On the road between Kalm and Honey and Chocolate Farms
12:00 pm
A black corvette roared down the ash vault not caring if anything was in the way; all the driver could think of was the phone call he had gotten from Kunsel. Letting him know where to find his Zack, a gun lay on the seat next to him, a bullet awaited that blonde and anyone who got in the way. Zack was his not anyone else's, he thought he had made that perfectly clear when him and Zack had dated but he guess not.
Hands tightened on the steering wheel as he pushed down on the gas and tore down the road at a faster speed. Wanting to get to the farm and surprise his man with his presence and see if he can convince him to leave the stupid blonde, and if not then he'll just do what he did last time when someone had shown interest in the dark haired beauty.
He was a wanted man; thrill still runs through his veins at the thought of a kill, like it did the first time he killed, back when he was 12. That rich family was a cinch; they fell for the down trodden pathetic little boy and brought him into the house. He stayed with them for a month learning their routine, where they went what they did when home etcetera. Then the "innocent" boy they had brought in to live with them snuck into their bedrooms and murders them.
What he didn't account for was their youngest, the 4 year old seeing it. After he was done he left, leaving a bloody mess in his wake. Since then he can't get enough of the thrill that comes with the kill.
The corner was coming up, slowing some he took the corner fast, the back end skidded on the lose gravel. He managed to stay on the road, as this isn't his first time taking the corner fast. The car shot on down the road that only after a few more miles he'll be at Honey and Chocolate Farms.

Which has stood at the end of the long spiralling drive since Cloud and Zack put it there when they bought this place as a fixer upper. It has withstood all that nature had thrown at it, but today there was something in the wind, all the birds where quiet including the chickens. Who were standing quietly near their coop not wanting to go out to free run, they didn't even bother to tear into the mouse as he scurried across one of the hens feet.
Something bad was coming and Zack still had a ways to go before he reached the house, 'why oh why?' had he taken Kunsel down to the pond which was on the opposite side of the property than the house. His heart thumping in his chest he ran faster, stumbling as he went. If his Godfather was here or on his way then that's not good, that means that some how Luxiere had found him.
When he had moved from Midgar he hadn't told anyone was he was going, in fact at that time he hadn't even known where he was going. He just packed a couple of bags and left without a word to his guardian or his friends. He was just there one minute then gone the next, Zack had traveled all over the world and he even made it into Wutai. Made some friends there, that was the place he had stayed the longest until he came to Kalm and met Cloud.
He never left after that, he was planning on contacting his Godfather but he didn't know if that was wise. The last time he talked to his Godfather, he had told him that he needed to get out of Midgar and find himself. Zack didn't know what he had meant then but now he does; his heart was in his throat now as he stumbled up the hill. 'Stupid hill' he thought as he fell and slid a ways down, cursing he scrambled up and continued on.
When he reached the top he paused for a second and looked towards the end of the drive, where the sign was no longer standing but crunched under the tires of a black corvette. Zack froze, heart nearly choking him with fear as he stared down the barrel of a gun.
Luxiere had arrived at the farm just as Zack crested the hill, giving him enough time to grab the gun and get out of the car. As Zack pause at the top he raised the gun to have it pointed at Zack's chest.
"Hello Zack!" his voice dripping with poison
That voice was what made Zack freeze at the top, his blood running cold, that voice he hadn't heard in years not since that day when he saw the man who he thought was his boyfriend kill someone and then turn that gun on him and threaten him. Without actually having to say anything, no all he had to do was touch his cheek with the gun and whisper with that poison voice "If you tell anyone…." The tapping of the barrel against his cheek shot the threat home. Add the kiss and a scared shitless Zack was left standing there as Luxiere walked away to his black corvette.
The same car that was now sitting on the destroyed sign that him and Cloud….Cloud! That got Zack out of his frozen state and he tore off down the hill again, a shot rang through air and Zack went down.
Cloud heard it at the house and came running…..
Kunsel who had been catching his breath started running again…..
Out on the road, not far from the farm, roared a bike engine as he sped up to get there, he had heard the shot as well. His police instincts kicking in, as he rounded the bend and started up the drive way past a familiar black car. "Luxiere" he whispered, the man he had warned his Godson to stay away from but Zack being young and naive at the time hadn't listen and a mess ensued.
Steering his bike past the car and up the drive a ways he slowly came upon the scene unfolding.
Kunsel sitting next to his friend, Zack's head in his lap, trying to keep him awake, cloud still hadn't made it, thankfully.
Luxiere had a maniacal look to him as he drew near to the two on the ground, Kunsel was to busy to notice Lux approaching. He was focused on Zack, making sure he didn't fall asleep; his cell lay on the ground behind him forgotten.
When he had reached the top of the hill his heart nearly jumped out of his chest, seeing Zack on the ground, with his blood staining the grass. All he could think of was what was he thinking when he had called Luxiere, and why had he told him where he was. Zack was telling the truth, why he even doubted his friend, ever since they were kids he had never known Zack to lie. So why did he not believe him when he had told him Lux was a killer, because Kunsel likes to believe there is good in everyone.
After the initial shock of seeing his best friend like that he had ran to him, knocking into Luxiere as he went. Un prepared for the bump Lux went down on one knee almost losing his grip on the gun. With a growl he pushed himself up and descended on his ex and old friend.
"You chose the wrong side Kuns." he growled out raising the gun once again.
Another shot rang out…..pain shot through Kunsel's side and he slumped over Zack, who had only been shot in the leg reached up and shook his shoulder "Curly. Curly!" no response, glaring up at Luxiere Zack shouted "Ass hole!"
Cloud appeared on the scene just then and screamed "Zack!" he ran to him…but before he could take a step Zack shouted at him "No Honey! Don't come near. Go."
"But…"
"GO!"
Cloud turned with tears streaming down his cheeks ran back the way he came and just in time to as another shot whizzed past his ear.
