Eren…

Eren thought he heard whispers in his head but he set his priorities quickly, "now is not the time to daydream!" he thought again and noticed a giant shadow coming towards him.

The Colossal Titan again sent his hand in an attempt to smash Eren on the wall.

"Damn!" said Eren aloud when he shot his grappling hook on the underside of the giant hand who tried to end his life and pulled himself onto the huge shoulder.

The Colossal Titan sent the hand that Eren was on to the wall quickly.

Craashshhh!

The powerful hit broke about 5 from the cannons that were placed on top of the wall.

Eren stared in surprise at the events in front of him ", he destroyed the cannons!?, then the attack on the wall wasn't a coincidence, this thing possesses intelligence!" he thought in horror when he saw the eyes of Titan moved from the wall and landed on him and he saw the hand of the Colossal Titan sent at him in an attempt to squash him like a bug. "!" He thought as he sent the grappling hook and used it to slide to the other arm and from there directly into his neck.

Eren saw the goal of every soldier, the same spot they taught them all this time, the only weakness of the Titans. Their neck!

Eren was seconds from taking the Titan that made a loss of so much of life and people who have lost their lives "now!" he exclaimed as he prepares himself for the kill.

"What?" said Eren in panic he saw the huge neck that he was planning to strike began to move to the right side so Eren's blade missed his point in a few meters and got stuck in the muscles and skin of the Titan.

He tried to pull the blades from his flesh that refused to let go and had him in place no matter how hard he tried to free them.

"What the hell! Let go!, Ah!" he spotted the monster that sent two giant hands to try to grab him quickly.

Eren shook his jaw and freed his blades and grappled to the front of the neck of the Titan and from there to the front of the Titan.

"I need to slow it down before I could hit it, but how?" he thought quickly when the giant creature tried again to get Eren out of the air like a fly, causing Eren to begin and run on the arm of the Colossal Titan.

The titan kicked his hand into the air with a lot of force in an attempt to get his Eren off him, but Eren already gotten used to the attempts of the Titan and grappled himself to the enormous Chin that was in front of him.

"Now!" Eren thought as he shoot his grappling hook to the Titan's forehead just above one of his eyes and before the monster could see he skewered his blades in the Colossal Titan's right eye that was big like him, "eat this!" he shouted.

The massive Titan was totally surprised to see the one who caused him so much trouble now was responsible for the lost of half of his vision. He quickly covered his right eye with his right hand and Eren could see from where he moved to that the titan could still see him from his left eye than watched him from bound his giant fingers.

"Good I have about sixty seconds or less before he comes back to himself, I need to finish this now!" he thought as he moved quickly with the Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear along the shoulder of the titan and toward his target again in an attempt to kill "I only have one chance!"

"What!" he cried when he saw that the two hands were trying to crash him again and this time they were closer to him than last time. "He fooled me!" thought Eren in a panic that he realized he would not come out of it un-scratch and prepared himself to what might come and how to avoid it.

But he saw the titan slowed down the movement of his right hand and sent her back to his face.

"What now?" he asked himself as he moved from second hand that still threatened to reach him and returned to the Titan's shoulder.

"Eren are you ok?" Connie asked his friend.

Eren saw that Connie came up to him while Sasha distracted the Titan from her team members.

"Sorry I'm late Eren!" said the bald boy ", me and Sasha had to take Samuel from the wall to a safe place!" finished the boy.

A smile full of determination appeared on Eren's face when he saw his two friends fighting with him. "Just in time! now we can win!" said the green eyed boy with a sparkle in his eyes. "Can you two hold it from me for a few seconds?" he asked his teammate.

"Just for a few seconds? Who do you think you're talking to Eren!" he said with a smile ", I am the eighth best after all!" he finished with a smile full of teeth and immediately grappled himself into direction of Sasha.

"Sasha!" cried the bold boy. "Let's play catch with him while Eren finishes him off!"

"Catch?! He can crush us! "Said the potato lover as she continued to slip through the fingers of the titan.

"Sasha he is one and slow and we are fast! we can do it!" said the boy as he joined his crew member and toke the heat off her.

Eren continued to try and get close enough to harm the Titan but to no avail as the giant creature kept his hand close to the neck, hoping to catch the boy.

Seeing that Eren still wasn't able to attack "Eren what's taking you?!" he shouted.

"I can't attack! his second hand stops me from moving ahead!" shouted Eren in frustration.

"I've got it!" exclaimed Sasha causing Connie to look at her.

The bald-headed boy saw his teammate advanced rapidly into the giant Titan's jaw that began to open.

"What are you doing?" he cried out in fear ", Sasha!"

Sasha came more and more into an enormous mouth that threatened to swallow her. "Now!" she yelled and grappled to his left eye and tore it into pieces with the blades in her hands.

The Titan was holding his face in his hands from the instinct and left his neck unprotected.

"Eren now!" exclaimed Sasha in all her power as she moved away from the titan's face.

Eren was in a moment in-front of the Titan and was holding both blades in both arms while spinning rapidly with momentum, "eat it!" he shouted.

The Colossal Titan stopped moving for a second before steam starting coming out of the Titan's body in a rapid rate.

"W-what's going on?" said Sasha and Connie together.

"W-what the hell?" said Eren while trying with every power he had to stay close to the creature that releases smoke and white steam. "Ohhh!" shouted Eren and began to pull himself to his target.

Siink!

Eren felt he did not hit anything.

"W-what?" Eren said in surprise as he started to fall rapidly to the ground. He picked himself up and pulled to the wall with the guns and the remaining tracks on it.

"Eren! What the hell happened?" asked Connie as he and Sasha stopped in front of Eren ", did you kill it?"

Eren stared at the spot where stood the Colossal Titan before he disappeared in an instant as he arrived. "No I didn't its just like five years ago! but it doesn't matter now!" he told his two friends and pointed to the large hole in the wall.

"What are you doing?!" cried a voice behind them.

The three of them turn around only to see someone from Headquarters who just arrived and saluted him "move quickly to HQ and give them an update on what happened with the Colossal Titan and wait for orders!" he said angrily as it was obvious on his face as he was gone.

"We need to inform HQ, and fast!" he said and got the consent of Sasha and Connie as the three began to move quickly toward their headquarters.

Eren and his training friends stood in several rows in a dark room that were lit bay torches across it. Many people were in the room as the panic was clear on their faces. After all, who would have expected something like this to happen?

Eren, Sasha and Connie already reported to their superiors of what had happened with the Colossal Titan that broke through the wall, and got released to go and help with the defense of the city while the civilians are to clear and go to the internal walls.

They just finished getting their orders.

Eren was with Armin, Thomas and three other trainees that he didn't know so well beside their names. They just finished filling their gas tanks and blades.

Armin was stressed beyond anything Eren was used to and tried to calm the terrified blond boy and get some sense in to him.

And eventually they moved to a huge lineup that consisted of the new trainees and guardians of the walls, the one to brief them was a bearded man that looked about thirty plus with bags under his eyes. He didn't look like someone who should give orders to Eren, especially with high voice and his fragile appearance, but Eren as many others have learned to take orders from the highest in the chain of command.

"You will be responsible for information, cleaning titans from the streets and clearing civilians!" he cried.

His high voice sounded throughout the lineup while he continued to shout where each of the units will be and what the situation on the ground. Eren could see that many of his friends and even more some from the veterans looked like they were going to pass out, and many of them seemed to want their legs to run as long as they have power in them.

He could understand why they were so afraid to go out on their own, but they didn't go alone. They were with their friends and other fighters. It was something that amazed and annoyed him.

And finally he told them that the big unit that he sent to stop the titans from entering the city was completely destroyed and that titans invaded the city. "And we're in a situation that the armored titan can appear in any moment! "He finished.

Eren felt his stomach turning inside his body. "The armored titan" he said in a whisper. He still remembered the huge monster that brook itself one of the walls without any problem and nothing could stop him.

He began to hear murmurs from the people around him.

"T-the armored titan!?"

"W-what we are supposed to do if he shows up?"

"If R-Rose-should fall..."

"Quiet!" cried the same commander, causing all to stop the whispering of a second. "We are currently holding them as much as we can, we have only one purpose, to protect wall Maria and the protection of the citizens until the evacuation is completed!" He paused for a moment to take some air ", and finally, I'm sure you're all aware that running away from the enemy is a crime against the capital! Strengthen your will and offer your life!" he cried "dismissed".

"Yes Sir!" they called.

Panic was around Eren everywhere he looked to, but he was looking for someone specific. He had to see Annie before he set out on the mission.

"Where is she?" he thought.

He saw on his side down the road Marco who tried to calm Jean who was on the ground but decided to leave the tall boy and find the blonde that was in his thoughts.

"Eren there you are!" said someone who approached him.

"Mikasa", he said as he saw his step-sister.

The black haired girl seemed very concerned for him, "are you okay?" she asked, and checked his body with her eyes to see he's still intact.

"I'm fine, you have nothing to worry about!" he said and kept looking around to see where Annie is.

The girl with the red scarf approached Eren and gripped his hand ", Eren, if something happens, find me" she said in her normal speaking voice.

"Ah? but aren't we in other units?." he said puzzled not getting what she said.

She said but this time her voice changed to one of concern "based on the situation, things can change" she looked into his eyes ", I will protect you".

"What are you talking about?" asked Eren in anger. "Does she think I can't defend myself? or she thinks I'm not strong as her?" these thoughts kept running in his head before he heard a voice behind them.

"Recruit Ackeman! You have been specially selected to be part of the civil guard, follow me!" said a Commander with short blond hair that came behind them.

"..." She was silent for a few seconds while looking at the commander", with my ability, I would be a nuisance!" she said with her stoic voice.

"I didn't ask your opinion!" he said in a demanding voice "until the evacuation is done we need as many of our best near residential areas" he finished and walked away even without waiting for her answer with a hidden smile on his face.

"But I!" the girl started to say before the boy who was in-front of her violently headbutted her.

Mikasa looked at the boy who was always in her head as he just left a little red mark on her head ", E-Eren?" she asked in surprise as she held the place he hit her.

"That's enough!" he said to Mikasa in anger and looked into her eyes. "What are you doing Mikasa?!, we can't allow you to panic!".

She dropped her head to the floor in shame.

"We're all in danger!, how dare you think about yourself in a time like this!" he finally let his built anger out and looked at his step-sister.

She lifted her head and looked at him "sorry...I wasn't thinking clearly". She said weakly and not how she is normally.

Eren was about to go and join his unit before Mikasa caught his hand ",I have only one request...Please, don't die" she said weakly, but clear enough for him to hear and understand what was she thinking.

But even if he understood how she felt, he couldn't show weakness in front of her as he just released her grip that was much weaker than he thought and just showed his back and continued to go to his squad ",I won't die!" he thought to himself.

Mikasa was left to stand there without moving at all when her hair flying in the wind but still hiding her eyes from a certain blond commander who came to pick her up.

"Now follow me, I will not say again!" he said with a smile on his face.

He stopped when he saw that the black haired girl looked at him without any emotions "if something happens to him...I will kill you" she said without any change on her face and began to walk past him.

The Commander's face frond when he looked at the back of the girl "we will see..." He thought to himself and began to advance after Mikasa.

Eren and his small unit which consisted of him and five others were in the city that was empty of people. They were supposed to meet with some of the other units be now. "Where are the others?, were not late are we?" said Thomas as he turned to his friends.

Armin got the others attention "that can't be possible...look" he said and pointed to some roofs of the houses away from them as they saw black smoke and shapes walk around.

"T-titans!" said one of the guys as he took a step back and looked to Armin ",so what are we supposed to do?" he asked.

The blond didn't respond and just set down while he continued to look at the shapes of the Titans.

"What are you so scared for!" said one of the new people who joined the Division. "If we attack them one after another and always stay close there's no way we can lose!" he finished with a smile and immediately after just used his Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear to advance quickly to the Titans ",after me!" he called.

"What are you doing?!" yelled Eren while watching the moving boy.

"Damn!" said Eren while he decided to go after the other boy despite the bad feeling he felt in his stomach.

The Group continued following the same boy who was gone when they weren't looking ",something seems strange" Eren thought while looking from side to side trying desperately to see what made him so paranoid.

He finally spotted a titan on a rooftops like a spider until it noticed them.

Eren saw in a second as the titan shot himself from the roof "an abnormal!, move!" he cried aloud while he took Armin up with him to one of the large roofs.

"Everyone's okay?" he shouted to his teammates but nobody answered the question. They just look at the Titan which crashed on one of the houses.

The Titan has shown his face to Eren and his group, in the Monster's mouth was something...No, someone.

Everyone was shocked when they saw Thomas still alive as he moved with a confused and horrored expression.

The Titan finally swallowed Thomas with a sick sound and just came down from the roof and began to walk away from three boys without stopping.

"W-what are you doing". Eren started saying as he remembered the lessons and the times he spent with his blond friend that just got eaten in front of them like he was nothing! "Where do you think you're going!" the Green eyed boy shouted angrily and used his Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear to fly to the monster that ended the life of his friend in a blind rage.

At the evacuation zone at the same time...

The evacuation took longer than expected, a number of traders shut up the evacuation gate with wagons pulled by horse that were just too big to move without getting stuck and stopped the evacuation of civilians.

Loud steps could be heard across the gate and caused people to choke with fear, as all finally saw the creature moving about strangely but very fast.

Screams were heard throughout the gate when people started to trample each other in an attempt to pass the gate and be saved from the Titan that continue to advance without anything that stands in his way.

Three soldiers from the military police attempted to pull the Titan's from the audience but to no avail. "What the hell! It's just too fast!" said one while all of them were trying to reach the Titan and kill it before they lost the lives of the citizens.

Zzzzzssssst!

Out of nowhere, a black and red colored Flash passed over the three and advances so quickly that it reached the titan in an instant and just cut at its neck without any problems.

The titan fell to the ground a couple of meters away from the crowd who were shocked to see the Titan falls and starts to smoke, from the smoke came the shape of a black-haired girl with a red scarf which stood impressively on the huge head that was on the floor and jumped up to the ground.

"What are you doing here?" she asked the crowd of people.

"Perfect timing!, make those people to help push! I will pay you nicely!" Said one of the fat traders.

The black-haired girl pointed her blade at the city behind her ",my friends and family are still fighting now, because the evacuation is delayed, they fight and die" she finished with pain that was visible on her face.

The trader opened his mouth again ",of course they should!, it's your duty to offer your life to protect our lives and property, is it not?!" he continued while waving his hands in the air ",don't get full of yourself just because you freeloaders are finally doing your job after a hundred years!.

The eyes of a certain red scarf lover were hidden by her black hair as she progressed through the crowd that moved backwards and let her pass with her blades in hand.

"You think it's natural for people to die for others, so I'm sure you can understand, that at times, the sacrifice of a single life can save many others" she said and continued to move at his direction.

The pig began to sweat as some of his employees stood in front of him in an attempt to protect him from Mikasa ",just try something!" he shouted in anger. "Your employer and I have known each other for many years!, you have no idea how easy it would be for me to order someone like you around!" said the fat pig as his employees started running to Mikasa who simply knocked them out with her blades and finally stood in-front the same trader.

Mikasa's eyes drilled holes and made him feel like an insect in front of her ",how could a corpse be speaking?" she said without any change on her face and grabbed her blade about to cut him into pieces.

"W-wait!" he cried in a frightened voice as her blade was against his neck as it drew a couple drops of his blood sliding down his neck where the blade cut him.

The black haired girl continued to look at him without any change to her face, he realized that if he didn't stopped her his head would be rolling on the floor near his feet.

"B-boss..." Said hesitatingly one of his employees who began to sweat.

"M-move the cart out of the way!" said the pig who appreciate his life.

Within a few seconds the workers with a little help from civilians moved the cart and cleared the gate allowing the civilians safe passage.

"Big sister!" said a little girl who was accompanied by her mother ",thank you for saving us!" she said with a smile.

"Thanks to you we are safe" the mother and her girl bowed to Mikasa.

Mikasa smiled to the little girl and salute her, but his smile wasn't just for the girl, it was because the evacuation finally was completed. She could go and help Eren!.

Rain began to fall as she moved past the smoking body of the Titan that was eliminated, she noticed the same blond Commander that who waited for her on a rooftop near Titan's body.

A few minutes later the bells rang throughout the city itself, the evacuation gate was finally closed with a loud noise.

"Good job Mikasa!, I'm very impressed!, now clime the wall!" he began to say, before she began to walk away.

"Now that the evacuation has been completed I will go help my friends..." She said with no change on her face as she walks away from him.

"Where do you think you're going?!" he shouted at her, "You have no reason to return to that place!".

She stopped in silence.

"We lost communicate with that area of the city a few hours ago... We can say with certainty that everyone who went there is already dead" he finished and approach her.

"Now if you want to live come with me!, don't forget I'm your only chance for a good life!" he said and grabbed her scarf.

Slap!

The black haired girl slapped his hand away from her beloved scarf.

The blond took a few steps back from the pain and tremors he felt in his hand and looked angrily at Mikasa ",what do you think you're doing you Bitch?!" he told her angrily.

She began to move towards him in slow steps.

"Do you remember what I promised you..." .

Rain continued to fall on the city with clouds that threatened to hide the Sun.

Mikasa moved through town to the area where Eren was, she noticed a few units were in place and were screaming at each other.

"Why are they still here?, they were supposed to hear the Bell" She thought. "Why aren't they claiming the wall?" she thought to herself before she realized something was stopping the other from leaving the area.

She looked in panic at the building that contained the equipment and gas they needed to get on the wall ",something's wrong!" she thought and began to move on quickly to the structure and hopefully find Eren.

"Please be okay Eren!".

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX

Some of the few departments that managed to survive were all in the same area, trying to figure out what they should do to be saved while a large proportion of them just sat alone with thoughts of death.

"What are we supposed to do?" asked Jean ",we can't climb the wall without enough gas". He lowered his head to the floor. "Now we're going to die here because of all the cowards who decided to run".

"You mean the unit that was responsible for the gas sappily?" asked Connie and looked at his team member ",what the hell happened?! They all died?" said the bald boy angrily.

"They probably lost their fighting spirit...I can understand them, but..." Jean said.

"How could they just abandon their mission and locked themselves inside the headquarters?" asked Connie.

Jean smiled "unsurprisingly, the Titans have flooded the area and made it impossible to get to the supplies".

"So we have no choice but to risk everything and eliminate the Titans that are there, right?!" Said Connie loudly while looking at his team member ",it's better than sitting around doing nothing!, The Titans would also get here eventually!".

The bald boy began to draw attention to himself of the others around them. "Even if we continue to run from them, we simply waste the gas we have left!, and once we lose our ability to move than everything is lost!" he said angrily as he hit his own gas tank with his fist.

Jean stared at his short team member "for once you thought about something, but do you think it's possible with these units?" he asked ",the veterans who went to fight in the beginning are all died". Jean continued in a weak tone and in confidence. "Which one of us can take a suicide mission?, and even if someone will... we will not be able to defeat the Titans".

Connie Just looked at his friend who lost his hope and let him keep talking.

"And I can bet there are a ton of 3-4 feet tall titans that are simply walking inside the room of the supplies" he was done with a long exhalation. "If I knew this would happen I'd say something to her...".

"So you just give up?" said Connie angrily.

"W-what?" Jean said in surprise to his friend.

Connie continued and tried to convince his fellow soldiers who barely listened to him with the help of Sasha that they have a chance.

At the same time a couple of units have arrived to the same place, including Reiner, Bertolt and Annie who looked like she was looking for something or someone.

"Annie!" tried to tell her Reiner but to no avail as she headed to Connie.

"These are all the units that survived?" the blond asked the bald boy.

He was surprised from her but he quickly replied back ",as far as I know only we remained in that area, including Sasha, Marco, Armin and..." He tried to say before he was interrupted be the blonde.

"A-Armin!?" she asked anxiously as she looked around trying to find him herself.

"A-Armin?, over there..." said Connie and pointed to where she could see the blonde leaning on one of the roofs.

She immediately headed for the boy who looked like he was in a trance, she began calling his name and shakes him lightly. "Armin?!, where's the rest of your unit?!" she demanded an answer.

"Mikasa what are you doing here?, shouldn't you be with the civilians?" asked Jean the black haired girl who showed up and headed for Armin and Annie.

Reiner and Bertolt approached their blond teammate ",Mikasa what is the situation of the evacuation?" said Reiner but never got an answer.

"Mikasa…" said Annie as she looked at the red scarf holder.

Mikasa ignored the blond girl and descended to the height of Armin as she stood next to Annie.

"Armin?, are you hurt?" she asked in a quiet voice that tried to calm her childhood friend.

"..." His eyes were hidden but she could see that something was going through his head as his eyes began to tear up.

The other units and the soldiers who were there before approached and just stared at the events.

"I'm glad you're ok... where's Eren I don't see him" she finally asked.

Armin couldn't hold himself and looked up to his childhood friend with eyes full of tears that didn't stop.

The look he gave her confirmed her greatest fear as her eyes lost their color and become lifeless.

But Mikasa wasn't the only one, Annie face also changed in an instant.

"These are from unit number 34..." he said the names of all the other soldiers who were with him and finally said ",and Eren Yeager they all completed their mission and died during duty!" he finished.

Annie's eyes opened with horror.
