Ziva smiled as she dialed a familiar number into her cell phone and waited nervously as she listened to it ring. This wasn't normal behavior for Ziva David, she was acting like a love sick teenager. Mostly because she felt like one when it came to the person she was calling.

Finally, someone answered the call.

"Hello?"

Ziva's smile widened.

"Abby! Did I wake you?"

The reply came in a yawn.

"No, I was getting dressed. I wouldn't exactly mind if you had woken me up anyways."

The tone in Abby's voice told Ziva that the Goth was smiling. Ziva felt heat in her cheeks as she let out a small laugh. This most definitely wasn't normal behavior for Ziva David. She just couldn't help herself when it came to Abby. They had been officially together in a romantic relationship for three weeks now and neither of the girls wanted it to end.

"Can I pick you up and drive you to work? I'll drive you back home afterwards."

Ziva rubbed her bottom lip absentmindedly as she waited for Abby's reply.

"You can if you can get here it time to make sure I'm still early."

Ziva nodded even though she knew Abby couldn't see her.

"I can do that, besides Gibbs wanted me to teach you all how to throw knives today. We can get some extra practice in."

Abby chuckled on the other end of the phone.

"Sounds like a date."

Ziva mouthed a silent "Yes" before she responded in a much calmer tone.

"I'll be over in ten minutes."

Ziva grasped Abby's hips as she stood behind the taller woman, who was actually almost the same height as she was now that she had taken off her platform boots at Ziva's request.

"Deep breath." Ziva instructed.

Abby did so and Ziva moved her right hand to grasp Abby's fist which was closed around the knife.

"Let it out, relax."

Abby tried her best to follow Ziva's instructions, but Ziva could still feel how tight Abby's abdominal muscles were.

"Relax."

Abby let out a sigh and Ziva felt the muscles soften under her touch.

"Good girl."

Ziva pulled Abby's hand back so that it was near the Goth's ponytail.

Ziva swung her hand forward along with Abby's. Abby let go of the knife at just the right time to allow the knife to sink directly into the middle of the target.

"That was great, Abby."

Ziva's voice was a slightly higher pitch due to her approval. Ziva smiled and kissed Abby's cheek.

"Well of course it was."

Ziva looked over along with Abby to find Tony, McGee and Lee walking into Ziva's little training circle.

Tony smiled as he pulled the knife out of the target before holding out to Abby.

"Abby's known how to throw knives since shew was fourteen."

Ziva stepped around so that she was standing beside Abby. Ziva raised her eyebrows at the Goth.

"Is that so?"

Abby let out a small laugh as she smiled nervously back down at the Israeli.

"Must have slipped my mind."

"You let me go on believing that you didn't know how to throw knives?"

"In my defense, I never said that I couldn't, you simply assumed... And I kind of liked you teaching me how to throw knives, it gave me a chance to be close to you without making you feel uncomfortable."

Abby spoke while grasping Ziva's hands and threading her fingers through Ziva's.

Ziva smiled placed a quick kiss on Abby's lips.

"You are forgiven. However, you must show me how good you are."

With that Ziva stepped back and waited for Abby to pick up one of the knives.

Abby didn't take her eyes off Ziva until she picked up one of the knives and studied it for a moment, before she fluidly threw it forward with just enough force for the knife to sink into the target, exactly where the previous knife had landed.

Abby turned back to Ziva and held her hands out before letting them fall to her sides, signaling for Ziva's opinion.

Ziva nodded with approval.

"I'm impressed. Now why don't you go stand to the side so that I can teach the others, since you already know how to do this so well."

With that Ziva kissed her cheek and gave her ass a small smack to send her on her way. Abby mock pouted and let out a fake whining sound as she stood off to the side leaning against a crate that Tony was leaning on as well.

Ziva stood in front of the three NCIS agents and picked up a knife.

She went through the same motions she had with Abby, only by herself this time.

"Every knife has its own individual balance. The trick is to find it."

Without stopping her speech Ziva swung her arm back and flung the knife.

"When you do," Ziva finally paused as the knife sunk easily into what would be the suspects chest, if the target had been a real person.

Ziva turned back to the agents with a normal face, as if she didn't know how hard it was for someone to do what she had just done, without practice.

"You get this. Any questions?"

Abby smiled at Ziva's smug nature, to some it would seem annoying, but Abby would much rather have a smug girlfriend then one who was insecure and wouldn't take a compliment. That wasn't to say that Ziva didn't have her insecurities, Abby didn't know what they were yet, but she knew the Israeli woman had some, however, she also knew that when the time came, Ziva would reveal these, insecurities to her.

McGee looked skeptical as he waited patiently behind Ziva.

"Gibbs really approved of this?"

Ziva let out a huff and stalked up to the target, pulling her knife out as she spoke with slight frustration.

"Yes, McGee. Why do you keep on asking that?"

"Well because they give us Sigs. for a reason." McGee said with a slight undertone of sassy attitude in his voice, making Abby growl, it was a low noise, enough to get McGee's attention and warning him to get back into his place.

Tony spoke with a mouthful of cereal, something that both Ziva and Abby had failed to see him bring in. "Better watch it, McGee, or you might end up with your organs boiled."

Ziva smirked but quickly hid it.

"In Mossad we have a saying: knives don't run out of bullets. Now any questions pertaining to this particular class?"

Tony took a loud bite of his cereal, knowing it would get on Ziva's nerves. Then he waved his spoon around as he spoke.

"Yeah, I've got one for you. Did you ever kill anyone with a spoon?"

Ziva stepped closer to him until she was looking down at him as he leaned against the same crate with Abby. Ziva suddenly burried the knife into the crate, then she turned back to Tony.

"No, but I am seriously considering it. "

Ziva stepped away from him and addressed the whole class.

"Alright grab your knives."

Ziva then stood before them and demonstrated again.

"So, you come right past your ear, once your arm is fully extended, you release."

Tony took another loud bite of his cereal, Ziva's head cocked to the side and Abby snickered behind her hand quietly, recognizing a sign that Ziva was annoyed with the senior agent.

"Tony!" Ziva spit the word out like it was poison in her mouth.

Tony put down his spoon and stood up straight, he picked up a knife before he walked over to where Ziva had once stood. While Ziva took his place by Abby.

"Alright, watch and learn Probi-sans." Tony cleared his throat and gave Ziva a smug look. Tony threw his knife with force, landing it in the target, right under the center of it.

Ziva's mouth opened slightly in confusion, she hadn't been expecting that.

Tony smirked, walking up to retrieve his knife.

"Five summers at Camp Poke-a-quatic, I'm also a pretty mean clogger."

McGee looked up at Tony with a look that let Tony know that he had just revealed too much and now his friend could use that to make fun of him.

"That doesn't leave this room."

Ziva smirked before she turned to face the man who was walking back to the crate.

"Nobody cares that you spent your summers prancing around in little wooden shoes."

Tony slammed the knife down on the crate and Abby backed up, deciding that way to many things were being slammed on or into the crate. She didn't want to be the result of someone missing the crate and hitting her.

Tony leaned on the crate once more as he spoke to Ziva.

"The term is dancing."

Ziva called McGee up next, without taking her eyes off Tony.

McGee stepped forward and threw the knife just like the first three others, only while Abby's, Ziva's, and Tony's knives had sunk into the target upon impact, McGee's hit the target and bounced away before clamoring to the floor. Both Tony and Abby fought to hide their laughter while Ziva gave him a look of disapproval.

"Math camp?" Tony laughed.

McGee ran forward to retrieve his knife with slight embarrassment.

"Chess, but at least I didn't wear man-clogs."

Tony's face fell and Abby let a small laugh slip as she continued to try to hide her smile. Ziva let her laughter go and so did Lee at McGee's comeback.

"Lee." Ziva called the small woman forth.

The small woman stepped forward, mouthing each of Ziva's instructions as she did so. Her stance was good, however, when she brought the knife up by her ear, the knife didn't stay in her hand like it had for everyone else. Instead the knife continued to travel behind the woman. It stuck in a wooden shelf, narrowly missing Gibbs who was just walking in.

A series of laughter that was forcing it's way out, could be heard from Tony, Abby and McGee. Ziva turned and glared at the three child-like adults, quickly each of them found a different part of the room, suddenly more interesting then before.

Ziva stepped closer to Lee until she could whisper to her.

"I thought you said you grew up around weapons?"

"I did. I didn't say my father actually let me touch any of them."

Ziva inhaled sharply through her nose, bit her lip and nodded.

Ziva stammered for a moment trying to come up with an explanation for her boss, but she was quickly cut off.

"Save it. We've got a dead sailor in Georgetown. Grab your gear."

McGee looked flustered, Gibbs had just ordered Ziva to take photo's of the crime scene while he was forced to bag and tag any maggots he found.

"Ziva, I will pay you a hundred dollars to trade with me."

Ziva let out a small chuckle.

"You're afraid of bugs, McGee?"

"Bugs, no. Uh... Wriggling, faceless, blob creatures crawling inside human flesh, yes."

Ziva continued to look for more evidence to photograph as she spoke.

"Believe it or not, I used to feel the same way."

"How'd you get over it."

Ziva looked up from her camera finally as she spoke with a slight recalling look in her eyes.

"I found, that if your hungry enough, they actually don't taste that bad."

Ziva turned back to her camera and McGee smirked.

"I wonder how Abby would feel about that information."

Ziva let out a small noise of amusement as she smiled without looking up at him.

"She quite enjoyed, the information actually, McGee."

McGee's smirk was quickly replaced with a look of confusion.

"Really?"

Ziva continued to smile as she took more pictures.

"I do not know if you have noticed, McGee, but our dear Abigail is not like other girls."

McGee let out a scoff. ""I'll say."

Ziva let out another noise of amusement.

"She said that she found it quite intriguing. She said that she had never dated someone that had been brave enough to eat larvae before."

McGee rolled his eyes with amusement.

"Gibbs is looking for you." Ziva said as she opened the door to the men's bathroom.

McGee looked to her with a startled expression, then to the man standing at the urinal with a equal expression of shock.

"Um.. Ziva this is the men's room, you can't be in here."

Ziva walked in and stood next to the man at the urinal.

"He wants to know what you found out about the pink ticket."

Ziva finally looked at the man beside her, who had still been starting with a shocked expression. He knew about the forensic scientist and the liaison officer, it was no secret at NCIS, in fact, it was the best gossip that had run through the building in a long time, even the night guards knew about it. He wasn't a fool when it came to the brilliant and deadly forensic scientist or her equally deadly partner. He knew that the Goth, as well as the Israeli, could have an intense and mean streak of jealously, and he didn't intend to get caught on the other end of it.

So when Ziva turned back to McGee if he was trying to wash the bugs off, the man situated himself and left without bothering to wash his hands.

Ziva ignored McGee's plea for her to leave and continued on her self assigned mission.

"He did not wash his hands. Eww." Ziva turned back to McGee. "You need to learn to face you fears, McGee. I can help you with that."

McGee moved to dry his hands and Ziva followed closely.

"I do not need help, okay? I just don't like maggots."

"Why?"

Ziva's question was asked with a curiosity of a child, Abby had definitely been rubbing off on her.

"Much like the concept of the men's room, it's personal."

With that both the agent and the liaison officer left the men's room.

"I hereby accept your challenge. We will meet on the field at dawn." Abby said to her mass spectrometer as if she really was speaking of starting a war, unaware of her visitors as Ziva and McGee walked into her lab."Weapons, caffeine-fueled intellect versus cold silicate-based intelligence. Until then, I bid you a good day, Sir!"

Ziva couldn't help but smile slightly at the tall woman with amusement.

Abby turned around to find McGee and Ziva watching her.

"Hi."

Ziva spoke back you've been caught voice that held amusement in it as well.

"Hi. You talk to your mass spectrometer?"

Abby looked back at the machine then back to her friend and her girlfriend.

"Yeah, sometimes. Why?"

Abby's eyes were child-like and innocent as was her voice as she spoke. It made Ziva's heart warm, to know that the darkness and horror of the world had left this one woman unscathed when it had damaged so many others in it's path.

McGee spoke with a smile on his face and in his voice.

"You challenged it to a duel."

Abby quickly tried to explain herself as the two people before her chuckled.

"Well, it spit out a chemical composition that I'm not familiar with. There has to be some sense of decorum around here. I'm running it through the computer now."

McGee and Ziva moved over to the table that usually held so much evidence that you couldn't see the table beneath it. McGee picked up the pink ticket they had found at the crime scene.

"Well Gibbs is more interested in this. Did you find anything yet?"

Ziva smirked at Abby with a mixture of amusement and caring in her gaze.

Abby turned around and stalked up to the table that the the agent and Israeli stood on the opposite side of.

"When, McGee? If you haven't noticed, I'm the only one here." Abby looked up out of the corner of her eye before she looked down and slowed her speech, an action that Ziva recognized as one that showed Abby was thinking about a particular something instead of a thousand things like she usually was. "Which may be why I started talking to my machines in the first place.."

"Well Abs, I've got to tell him something."

Abby snapped out of her daze and looked back to McGee with amusement in her face and voice.

"Tell him you love him, McGee. It works for me."

Just then Gibbs walked in with a Caf-Pow in hand.

"Not all the time."

"Hi, Gibbs. Just in time. This is the mass-spec on the mystery compounds in Petty Officer Davidson's blood. It's organic and it's definitely what killed him. Meet neriin, oleandrin, and oleandroside."

Gibbs didn't look back as he spoke to McGee, he and Ziva were now standing directly behind Gibbs and Abby.

"Friends of yours Elf Lord?"

Abby immediately protested.

"No Gibbs, they're not characters from Lord of the Rings. They're compounds, found in the Oleander plant."

Ziva watched as a picture of the said plant appeared on Abby's computer screen.

"What drug is made from that?"

Abby looked around Gibbs at Ziva.

"None. It's pure poison."

"Our petty officer didn't O.D." McGee thought aloud.

They all looked to Gibbs as he spoke what they all knew from Abby's findings.

"He was murdered."

McGee followed Gibbs out while Ziva stayed behind.

Abby smiled when Ziva kissed her cheek and hugged her from the side.

"Good job."

Abby continued smiling, but didn't say anything as Ziva left. It may have not seemed like much to others, but the hug, the kiss on the cheek and the "good job", were all affectionate gestures from Ziva. Gestures that were not common from the woman, Ziva had a closed off personality, she feared being hurt, but little by little she was letting Abby work her way farther and farther between the cracks of Ziva's supposedly "impenetrable armor".

"Shakira!" Ziva burst out suddenly as she studied the drawing of the suspect on the plasma, she turned to Tony who was obviously not paying attention. "That's who this police sketch reminds me of. Shakira, yes?"

Tony still didn't look up at her. Ziva narrowed her eyes as she spoke and walked over to Tony's desk.

"You know, the singer?"

Ziva stopped in front of his desk.

"The one who dances like this?"

With that Ziva lifted one hand over her head, moving the other onto her hips, and gyrated her hips in a smooth motion for a few moments, trying to get Tony's attention. Finally, she stopped and let her arms fall to her sides with defeat.

"Your not even listening to me, are you?"

Tony didn't look away from his computer as he made a noise of agreement.

"He wasn't but I definitely was paying attention to you."

Ziva turned around quickly to find Abby watching her from the other side of the flimsy wall-like structure to the side of McGee's desk. Ziva stiffened and opened her mouth and remained silent for a moment, like she was trying to force words out. Finally, Ziva gave up and went for a different word.

"Abigail."

Abby smiled and walked around to the middle of the four desk, Ziva walked forward to meet her. Kissing her on the cheek when she did so.

"So what's going on here?"

Ziva was silent for a moment before she turned back to the plasma.

"I was explaining to Tony, who the police sketch reminded me of."

Abby looked at the sketch with Ziva and chuckled with her mouth closed.

"I can see that."

Ziva decided to take the attention off of herself and she addressed Tony again.

"Look at this police sketch. The Marines said this woman left the bar with Petty Officer Davidson. She could be the killer."

Ziva looked over to Tony who still wasn't paying attention.

"Hey!"

Tony still didn't look up.

"He won't stop ignoring me."

Abby crossed her arms and smirked at Ziva.

"What are you gonna do about it?"

Ziva studied Abby's face for a moment as she slowly ran her tongue along her top layer of teeth. Abby was practically daring her to tease Tony, Ziva was suddenly hit with the realization that this was Abby's way of getting back at her for trying to give Tony a little show. However, Ziva accepted the unspoken challenge, Abby had no idea what she was getting into. Ziva walked over behind Tony and looked back at Abby, hoping the Goth would back down from her unspoken dare. Instead Abby quickly lifted her eyebrow and looked Ziva up and down, as if to say, "You won't do it".

Ziva made her decision and got as close to Tony as she could, bending over and resting her chin on his shoulder, while placing her hand on his desk close to his hand. Ziva noticed that Tony was looking at hotels and locations, pictures of beautifully made rooms and equally beautiful beaches as the sun set.

"Where are we going?"

Ziva asked Tony, knowing that the simple word "we" implying that only she and Tony would be going, would get under Abby's skin. However, Ziva's plan backfired when Tony spoke and didn't play along with her game.

"WE'RE, not going anywhere."

Ziva turned her head slightly and spoke that her lips were brushing his ear.

"Who are you taking? McGee?"

Tony moved his head away from Ziva's with a slight annoyed face, he was planning on taking Jeanne, but he wouldn't tell Ziva that, nor would he get caught up in her game while she was trying to upstage Abby.

Before he could say anything, a man walked up with another shorter man behind him.

"Agent Gibbs around, I brought him an early Valentines Day present."

He nodded to the man next to him, obviously implying that he had something to do with the case.

Ziva stood on one side of detective Carson while Tony stood on the other, all of them waited for Gibbs to start the interrogation.

"He's a junkie. Hangs out in the area where we found your dead sailor. Morris thinks he saw something."

Ziva didn't look back at him as she spoke.

"What do you think, Detective Carson."

The detective grew a smile as he blushed slightly. Tony felt a sudden surge of protectiveness, not for Ziva, but for Abby, however he didn't say anything.

"It's um… it's John. Um… love the accent, by the way. It's Israeli, right?"

With each um and Ziva's new pleased and impressed smile, Tony's blood started to boil even hotter than before.

"Not bad, most people don't recognize it."

Detective Carson's blushed deepened as Ziva turned to him.

" I took a vacation there a couple years ago."

Tony noticed the flirty look on Ziva's face and he finally, decided to take action.

"Look, back off, okay? She's taken."

Detective Carson looked stunned and so did Ziva, but only for a brief moment before her face changed to one of defensiveness.

"What is wrong? You have no need to act like that."

Tony crossed his arms.

"Yeah well I do when your flirting with some strange man and you have a girlfriend."

Ziva knew he was right, but she wouldn't back down to Tony.

"Abigail can take care of herself Tony, she doesn't need you to spy on me."

"Yeah, well, she can't exactly look out for herself if she doesn't know what's going on behind her back!"

At that Ziva's own blood reached it's boiling point. She pressed her hand against his shoulder and forced his body against the wall.

"Are you accusing me of cheating on her? Cause if you are, you are wrong, Tony. I would never hurt her like that, and why would be unfaithful when I have her, she's all I need, Tony."

Tony pushed Ziva's hand off of him.

"I'll be keeping you to that, if you hurt her, Ziva, you won't be able to hide from me. She's been hurt before and I won't watch it happen again."

Ziva watched as he turned back to the glass as the interrogation started. Ziva left the room, realizing that Tony had acted like that for a reason, he thought she was still trying to push Abby's dare as far as she could. Ziva hurried to the elevator, and pressed the button that would lead her to Abby's lab, she had to apologize so that Abby knew she would never push it that far.

Ziva rushed into the lab the moment the elevator door's opened. Abby turned around and started to question what Ziva was doing down in her lab, but she was quickly cut off when Ziva's lips were on her own and both of Ziva's hands grasped each side of her face.

Abby looked bewildered when Ziva pulled back only a slight distance to meet Abby's gaze.

"I wan't you and only you, understand?"

Abby nodded and Ziva kissed her again, this time Ziva's lips were softer against Abby's and her thumb softly stroked Abby's cheek for a moment, before she pulled back again.

"I have to go back up to observation."

Ziva left and ran back to the elevator, leaving Abby to stand there stunned with her fingertips on her lips.

"It's almost unfair, interrogating junkies." Tony said as the man finally slipped up in his story.

"Like shooting fish in a pond." Ziva agreed.

Carson laughed and gestured to Ziva.

"I um... think you mean fish in a barrel."

Ziva turned to him with a disapproving look. He was still trying to flirt with her and he knew she had a girlfriend, some men just never learned.

"Why would a fish be in a barrel?"

Carson was taken back by the chill in her tone, but he quickly tried to recover and get back into the game.

"Um… I um… it's a good point. I never really thought about it before."

Ziva gave him a cold look out of the corner of her eye.

"Mm-hmm."

Ziva saw a flash of an approving smile cross Tony's face out of the corner of her eye and she couldn't fight the small smile that made its way to her face quickly before it left. She had fixed what had almost broken.

Carson sat on the edge of Gibbs desk, closer to Ziva than she liked, and when he spoke he seemed to be trying to get her attention.

"One Club's been on our radar for the last year. Drugs, illegal gambling, prostitution."

Ziva spoke without looking up from her computer.

"Why haven't you breasted them?"

At Carson's confused look Tony cleared up what she had said.

"She means busted."

Ziva finally looked up at him.

"Oh, yes. Yes, busted. Sorry."

Ziva looked back at her computer as Carson started to smile charmingly at her once more. He almost spoke, but luckily Detective Morris arrived and interrupted him.

"It's a private club. We can't get in to get enough evidence for a warrant."

Ziva didn't look up from her computer once again as she spoke.

"Why not raid it? If they're doing half of what you think they are, you'll find evidence."

"Not without a warrant, last time I damn near lost my badge."

As Carson started speaking again Ziva zoned out and tried to find a way to communicate with Tony without making it too obvious, so that she could ask him how to get Detective Carson to leave her alone.

Luckily Gibbs walked in, but kept walking, immediately Tony and Ziva got up and followed.

"You two waiting for an engraved invite, he said to Detective Morris and Carson when they hesitated to follow.

Ziva and Tony stepped out first, both of them making their way to each side of Abby who was standing in front of her evidence table with a boot and many other objects on it. Ziva kissed Abby's cheek and smiled at her fondly, hoping Detective Carson would get the hint as he, Detective Morris and Gibbs came in and stood on the opposite side of the table.

When they were all gathered around the table, Abby started her presentation, focusing on the boot.

"On the surface it's a moderately priced Italian knockoff, but on the inside of the heel a portable pharmacy." Abby slid the bottom of the heel to the side revealing a small compartment with tiny pink pills in it. "Twenty-four tablets of Ecstasy."

Ziva smiled with pride at the Goth's findings.

"Well, that could have gotten him through the door." Concluded Detective Morris.

Gibbs looked down at the pills that Abby had poured into the tray.

"That's a good job, Abby."

Abby quickly spoke up.

"Oh, that was just the warm-up act, Gibbs." Abby turned and started walking backwards toward her back office, signaling for the rest of them to follow. "The real show is in here, with McGee."

McGee started to speak the moment Gibbs entered the room.

"Boss, this card was definitely planted at the crime scene."

Abby agreed as she stood next to McGee.

"They wanted us to find it."

"Well how do you figure that?" Morris questioned.

Abby quickly started to explain.

"Well, the blood stain was intentionally put underneath the lamination."

"A human blood stain." McGee put in quickly.

Detective Morris was quick to object.

"Well, that doesn't prove that it was planted."

McGee was just as quick to defend both his and Abby's findings.

"They wanted us to take the card out of the plastic."

"And who's they?"

Suddenly, Gibbs jumped in.

"Stop interrupting and listen."

"They being the person or persons, who killed Petty Officer Davidson." McGee explained.

Abby smiled and took over.

"Okay, here's where it gets weird. And when I say weird, I mean like the sick and creepy kind of weird. Not the good weird, because I'm a big fan of that."

Ziva smiled as Abby began to rant, only to be cut off by Gibbs.

"Abby."

Abby quickly got back on track and started handing out pairs of orange goggles.

"Um… all right. You're going to need these."

McGee walked away and Abby situated the now larger pink card in the middle of the table.

"Alright, McGee, hit the lights!"

As soon as the lights went out and Abby turned on the ultra-violet light, a message was clearly seen written by someone's finger on the card. EXPECT MORE, it read.

"We sprayed the card with Luminal to look for more blood splatter. And instead, we found this."

Ziva leaned closer to get a better look at the card.

"It's written in blood."

"I'd say that's creepy." Tony said.

"Do you think, DiNozzo?" Gibbs questioned him.

Abby turned off the ultra-violet light and Ziva took off the goggles before moving to stand on the other side of Abby where McGee had previously been standing.

"Good job, Abs."

With that Gibbs started to leave with everyone else following, except for Ziva.

"Gibbs, do you mind if I stay down here with Abby for a little bit?"

Gibbs didn't even look back at her and kept walking as he spoke.

"Better be back up soon."

With that Ziva waited until everyone left, before she turned to Abby.

"I am impressed, how did you find that?"

"What can I say, I'm just that good."

Ziva wrapped her arms around Abby's waste and pressed her body against Abby's from behind. Ziva placed a small kiss on the spot where Abby's shoulder met her neck.

"Yes, you are."

Abby pulled out of Ziva's embrace with a smile, when she turned to the woman.

"You are being very affectionate today, what's going on?"

"I can not be affectionate with my girlfriend for no reason now?"

The look on Ziva's face told Abby all she needed to know.

"No, you can, it's just that it's not like you to be all touchy-feely with me, especially in a public place. What do you want?"

Ziva pouted and cocked her head to the side before she finally gave in when Abby didn't break.

"Okay fine, this Detective Carson likes me, I accidentally flirted with him, but Tony caught me and alerted me of what I had done, I stopped, but unfortunately he has not."

Abby sighed and leaned against the metal table with one hand while placing the other on her hip.

"Do you want me to tell him off?"

Ziva smiled.

"No, I thought that I could use a good cleansing of him. Valentines Day is coming up and I have heard and learned that this holiday is big in America for couples. I wanted to ask you if you would come away with me for Valentines Day weekend?"

Ziva's eyes pleaded with her and Abby quickly found herself smiling, but she decided to keep Ziva hanging.

"I don't know... Where would we go?"

"I know about this little place, that has a great view of the water."

"Your beating around the bush. Where is this place."

Ziva bit her lip.

"Its a long plane flight from her, but-

"Ziva!"

Ziva was quiet for a moment.

"Greece."

Abby scoffed.

"Greece."

Abby started to shake her head.

"No, no that's too expensive. I know Valentines Day is about giving each other gifts, but even if we split the price, it's still too expensive."

Abby started to clean everything up, but Ziva grabbed her wrist to stop her.

"What if I told you I didn't have to pay a dame?"

"First of all I'd tell you it's dime not dame. Then I'd tell you that your crazy and you've made this all up in your mind, cause there's no way you travel all the way to Greece, get a place with an amazing view, travel all the way back and not pay a dime."

Ziva smirked. "I called up some people that owed me favors."

Abby was quite for a while, but then she leaned down and placed a kiss on Ziva's lips.

"Greece, it is then."

Just as Gibbs exited the elevator, Detective Morris stopped him.

"We need to talk Gibbs."

Gibbs stopped and both men walked back into the elevator.

"Should we call the paramedics?" Detective Carson asked Ziva.

"No need. If they fight, it will be to the death."

Ziva voice held no emotion as she spoke to him.

"Alright, what did I do wrong?"

Ziva looked at him with confusion.

"I thought we were hitting it off, I like you, you liked me-

"I did not like you the way you thought I did, Detective Carson, I'm sorry if I misled you."

Detective Carson let out a whine.

"Well why don't you like me?"

Ziva laughed and got up before moving to stand in front of him.

"Detective Carson, I am going to be as clear as I can be with you. I have a girlfriend who I care very much about, I do not plan on breaking up with her anytime soon and she stops me from feeling romantic feelings for anyone else because it is simply impossible to have those feelings for anyone else besides her."

Detective Carson looked dejected. His confident and cocky demenor gone.

"I see. I didn't mean to be a problem-

"Not to be rude, Detective Carson, but you were not a problem, you were simply a pest, it takes a lot more than you to break what Abby and I have."

Detective Carson was quiet for a moment before he spoke.

"You two have been through a lot, haven't you?"

Ziva stopped typing on her computer as memories came flooding back. Ziva was quiet for a long time before she finally spoke.

"A year ago, I shot someone who was special to me, for her, because that person shot someone who was special to her. A little while after that, Gibbs left for a bit, Abby fell apart, but I was there waiting to put her back together again. However this was all before we were together as a couple, so yes, you could say we've been through a lot together."

"This is really weird." Abby said as she continued to look at her computer while Ziva looked around at all of the black and red "Valentines Day" decorations and many gifts that Abby had received.

"I would agree. What exactly is this?" Ziva asked as she picked up the a doll with chicken for legs.

"It's a chick-e-baby. My friend makes them."

"Should I be worried that your getting Chick-e-babies from your friend? And why exactly does she make them?"

"No, your taking me to Greece this weekend, what can be a better gift then that and for Valentines Day."

Ziva put the Chick-e-baby down with a still confused look.

"I think I may be confusing this holiday with another."

Abby was about to say something when Gibbs walked in and asked her what she had.

"Oh, I'm not sure, yet." Gibbs walked over interrupting her as he handed her a caf-pow with a straw that had a heart on it, on the heart in cursive writing it said :I Love you. Abby smiled at it. "I got a partial match on the blood the killer used to write his calling card."

"Who is he?"

A picture of a woman with information popped up on Abby's computer just as he asked.

"He's a she."

"Our Petty Officer's murderer is a woman." Ziva told Gibbs as Abby looked closer at the information.

"I don't think so..."

Ziva's eyebrows raised at Abby's words.

"You don't think a woman can kill and leave a calling card?"

Abby could tell by Ziva's face that she was ready to tell Abby many stories about all the missions that she had been on, though Abby had heard a lot of them already. Abby quickly stopped her from doing so by continuing and letting Ziva know that that was not what she meant.

"Not this one. She was murdered, two months ago."

They were all gathered in the squad room, all of them except for Tony. Ziva stood next to Abby as they watched Detective Morris work at McGee's desk.

"Sandra Thompson. Age twenty-four. Arrested seven times for prostitution. Found murdered in Canal Park. December twenty-fourth."

Abby let out a sad sound beside Ziva.

"Ah, Christmas Eve. Sad."

"No day is a good day to be stabbed twenty-two times, Ms. Sciuto."

Ziva wanted to hit the man, he wasn't going to make Abby feel better if he spoke that way. Ziva decided to try to lighten the situation.

"At least she didn't feel anything. All the wounds were post-mortem."

McGee leaned over to look at his computer.

"What killed her?"

Detective Morris read the answer before he gave it.

"She O. D. 'd on something called neriin." He mispronounced it.

Abby leaned over and corrected the pronunciation.

"Neriin. An oleandroside. That's the same thing that killed the Petty Officer."

"That would have been nice to know two days ago, Detective." Gibbs said from his desk.

Ziva felt the tension rise between the Detective and Gibbs, Ziva instinctively stepped in front of Abby, keeping her hidden and safe from harm even though there wasn't actually any, Ziva however followed everything her instincts told her to do when it came to Abby, there was no taking chances or risk.

The two men exchanged words as they argued. Abby who was hidden behind Ziva, rested her head on the woman's shoulder, seeking some kind of ground, she didn't like it when Gibbs go angry, it always made her feel like a small child. Ziva grabbed Abby's hand to reassure her that she was safe. McGee's voice mixed with the two men's and Abby wrapped her arm around Ziva's waist, Ziva grabbed that hand, intertwined their fingers before bringing Abby's hand to her lips and kissing it. She was Abby's rock, her ground, her shield and her warrior and she didn't intend to let anything hurt the Goth. However, Abby was her air, she was her gravity and her sunlight, Abby was something Ziva had grown into and now she couldn't and wouldn't be able to live without her. This both scared and comforted Ziva at times.

Gibbs pulled the paper out of the phax machine and placed it on his desk, it was the picture of the bloody shoe print.

"Here, look at the outside edges. Did you ever read MAD Magazine?"

Both Ziva and Detective Morris said no, McGee and Abby on the other hand were a different story.

"Until my mom found them and burned them in the yard."

Abby studied the picture, then she suddenly reached forward with realization in her eyes.

"Oh, my god! It's exactly like the back cover of MAD Magazine!"

Abby folded the print perfectly so that the indents in the boot made two word instead of just a shape.

"Dead whore?" Detective Morris asked.

"The shoe print's not a mistake, J.D. It's a message." Gibbs explained.

Abby quickly gave an example.

"Like expect more written on the pink card."

"Which was also written in Sandra Thompson's blood." Ziva added.

"We're dealing with a serial killer." Gibbs elaborated.

Detective Morris still seemed confused.

"If it's a serial killing, shouldn't your dead sailor be a whore?"

"Let me help you." Ziva said as she came up behind Abby who was sitting down and doing her makeup.

Ziva grabbed two hair ties and a brush before she started fixing Abby's hair into two pigtails.

Abby looked in the mirror at Ziva was fully dressed. She had a high bun, a deep red lipstick, black high heels, a short black dress that almost showed off Ziva's underwear it was so short, and a long flowing coat with pretty little designs all over it.

"Well don't you look yummy?" Abby said with a smile.

Ziva smiled and finished the pigtails. She leaned down and kissed Abby's cheek. When she stood back up she kept her hands wresting on Abby's shoulders.

"I can defiantly say the same about you." Ziva leaned back down and kissed behind Abby's ear before whispering to her. "I can not wait to get to Greece, where I can have you all to myself."

Abby laughed at this.

Ziva reached forward and grabbed Abby's caller off of the sink before buckling it around Abby's neck. Lee watched from where she was getting dressed as Abby stood up and held her hands out. Ziva grabbed them in her own and balanced Abby while the Goth stepped into a pair of heels. Abby grabbed the deep red shawl and wrapped it around herself. It complemented the black dress that was equally as short as Ziva's, though Abby's showed off way more cleavage.

"How do I look?" Abby asked Ziva with a smile.

Ziva cupped Abby's face with a smile.

"You look gorgeous, just like you always do."

Abby smiled and kissed Ziva's lips quickly.

"Sweet talker."

Abby then adjusted the hidden ear mic, it wasn't exactly comfortable and it blocked out any sound that didn't come from the mic itself.

Lee smiled at the two women who seemed to be total opposites yet they were perfect for each other. One could feel the love and caring that was emitted off of the two women, just by standing in the same room as them.

"How do you do it?

Abby and Ziva looked over at her.

"Do what?" Abby asked with genuine curiosity.

As Lee started to speak, Abby noticed a kink in the back Ziva's hair and silently spun her around so that she could fix it with a bobby pin.

"I've seen couples that have been together for two years and they still don't have the same chemistry or love for each other that you two do. How do you do it?"

"Ow!" Ziva let out as Abby accidentally went to far with the bobby pin.

"Sorry." Abby apologized immediately, but she continued on her way to fix Ziva's hair.

Ziva answered the question as Abby fixed her hair.

"Well, I found that I had to work to even get this to be a relationship, Abby didn't exactly like me very much when I first arrived at NCIS, but over time I got her to see that I wasn't that bad of a person."

Abby smiled and finished fixing Ziva's hair and wrapped her arms around Ziva's waist.

"Yes, she charmed her way into my heart."

Ziva smiled and cupped Abby's cheek as Abby kissed hers.

Abby pulled back after a few moments, easing her hold on Ziva, but not entirely letting her go.

"We've put work into it and as long as we keep doing that, I think we'll be fine. Now come on, McGee's waiting in the limo."

Ziva slid into the limo after Abby and Lee had, then McGee climbed in and sat opposite from the girls. The whole ride, Abby failed to notice the velvet flooring, or the warmed leather seats, or anything else for that matter except for Ziva. She kept her eyes on the Israeli woman the whole time, her hand on Ziva's bare thigh and Ziva's hand covering her own. The kept whispering to each other and would occasionally exchange a quick kiss.

McGee watched this go on for a while, until her finally let his curiosity get the best of him.

"What are you two whispering about?"

Both of the women looked up at him, as if they had just noticed he was there. Abby spoke first.

"Valentines Day plans."

McGee gave her a confused look.

"Today is Valentines Day and it's already night."

Abby smiled.

"Okay, Valentines Day weekend plans."

McGee smiled, "Anything special planned?"

Abby looked to Ziva who gave her a nod, then Abby looked back to McGee.

"We're going to Greece. Where taking a few days off so that we can actually spend time there instead of traveling there and traveling back."

McGee was about to say something, but the limo stopped and the door opened. Ziva slid out first, a series of catcalls and camera flashes met her. Abby followed her out and was met by the same treatment. Lee slid out then McGee.

Ziva and Abby each took one of McGee's arms. He started to speak to Gibbs before walking forward with Abby in Ziva following every step, Lee however was slightly farther behind. Ziva looked over her shoulder at the awkward woman.

"Lee, can you please pretend you want to be here with us?"

"I'm trying. Please, I don't know where your Sig is, but I'm having trouble walking."

Abby smiled at this and tightened her grip on McGee's arm and reached out for Lee's.

"Snuggle up, Lee. It's fun."

McGee stepped up to the bouncer who asked him for his name.

"Thom E. Gemcity."

The bouncer smiled.

"I thought I recognized you, Deep Six, right?"

McGee nodded with a smile.

"That's the one."

The bouncer smiled and lifted the velvet rope.

"I'm a big fan, go right in."

"Thank you."

The moment they were all safely in the club, Abby and Ziva let go of McGee and replaced his arm with each others. It was something Ziva had told Abby to do, she wasn't letting her out of her sight.

"Good girl, Ziver." Abby heard Gibbs say over the ear mic.

Ziva smiled and Abby rolled her eyes. McGee and Lee stepped away from the girls.

"Where gonna look for her over here, you search over there."

Abby and Ziva nodded and did just that, only their search was in vain and they knew it when they started hearing gunshots over the ear mic.

"Gibbs what's going on?" Abby asked through her teeth as she kept the smile, not wanting to alert anyone who might be watching.

Abby got no answer as the gunshots stopped. Abby and Ziva quickly made their way to the back of the club, exiting and finding a dead woman and a dead man as well as a shot Detective Carson. Gibbs, Tony, and Detective Morris were all standing over him and he didn't seem to be breathing. Both Abby and Ziva stayed put at the top of the stairs. Abby looked up from the crime scene toward the sound of sirens coming from down the street.

Abby lifted the boot from the paper, leaving behind the print in ink. Abby spoke in a soft and disappointed voice.

"I should have caught this, guys."

Ziva sat across the table with McGee.

"Metro had the bloody print for two months. They didn't catch him." McGee tried to reason with him.

"Yeah, but I had Petty Officer Davidson's boot the whole time."

Ziva decided to take a turn at trying to make Abby feel better.

"You thought the Petty Officer was the victim, not the killer, Abby."

Abby turned the print around so that both McGee and Ziva could see it. DEAD WHORE, was clearly seen in the middle of the print.

"There's no excuse."

McGee let out a heavy sigh, before he spoke up again.

"It's ironic, isn't it? Serial killer forced to drink his own poison."

Abby and Ziva both waited for him to continue, wondering what he was getting at.

"That could make a good book."

Abby smiled at him. She then leaned over and hit his shoulder with the boot. Ziva let out a laugh as Abby chuckled. Ziva spoke through held back laughter.

"If you do make another book, I do hope you will update the change in the relationship between Lisa and Amy. It is quite obvious that now, she isn't interested in Tommy."

Abby laughed at this and McGee smiled.
