I furiously swipe at the lone tear that had managed to escape. Trying to pull myself together I wipe under my eyes and leave the bathroom. Simba circles my legs, trying to comfort me. I gave him a small pet before grabbing my sweater and heading out to meet Ross for the last time before he leaves for tour.

It was a bittersweet feeling, knowing that this was something that makes him so happy but means he can't be with me as much. I jump in my car and head towards where their tour bus is supposed to be waiting. I know it will be nice to see him one last time but at the same time saying goodbye is going to be very hard.

There drive there doesn't take too long but the minutes seem to drag as I get lost in my thoughts. I come up on the parking lot and see two tour buses waiting. I park my car and slowly get out not wanting the goodbye to come any sooner than it has to. Ross turns as he hears my car door shut. He jogs to me and grabs me by the waist and pulling me in for a gentle kiss.

"So today's the day," He whispers into my hair.

"I can't believe it. I feel like you guys were just planning this yesterday and now your leaving me." I pull back to give him a small smile and a peck on the cheek

"I know, it's crazy but it's gonna be so much fun!" His face lights up and I can't help but smile at his happiness.

"Where is everyone else?" I ask while looking around.

Ross rubs the back of his neck while looking down at the ground. I watch as he tries to hold back a smile.

"Well here's the thing. I have a surprise." He takes my hand, leading me towards that tour buses. I try to get him to turn and look at me but he just keeps walking. He stops us next to the bus on the left.

"Ross what's going on?" I ask starting to get impatient.

"Well.. I know you were sad that I was leaving. So I was trying to figure out a way that would make this tour more enjoyable for the both of us and I was thinking that maybe you could come with us. But then Rydel mentioned the dogs and how you couldn't leave them so I came up with this." He gestures to the tour bus and turned towards me.

I gave him a confused look, "How's this the solution? This was literally what you said wouldn't work."

"No that was us on the bus with the rest of the band. This is a bus for just you, me, and the doggies."

"Wait what?" I stare at him in shock. Tears pool in my blue eyes as he pulls me into a hug.

"You and me. It'll be a little hard since we will have to stop often to walk the dogs but we can do it. Also I might've lied just a wee little bit." He over exaggerates it with hand motions making me laugh. "We don't leave till tonight. So you have time to go home and pack and get the dogs ready and I thought we could take a quick stop to pick some stuff up to personalize the bus. To make it feel more like ours."

The tears well up even more and I pull him down into a kiss. He brushes my blonde hair out of my face before pulling back. He presses a soft kiss to my forehead and grabs my hand once more.

"This is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. I love you." I adjust my glasses and hold up my car keys with a large grin. "We've got some shopping and packing to do!"

We spend the afternoon roaming around Ikea to find a few things such as pillows and blankets to make the space a bit cozier. I even pick up a small rug and a few plants that won't die easily. After we finished shopping we headed back to my place so I could pack up.

As I open the door I can see all my german shepherds waiting at the door for me. Most people thought I was crazy for having four big dogs but they brought me so much joy that it was worth it.

"Kovu," Ross shouts while rushing towards him to play. I laugh at the sight of my boyfriend playing with the dogs. It makes me happy knowing that at the end of the day he loves and appreciates my dogs as much as I do. Most people I'd dated before put up with them but never really felt what I did towards my precious puppies.

I head into my bedroom to start packing. I grab my suitcase and fill it with as many clothes as I can. I load up my duffel bag with all my toiletries and other odds and ends. Next I pack a few of the dog's toys and their bowls. I grab their bag of food and load it into the backseat of my car. Ross comes out with my bags and helps me finish loading the car.

"Kennice." He says my name so simply and it brings me so much joy.

"Yeah?" I turn towards him to catch him beaming at me.

"I have never wanted anything more than to have you with me on tour. Especially since your bringing my best friends." He turns to look at the dogs looking out the window. Wrapping his arm around my shoulder we head back in to grab any last minute things and to get the dogs ready.

An hour later we are standing in the tour bus. Our tour bus. Kiara had settled in the quickest and was already napping on the couch. Normally I wouldn't allow pets on the furniture but I let it slide this time since I wanted them to transition as smoothly as possible.

Ross had already put their water bowl in the little kitchen area and I was starting to add our own little touches. I was setting some throw pillows on the bed when Ross wrapped his arms around me from behind.

"...looks perfect," he mumbles.

I turn in his arms, giving him a quick peck. "I know we picked some really cute things that really make this feel more like a home." I gush, excitement bubbling over.

"Actually, I meant you being here on tour with me. That I won't have to wait months to see you again. That you will be here with me every morning and night. That your making this a home for us." My cheeks turn red as I listen to him.

"I love you." I whisper between gentle kisses.

"I love you too Kennice."

We both go to lean in once more but Nala interrupts. She comes running in and jumps on the bed. Ross laughs at her before flopping down as well and hugging her. I look at the two of them with pure happiness. This is bound to be amazing because I have Ross and my dogs by my side for this crazy journey.
