Hey guys! Please don't kill me, I know it's ahead been ages since I last updated. Please forgive me! I've been a little more into writing again lately, so hopefully I can update again really soon!

Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter. But I wish I did. Don't we all?

The family tree potion is the only one hundred percent accurate way of determining your lineage. Hermione had brewed it only once before; in potions class last year. It was not a very challenging potion to brew, but you had to let it simmer for 24 hours before adding the last ingredient, a drop of blood coming from whomever wished to use the potion. You then poured it on a piece of special parchment and it would reveal a family tree. Hermione spent the rest of the day after breakfast brewing the potion and researching. When the potion was done brewing, at around three in the afternoon, Hermione headed downstairs.

"Mrs. Weasley?" She asked upon entering the kitchen.

"Yes dear?" Came the reply.

"Do you have any family tree parchment handy?" Hermione asked, taking a seat at the empty kitchen table.

"No, sorry dearest. We have never had to use the family tree potion! We know exactly what family we are in because of the hair!" She joked halfheartedly. "Perhaps you and Ginny can go get some in Diagon Alley bright and early tomorrow morning."

"Alright Mrs. Weasley. I'll talk to Ginny about it."

"Right then, Hermione. Supper will be ready at six!" Molly finished. Hermione then headed upstairs to find Ginny.

When Hermione couldn't find Ginny anywhere inside, she decided to look and see if she was playing quidditch in the yard with the boys. She found the boys and Ginny playing in the garden. Hermione was the only one that didn't enjoy quidditch, but when she saw the rest of the Weasley clan playing today, she had the odd urge to join them.

"Hey Herms! Wanna join us?" Gin asked when she saw Hermione, half joking. Hermione had always disliked quidditch, but she never said why. Ginny thought she was scared of heights. When Hermione nodded and asked "Whose broom can I use?" Ginny's jaw fell open.

"Are you sure, 'mione?" Ginny asked. "Are you sick or something?"

"No I'm not sick! I just have the odd urge to fly."

"Do you even know how?"

"Ofcourse. Madame Hooch taught us all in first year!"

"Okay..." Ginny said, still skeptical. Ginny acciod one of her old brooms and held it out to Hermione. "A firefly 100? I could walk faster than this thing!" Hermione said snobbily, sounding just like Draco Malfoy. A faint blush crept across Ginny's face.

"It's this or nothing! How do you even know about brooms?"

"Ginny, I have spent most of my summers here since first year. Of course I know these things." Hermione stated while taking the broom from Ginny's outstretched hand. She hopped on the broom and was surprised to find herself completely at ease. She leaned forward slightly and made her slow ascent towards the others. Ginny thought she heard hermione mutter something about "bloody fireflies, id never buy one" as she zoomed past her. When Hermione reached the others playing, she stopped and hovered.

"Oh don't look so shocked. I just wanted to play!" Hermione said indignantly, gesturing to the boys wide eyes.

"What position do you want to play?" Harry asked kindly.

Hermione scowled. They thought she was a joke! She would show them. "Seeker." She responded confidently. She then cast a charm she had read about in a quidditch magazine on her broom to make it go faster. She could beat any of these silly boys. "Well, you can be the seeker on Fred and George's team. I'm the other seeker." Harry responded. "Don worry, we'll go easy on you!" Ron said. Hermione almost flipped him the bird. They got into position and Bill Weasley magically unlocked the balls. Hermione glanced at her teammates as they zoomed off. She was on a team with Fred, George, Bill, and Percy. The other team was Harry, Ginny, Ron, Charlie and George's girlfriend, Angelina. She had arrived that afternoon. They didn't have full teams, so they were playing with one seeker, two beaters, one keeper and one chaser. Hermione slowly circled the pitch, looking for the snitch. Somehow, playing quidditch seemed like second nature to her. She felt confident, and the adrenaline was coursing through her body. Suddenly, Hermione saw a flash of gold in the distance. The snitch. So far, her team was losing 25-10. Angelina was playing brilliantly and had scored many times. Hermione looked for Harry. He was preoccupied dodging the bludger. Good. Fred and George were excellent beaters. Hermione stealthily began flying towards the snitch. She was going to surprise everyone. She crept nearer and nearer, and was about 10 yards away from the snitch when Charlie, a beater, noticed and directed the bludger towards hermione. Then, the chase was on. Harry zoomed to catch up with Hermione, and she flew after the snitch. She was accelerating quickly, and was dodging bludgers left and right. It was excellent flying, and she was catching up to the snitch. But Harry was catching up to her. She was getting nearer and nearer. Fred hit the bludger towards Harry, and he had to turn off to avoid it. Hermione grinned. She was going to win. She could feel it. Then, Ginny hit the bludger towards her. It was flying straight towards her head. It was closer, and closer, and closer. She couldn't turn off, Harry was gaining again. She gulped and yanked on her broom, leaning severely to the right. She could feel herself spinning, and then she was flying upside down. She heard the bludger whiz over her broom, narrowly missing the fingers that were clutching her broom white knuckled. She continued all the way around until she was upright again. The extra adrenaline from the danger kicked in, and Hermione was zooming towards the snitch once more. She was getting closer and closer, and she felt her fingers closing around the stealthy gold ball. And then, Hermione was hit forcefully by something right in the side. The pain was unbearable for a moment, and Hermione let go of the snitch and her broomstick and started falling, falling, but she blacked out before she hit the ground with a thud.
