Chapter 4

Percy makes a splash

/Percy POV/

I was having a nightmare so I went to the beach. It always calms me down. I was drawing in the sand and I was noticing how I pictured a ballerina dancing on the water and a ballerina made of water followed what I thought. I woke up at about 1 and I just sat there exploring what I could do. Soon I was there for at least an hour playing with the water. I just started making a new sculpture, when all of a sudden I heard a splash.

I turned towards the sound and I saw a guy in a black hoodie and blue jeans coming up from the water. It looks like he was watching me and fell in. What a klutz I thought. I looked at him and asked "Who are you?" hoping that he will answer truthfully. But, all I got in response was an "I don't think you should know" in a gruff voice. We stared at each other for a while when he got up to leave and said "I gotta go." When he started to pick himself up I thought I can't let him get away and I got up and grabbed his hand. I wanted to know why he was here and why he woke up so early. I could tell he was blushing his body temperature was getting higher. But, I paid no attention to it and sat on the shore with the waves lapping our feet and I pulled him down with me.

I was very curious, so my hand was inching to take off his hood when he abruptly said "You are a very curious person aren't you?" I immediately said "No I'm not

He replied with saying "Ok Ms. Eager"

I glared at him.

I just said to him "Fine I will just have to find out myself"

I tackled him faster than lightning.

He dove under the water, I dove in after him. The next thing I knew he yelled "I am going back to my cabin"

I ran after him, I knew he was just trying to lose me so to make him think I wasn't following him I jumped up into the trees and I was right. He backtracked and went into the Hephaestus cabin.

I got my prey.

I just went to the Hermes cabin and fell asleep.

In the morning when I went to breakfast I burned my offerings and everyone started to stare at me, or above my head. I looked up and I saw a green glowing trident.

Chiron announced "Persephone Jackson, Daughter of Poseidon, God of the seas, King of the horses, Storm bringer and Earth Shaker" Everyone clapped

I looked at Leo and our eyes locked. He was looking at me like I was a puzzle he couldn't solve. "He looks cute like that" Wait what am I saying?

After dinner we had capture the flag, our team won. After that Clarisse threw me into the lake and I sat down there thinking. I was pondering why I thought Leo looked cute. "This can't be happening" I muttered to myself

After about 20 minutes I resurfaced and went straight to bed.

I had a nightmare about Leo getting eaten and killed by that stupid Chimera.

I woke up in a cold sweat so I changed into a bathing suit this time, even though it was only 1:30 in the morning.

I decided to swim and play in the water.

I made more sculptures and talked to fishes.

I felt a presence watching me, I walked to the shore and looked out of the corner of my eye as I saw the man I met last night sitting on top of that same rock.

I waded over to him. He noticed I was coming, and I saw him. He was about to run away when I caught his sweatshirt. He real quickly put up the hood once it fell down.

I was just mad that he didn't trust me to see him. I did the first thing that came to mind to surprise him. Since, he already knew the tackle routine, I kissed him.

It was very long and powerful and once he realized what was happening, he took my hands and held them firmly. Next, he said in his gruff voice "I know what you are doing" I pulled away and I could see a slight smirk under his hood.

I just got irritated. I gave up and I told him just that.

"I give up" I said

"No you can't" he replied

"Yes I can"

"No you can't"

"Yes I can"

"Yes I can"

"Yes I can"

"Yes you can!"

"Exactly I can" I said with a large grin/smirk on my face, I was holding in my laughter

I sauntered over to the water and started to play in it again.

He came over to me and picked me up bridal style and said "You're not allowed to give up as long as I am here"

It was right then I burst with laughter

He looked at me with a confused look and I just laughed harder.

Next I sprinted into the water and he followed me.

He asked me "You know what cabin I am now? Right? I thought I lost you until I looked ou the window and saw you leap down from the trees."

I replied "Yes I do Mr. Blacksmith"

He grunted at the name but, otherwise he stifled a small smile.

His eyes screamed joy but, I could tell he was holding it in

I wish he wasn't so emotionless, but I figured he was only emotionless so I wouldn't find out who he was. I admire him for that

While tracing circles in the sand I said to him "I admire how you try with all your might to keep in your emotions inside of you to not blow your cover. I don't think you will be able to hold them in much longer though" I said with a smirk

I said "I bid you good night Mr. Blacksmith. Until next time." And of course to start breaking down his barriers I kissed him full on the lips and just as he was begging for more I pulled away and sprinted towards my cabin.
