Hi everyone who is reading! I am back with another chapter of this story! Hope you all enjoyed the horrifically long last chapter!
This takes place one week later, at the last day Percy and Thalia are in Goode High School.
Thalia POV
This would be our last day at Goode. We were going to Princeton University later today. We dashed in just as the bell rang.
"Everyone silence." Ms. Gular said. Everyone quieted down, and she motioned for Percy and I me to stand.
I started, "I know this is in the middle of the year, but I got accepted into Princeton University. This is my last day…"
I was interrupted by a classmate.
"But how?"
I shook my head in an I don't know manner.
"Thalia will also be in Princeton, as this is her last day as well."
"Please sit down now." Ms. Gular requested, and we sat down.
"So today, we will be talking about the minor gods. Does anyone know any?"
Thalia raised her hand.
"List as many as you can." Ms. Gular said, and Thalia started.
"Hecate, Morpheus, Hypnos, Kymopoleia, Asclepius, Nike, Hebe, Hercules, Nemesis, Eros, Pan, Persephone, Britomartis, and Thanatos." Thalia recited. Everyone who didn't know that we are demigods stared at us in shock.
"I have a question. Who is Britomartis?" one of our classmates asked.
"She is the goddess of nets."
"Kymopoleia?"
"Goddess of violent sea storms, daughter of Poseidon and Amphitrite."
"Thanatos?"
"God of death, Hades' helper."
I see everyone was impressed. The bell suddenly rang, and we dashed out, to our last class in Goode. As soon as we stepped in, we were accosted by Taylor.
"Oh, loser, I hear you are leaving Goode." she sneered, lacing her arm around Percy. Percy shook her arm off.
"It is true." I said bluntly.
"Percy, are you going to dump this loser who is leaving?" she simpered, and Percy took a step closer to me.
"I am going as well." he said, and we walked off.
"Percy! Thalia!" I heard someone call. We turned to see Skyline.
"Hi Skyline!" I greeted, and she soon hit us with questions.
"I heard from Chiron, it it true?" she asked, eyes twinkling. We huddled in a small circle, and I showed her the ring.
"Oh my gods!" she squealed, "Does Taylor know?"
"Nope."
"Are you ever going to tell her?"
"We should wait for her to find out on her own." Sky grinned, just as the bell rang, and Percy and I went our separate ways to change. I quickly changed, and went outside, and the boys were just starting.
"Alright girls! Gather around!" Skyline called, and we all formed a circle.
"We are playing another water game, as a farewell to Thalia and Percy. It will be sharks and minnows, but the minnows can only use their legs. The sharks can only use their arms. The boys will be sharks, and minnows will be us. Thalia and Percy will ref again, with Jake and I replacing their positions. Is that clear?" Skyline explained, and Taylor pouted.
"I don't want to be a minnow. I want to be with Percy." she pouted, and I rolled my eyes.
"Not everything will go your way." I snapped, and we all headed to the pool.
"3.. 2… 1… start!" I called. The game started, and soon, and within seconds, we caught a cheater.
"Taylor, legs only. You also cannot swat the shark's hands. You are disqualified!" Percy said, voice ringing across the room. Taylor pouted again, and climbed out of the pool. The rounds sped by, and the swim timer rang.
"Alright everyone! Have a great day!" Skyline called as we walked to the locker room to shower and change.
"This feels so weird, going to university." I remarked as we walked outside.
"Percy, Thalia, are you excited?" Mom asked as soon as we walked home. We gave no response, and started to get everything together.
"Percy." I suddenly said, spotting something out of place on the street. Percy looked out the window, and gasped. Mortals were dropping dead, as a shadow was flying over head. An entire hoard of monsters was gathering around the building.
"Our scent is overpowering." Percy said, and called Mrs. O'Leary. She shadow traveled here, and knocked down my lamp. It didn't break. I grabbed a piece of paper from Percy's desk, and scrawled the words:
Sally, monsters are at the base of the building. Percy and I have taken Mrs. O' Leary to university. Don't worry.
~Thalia
I dropped the note right in front of the door, and we shadow traveled away with Mrs. O' Leary. Moments later, the sunlight enveloped us in a warm hug, and we sat up. Miraculously, our stuff had teleported with us. I breathed a sigh of relief, and once I sat up, a large, medieval, church looking building loomed over us.
THIS IS WHERE YOU WILL BE. GO TO THE OFFICE, AND TELL THEM THAT I PLACED YOU THERE. SHE IS A MINOR GODDESS. A voice said, ringing out of the sky.
"C'mon Thalia." Percy said, and I got up. I grabbed my silver pouch, and Percy grabbed his suitcase. I marveled at the designs the building had, and if Annabeth was here, she would love this place. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the person Athena had spoke about.
"Ah, Thalia Grace and Percy Jackson." she said, eyeing us, and led us into the office. I shot a glance at Percy, and he mouthed to stay calm, and do what this goddess wants. I nodded, and stepped inside.
"So, Percy and Thalia. I am the principal of university, but I am also the minor goddess of schools." the goddess said curtly, and she handed us a picture of the school and schedules. I looked at Percy's, and we had the same classes.
"Athena ordered me to put you two in the same classes." the goddess said when she saw our incredulous faces. We nodded, went into the actual school part once we were dismissed.
"Thalia, I have to go to the boys dorm. I guess this is where I say see you later." I said, giving Thalia a hug, and I kissed her forehead. She gave me a sad smile, and headed in the other direction. I walked in the other direction, to the boys dorm.
"Percy!" I heard a semi-familiar voice yelled. I looked up the stairs, and standing at the top, was one of my best friend's brother. Annabeth's brother.
"Malcolm!" I exclaimed as I walked up the stairs. He grinned, and walked with me to the dorm.
"How did you make it here? I thought you were a second year high schooler?" he asked, curious.
"Annabeth didn't tell you?!" I exclaimed in shock. He shook his head.
"This is a really long story. I would tell you, but I need to find my room." I said, and pulled out the schedule.
"Dorm 45." I read aloud. We were silent for a second.
"You're my roommate!" he cried, and I walked with him to the room.
The room was actually really nice. There were two smallish beds on opposite sides of the room, and once someone would walk in, there would be a great view of the courtyard. To one side, there were two doors. One of them had Malcolm's name on it, and the other was blank. I guessed they were the closets. On the other side, there was a door, which I guessed was the bathroom.
The room in general was pretty fair sized.
"Perce, the right side is yours." he said, gesturing to the right side. I placed my suitcase under the bed, and I needed to rest. After a hectic day of everything non- normal happen. Well, I am exaggerating, but you get the idea.
"Other than us, are there other half-bloods in this school?" I asked.
He nodded, "Annabeth is here as well. She finished redesigning Olympus."
"Thalia is here too."
"Oh jeez, this is not going to end well."
"What do you mean?"
"Thalia and I are children of the Big Three, not to mention all four of us are really powerful demigods."
He nodded, and I started to unpack. Around 20 minutes later, all my stuff was in the right place, all the pillows and sheets were put in place, and I started to talk about why I was here.
AN: Time to talk about Thalia's first few hours!
I have gotten a review saying I should not switch POVs. Considering since there are two people in different places, I have to switch.
Thalia POV
I headed in the opposite direction, and I felt dread. Other than Percy and I, I think there are no other half-bloods, at that time. My thought was quickly corrected moments later.
"How's my childhood friend doing?" a really well known called to me. I jerked my head up, and Annabeth was running to me.
"Annabeth!" I cried, crushing her in a hug.
"Thalia, what are you doing here?" she asked, curious. I mentally face-palmed, how you I forget to tell her?
"After I married Percy, your mother and Apollo gave us blessings, and your mom gave us wisdom power, and moved us here." I answered, and Annabeth led me to the dorm area.
"Where is your dorm?" she asked suddenly. I pulled out my schedule, scanned it for the room number.
"Dorm 402." I read aloud.
"We are roommates!" Annabeth cried, and she ran, dragging me along. We came to a stop at a wooden door, and it had a plaque that said 402.
"There is a passcode for the girls, so no boys can come in without it. The password is 18129907." Annabeth whispered to me, while hiding the keypad from view. She put in the passcode, and a click sound shattered the silence. I stepped inside, at I had to admit, it was quite nice. There were two beds, one on each side of the room. Close to each bed, there was a door, leading to a closet. The bathroom was right next to the door.
"Thalia, the left side is yours." Annabeth said, and I pulled out the pouch. Peering inside, I found that I didn't bring…
"Annabeth, I don't have sheets, pillows, pillow covers, or a blanket." I said, remembering.
"Thalia, we have extra." Annabeth laughed, and went into her closet. She remerged carrying a bundle of blue- silver cloth. I took from her, and thanked.
"Percy!" Annabeth suddenly yelped. I glanced up, and saw an Iris- Message.
"Hi Annabeth. Hey Thalia." Percy greeted, and another person came to view.
"Malcolm," Annabeth sighed, "Stop trying to steal the spotlight."
"Sorry sis."
"Thalia!" Percy called. I turned to the IM.
"Yeah?"
"Don't fry anyone's eyebrows okay?" he requested. We all erupted into a fit of laughter.
"I won't." I reassured him, and slashed through the rainbow. I finished putting everything in place, hung all my clothes, and went back to Annabeth. I found her sitting at one of the desks, reading a book in Greek.
"Annabeth, why don't I have any night classes?" I asked, as it was almost dinner time, according to the schedule.
"Well, no one has any night classes because it is too late. Most people just go to their friend's dorms and just have fun." Annabeth answered, looking up.
"For dinner, are there any assigned seats?"
"Nope. I am normally at the library, but since my two best friends are here, I will stay with you guys."
Annabeth's phone suddenly beeped. She glanced at the message, and cursed in Greek.
"Thalia, I need to give you something." she said, fishing out a phone. The phone that Annabeth pulled out shocked me. It was an iPhone 7, and looked to be made of Athenian Silver. I knew enough modern day technology to recognize it.
"This is a phone specifically designed for demigods. It is just like a mortal phone, but doesn't go haywire, and monsters cannot track us through it." Annabeth informed, and I turned it on. When I touched it, I felt a spurt of something flow through me, and I suddenly knew how to use it.
"Cool!" I exclaimed once I finished discovering all the little secrets, after setting a password and fingerprint and everything.
"Also, one more thing. All the demigods that you know that have a phone have contacts that are automatically in there." Annabeth added, and I went to contacts. I saw Percy's contact, along with a picture of a trident, set with a sea green background.
Autoset profile picture based on the godly parent. Same goes for background, though you can change it if you want. Annabeth claimed, and I scrolled up to see mine. It was a lightning bolt, with a blue background. I looked at Annabeth's, and it was an adorable owl, with a stormy gray background. I saw another name, Malcolm.
"That's my half-brother." she said, once I asked her. He had the same profile picture, only with Medusa's head. There were only four contact cards, only four demigods in this school. My phone buzzed, and I went to messages. It was from Percy.
Hey, got it yet?
Yeah.
This is so cool. I never knew that this was possible with demigods. U?
Same.
Annabeth grinned, and we decided to prank the boys.
"Annabeth, can you take out yours?" I asked, and she opened messages.
Seaweed Brain. Annabeth texted.
What the… ANNABETH?!
We all laughed, and both of our phones started to ring. It was an alarm, signifying dinner time.
C u at dinner, table 12?
Yep, Wise Girl gonna b there?
Yes, duh…
I smiled, and headed out the door with Annabeth. I stepped in the area we eat, and I thought I saw someone I knew. It was not Percy, not Annabeth, not Malcolm. Who is she?
I shook the thought off, and we saw Percy already sitting at a table, with the same girl accosting him. Percy saw me, and jumped up. I ran over to him, and gave him a hug. The girl glared at me, and slunk away. The other one, stood up as well.
Why does she look familiar?
"Hey Wise Girl, Pinecone Face." Percy greeted, and we went to get dinner. There were trays set out for us, and we got drinks. Percy opted for Coke, Annabeth and her brother went for Apple Juice, and I went for water. There were plates of food, and I quickly glanced at the menu.
-Pizza
-Hot dogs
-Salad: Romaine, Chicken Caesar
-Fruit: Apple, Pineapple, Banana, Watermelon
I chose the salad and watermelon. Percy, on the other hand, got pizza. I laughed, knowing how much he loves it.
"Thalia!" he cried in shock as he saw my dinner. I laughed, and made my way to the table.
"After dinner, you guys want to come over?" I asked, and the boys nodded. After finishing dinner, we all went to Annabeth's and my dorm to have fun.
"Truth or dare?" I asked Percy. He was silent for a moment.
"Dare." he challenged.
"I dare you to sing a Barbie song." I said, and he fell silent. He started to sing, and we were all rolling on the floor with laughter. What was even more funny is I recorded it.
"Annabeth, truth or dare?" Percy asked.
"Truth." she said, and Percy asked the craziest question ever.
"Tell us why you fell for Luke." Percy said, and everyone fell silent.
"He promised family, and I believed him. I had known him for years, and slowly fell for him." Annabeth answered honestly.
"Truth or dare Malcolm?"
"Dare." he answered confidently.
"I dare you to tell us who your crush was." Annabeth challenged, and he fell silent.
"I never had a crush." he answered, evidently not lying. I clicked my phone on the check the time. It was 10:18.
"We should go to sleep." I said, and they all nodded. The boys all went, after Percy gave me a quick peck on the cheek. They left the room, and I was ready to get some sleep. After I brushed my teeth and changed, and I set my phone to the side, where it could charge. I was going to turn on Do Not Disturb when I got a message from Percy.
Good Night Thalia. Love you. *Insert kiss emoji here*
You too, *Insert same emoji* I replied, and turned it off. I slowly fell into a peaceful sleep, as only sweet dreams hit me…
*-*Dream Start*-*
Percy and I had graduated university. I pulled Percy aside for a quick talk.
"Percy, do not freak out." I said, and he nodded, "I am pregnant with your child."
His face broke into a grin, "How long already?"
"One week."
He pulled me in for a hug.
My dream shifted. This next part seemed to be a follow up.
I was in a hospital bed, looking exhausted. I was holding a small pink bundle, where my little baby girl was sleeping. Percy kept on smiling, and he too was crying a bit. I looked at by little girl, and I gave Percy a tired smile.
I suddenly woke up to the sweet birdsong of my alarm. Opening my eyes, light slowly filtered through.
"Morning Annabeth!" I said cheerfully as I got out. I quickly glanced at my schedule, and I fully looked at the classes.
Morning, no classes until 10, breakfast starts at 7:30
10:00- 11:00, Greek and Latin
11:05- 12:05, Swim Team
12:05- 12:45, Lunch
Lunch Break until 1:00
1:15- 2:00, Math
2:05- 3:00, Demigod Training (Me as Thalia: That was weird)
3:05- 4:05, Language Arts
4:10- 5:00, Biology
5:05- 5:20, Break
5:25- 6:00, Life Study and Skills
6:00- _, Dinner (AN: The underscore is for Dinner, there is no designated time.)
"That is a good schedule." Annabeth said, peering over my shoulder, "All the classes are in the North- Western Wing."
Both of our phones buzzed.
What's ur schedule like? Percy texted.
We have the same. I texted back.
Meet you at same table, 8:00?
Gotta ask Annabeth.
"Annabeth, do you want to eat breakfast at 8?" I asked, and she nodded.
Sure.
I glanced at the time, 7:45.
"Thalia, ready to go?" Annabeth asked, and I nodded. I pocketed the phone, and shut it down.
"How did you sleep last night?" she asked.
"It was actually really good." I answered. She smiled, and we walked the rest of the time in silence, as Annabeth pulled out a book. She almost walked into Percy as we met him close to the door.
"Ack!" Annabeth yelped surprised. She looked up, and tried not to look annoyed. I was trying not to laugh, but Percy poked me, and I couldn't hold it in. A flood of laughter spilled over the dam, as I was walking inside.
This was the breakfast:
-Eggs: scrambled or fried
-Pancakes: blueberry, chocolate, classic
-Waffles
-Drinks: Hot Chocolate, Orange Juice, Apple Juice, Milk, Coffee
-Fruit: Apple, Orange, Banana
I choose the scrambled eggs, classic pancake, and the hot chocolate, as it was almost winter. It seems that Khione is upset, and brought an early winter. I watched the others eating, as I was eating. Every once in awhile, I would see a face in the crowd that I thought I recognized.
I swear… Oh my gods. What is going on? I glanced at Percy, Annabeth, and Malcolm. They had a worried look planted on their faces, along with tension on their bodies. Percy's hand kept on drifting to his pocket, where the Riptide was. Annabeth had a new knife made, which was now hidden in a sheaf, inside her jacket. I sensed something that was out of place, something that was wrong. All the other students seemed fine. I felt a my phone buzz at the same time the others buzzed. We all shared a glance, and pulled it out.
"We await for you challenge." I read aloud, lowering my voice.
"Must be the challenge." Annabeth whispered, and we all nodded.
"It must be from the headmistress, I mean, she is a minor god, and she hates us." Malcolm added, just as the left side of the room exploded. Percy instinctively came over to me, shielding my body from anything that was coming. Thank gods that he took another Styx bath, with his new vulnerability on his ear. It was a funny place, but then I realized it was a new tactic.
Anyways, the left side exploded, and mortals were screaming, running to the safe grounds. Or at least I think. We all made eye contact again, and drew our weapons. I pulled out my bow, and strapped my quiver to my back, along with my Aegis open on my bow arm. All the demigods drew their weapons, and an entire army of gods came to view.
"Well, Percy Jackson," Taylor sneered, standing in front, "You should really think about who to be with."
What is going on? Why is Taylor leading the army? Who is she? We all know her as a normal mortal, but is Taylor a mortal? Why are the minor gods and goddesses rebelling?
