I will find a personal Nakama.

Sorry guys I'm not good at writing battle scenes and sorry guys, I don't have time to edit my story It might be full of errors and wrong grammars. anyway I'm still accepting your reviews. It gives me confidence in writing my story ^^ Natsu saved Lucy's life is this the start of NALU? (actually no)
