AN I would like to apologise for the long Hiatus, went through a lot of issues. Had been working on a novel for the past 4 years only to have my finished product ready and on USB then stolen. Sot I decided to go back to my roots, and come back here. I am going to be more consistent. I do have the story fleshed out so updates will come more frequently. Also I know Naruto is finished but I do have my own story line, so I am not going to change it too much to include the canon.

Sakura looked at Naruto as he walked through the village. He looked different, with his black pants with taped shins. His boot were made of a simple leather material so much so you could not hear him when he walked. He had holsters on both thighs, but neither had any kunai in them. He had a black t-shirt that was made of some light material, which seemed to protect from nothing. He also had orange fingerless gloves. He no longer carried his hitae on his forehead but rather on his shoulder. He also had 2 earrings in his right ear. He didn't feel like the Naruto she remembered. There was no over exuberance that Naruto used to have. He seemed more calm, and relaxed. Sakura didn't know how she felt about this Naruto, at one point she felt happy that he had come back, at the same time, after watching him ruthlessly kill Danzo, she felt like the old Naruto would never do that.

"That bad eh" Naruto startled her trail of thoughts.

"What do you mean" asked Sakura,

"I mean, I can tell that you are not happy with what you see. I know I am not the same person that left 10 years ago. And I know that people will see more differently knowing what I have done. But I am the same person inside Sakura, I promise."

Sakura looked at Naruto intently, it made her feel a sense of guilt, and it has been 10 years since they last met. People change, Heck even she changed, she wasn't even remotely close to the same person she was. Sakura was about to open her mouth to apologize but Naruto interrupted her.

"No need to apologise, sometimes I wish I was the same person too."

Tsunade watched the whole conversation with the corner of her eyes. She was impressed with Naruto's growth she wanted to see how much he actually improved. After all she needed to know where best to put him.

"Naruto, I would like for you to spar with someone here if you don't mind, in order to test your skills."

"No problem Baa-chan I will fight whoever you want. Just tell Kakashi-sensei he is going to have to go all out, if he wants to make it interesting." Naruto replied.

"Actually we want you to face off with our best fighter, he is waiting for you at training ground 6" Tsunade responded with a smirk.

Naruto was confused, he would imagine that Kakashi-Sensei was the strongest ninja in Konoha, after all according to his intel, there was a ninja in Konoha that was called the Jutsu King, and this ninja was apparently an amazing fighter with a vast knowledge of Justus. His intel even told him that the Jutsu King eliminated 3 whole platoons of Sound Ninjas by himself. Naruto was very interested in knowing who the Jutsu King was. It couldn't have been Neji, he was a taijutsu specialist, it could not be Shikamaru, and he doesn't seem motivated enough to train for that much. As Naruto continued deep in thought, Tsunade turned her attention from him to Jiraiya.

"So why are you back in now, why did you wait so long" she asked him. After a deep breath he replied,

"We were following a lead looking for Jinn,"

"Who is Jinn?" Tsunade asked,

"Jinn is perhaps the most dangerous villain right now, he makes the Akatsuki look like Genin. He has a team of SS class ninjas with him. Even the weakest of them has fought Itachi to a standstill. That's how strong they are, also added a new addition to their team; Uchiha Sasuke!"

"Sasuke!" Tsunade exclaimed.

"Yes Sasuke" Jiraiya continued, "He joined them 3 years ago, after he killed Orochimaru, Naruto and Sasuke 'exchanged' their opinions on the matter when Naruto found out that Sasuke had intention of joining Jinn. Naruto hopes that if he defeats all of Jinn's team Sasuke will come to his senses. But he does have one more mission before he goes after them."

"What mission is that?" Tsunade further questioned.

"Naruto has found out that the Akatsuki has found a new method of extracting the Bijuu. This new process allows them to extract it in 2 days and leaves the Jinchuriki a dead shell with no hope of revival. What makes matters worse is that they do not have to go in order, they extract from any Jinchuriki at any time."

Tsunade was shocked, if Akatsuki extract the Bijuu, then they could make a weapon that would make them virtually impossible. And because any Jinchuriki can be extracted, there would be no way to predict where they would be next.

The rest of the walk was in silence, Sakura was deep in thought about how people change, Naruto, was trying to predict who he would spar with, Tsunade was worrying about the Akatsuki, as well as Jinn, and Jiraiya was daydreaming about the potential "research" he could do here in Konoha all the while silently giggling. Before long they reached the training area and standing there was a man cloaked in green with a hood. Naruto noticed his pants were dark, and he emitted a unique type of chakra, but he felt familiar, like someone he knew from the past.

"What's your name?" asked Naruto. There was a stillness and before anyone could say anything, the hooded ninja sprinted forward and had his kunai clash with Naruto's kunai. As they stood at a standstill, Naruto noticed that this shinobi was strong, not as strong as he was but still very impressive. Naruto then twisted his kunai and grabbed the ninja's out stretched arm and twisted him, and as the ninja twisted with the momentum, Naruto kicked him in the chest and sent him traveling, but the ninja managed to recover with a backflip. The ninja then lunged at Naruto and began a hand to hand combat. Though to the common eye it looked like a blur, to those watching like Sakura, Tsunade, and Jiraiya this was an impressive show of taijutsu from both men.

"Unbelievable!" Tsunade, exclaimed,

"Yes I am very impressed with your Jutsu King, even though Naruto is holding back it still is very impressive. Very few have kept up with him even at this state," Jiraiya replied. And as if right on cue, Naruto sent the King flying with a punch to the face. The King however, got up wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. He then proceeded to make a flurry of hand seals and then tap the ground with his right foot and did not move. Naruto, was hesitant, he knew a jutsu was activated, he felt it but he couldn't tell what it was because unlike regular shinobi, this King used silent incantation. Silent incantation can only be done by high level ninjas like himself. They only need to whisper the jutsu, though not full powered, it doesn't let the enemy know what Jutsu you know and therefore very difficult to predict. Naruto took a cautious first step and just as he did he felt the ground change and leapt into the air, which was a good thing because if he didn't his foot would have been impaled from a 3 inch spike from the ground. As Naruto landed again, he felt the ground change again, and Naruto was forced to avoid those spikes but each time he made contact with the ground a spike would appear. It was a very impressive jutsu because it was impossible to avoid the ground forever, but Naruto was known for doing the impossible. As Naruto was about to come down from another leap he didn't land on the ground but to everyone's shock he hovered over the ground by 2 inches.

"How is that possible?" Tsunade was stunned,

"Well what did you expect, He is called Death WIND. He completely mastered the wind element. I mean COMPLETELY mastered it. The same way people release chakra, Naruto can release his wind element from his tenketsu which allows him to hover, and even fly."

"Fly! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE" Ino screamed as she entered the training ground. As Tsunade looked at Ino, she saw other shinobi enter the training ground to watch this spar, Ino, Chouji, Shikamaru albeit reluctantly, Neji, Tenten, Rock Lee, Udon, Moegi, Kiba, Shino, and Hinata amongst others all gathered around to see this fight. But none of this mattered to the two young men facing off. Naruto without waiting flew towards the King with a chakra enhanced punch only to have the King dodge it and shoot fire balls at Naruto. As Naruto avoided those he then grabbed the King and flew in the air all the while, engaging in another melee in close combat. This time however the King punched Naruto down. As Naruto got up he immediately did a quick hand seal and the King tensed up. Then Naruto rushed at him and threw a right handed punch, instead of blocking it with his left hand he moved his right hand to block it only to eat the punch square in the face. Naruto then continued to beat down on the King and surprisingly he kept on using the wrong leg or hand to block.

"What's going on, the King could have easily blocked those hits why is he using the wrong arm?" Udon asked. Before Jiraiya could reply Neji answered,

"Genjustu, Naruto put him in a Genjustu."

"He is right," continued Jiraiya, "Naruto's genjustu confuses the nerves and muscles and makes the user use the opposite body part." Everyone there was impressed, genjustu was considered Naruto's greatest weakness, they could only imagine how much stronger he is. The King by now knew he was in a genjustu and proceeded to break it. He then opened his right hand and then the tips of his fingers glowed with chakra as he closed his fist all the chakra merged into his hand and engulfed his fist. There was a low whistling of power emitting from it. As Naruto saw that, he opened his palm and his trademark Rasengan began to form, however unlike previous ones this one was dark blue. There was a moment of standstill where both men acknowledged each other's strength. Then in an instant they both lunged at each other and when both the chakra fist and Rasengan met there was a blinding flash of white light. After the dust settled there stood Naruto in front of the King of Jutsu, with his hooded cloak lost in the wind. The Jutsu King smiled as Naruto was shocked and then cracked a huge smile and yelled YOU!

I know I am rusty hopefully I can shake it off and make the next few chapters better. feel free leave comments and suggestions im open to both.
