Just gonna say it, I LOVE writing fight scenes. Hope you like...
Later that night, I thought of Maru. I sighed. Liam had really gotten me. He had even sacrificed his "pretty face" for MY girl.
I shook my head. While he might have hurt himself for her, I knew that I would do far more than that for her.
Suddenly my phone rang, interrupting my train of thoughts.
"S'up? Eight Unabara here. Who's this?" I chanted.
I heard a deep sigh. "Stop it, Eight. Liam told me about you being expelled."
I winced. "Did he now? Well, that's silly. I'm just taking a month-long vacation. That's all."
"Oh, is that all? I'm not buying it."
I sighed as she continued her rant. "You're so ridiculous! Why must everybody always be looking at you all the time? Don't you ever get tired to the attention they give you?"
"Mar-.," I tried, only to be interrupted.
"Eight, it's not healthy. And the way you think-."
"Mar, STOP!"
She stopped.
I paused for a second. "Okay, you need to listen to what I've got to say."
"Why should I?"
"Oh, come on, Mar! Liam was saying such awful-," this time I stopped myself.
"What things was Liam saying? I'm sure he had a good reason."
I just wanted to scream! She barely knew him and she was already making excuses for him. I was furious.
"Why are you making excuses for him! You don't do that for me!"
I heard her give a soft scoff. "So that's what this comes down to? Jealousy?!"
"What?! I'm not jealous!"
I knew she was shaking her head. "You're unbelievable! The reason why I make excuses for Liam and not you is because you don't deserve them! You're always guilty."
I could feel myself turning red. "You don't even know that." I said that a bit more dangerously than I wanted to.
"You don't even know Liam!" she cried.
"I know him better than you do!"
"No you don't!"
I shook my head, smiling humorlessly at her annoying stupidity. "Yeah, Mar, I really do."
I waited for her response, but all I got was a dead line.
