on the horizon

Master Roshi was simply enjoying a good time in front of the television when he was suddenly called out by a few acquaintances that happened to live on the island. They told him all about the siege, which prompted Master Roshi to take some action. He figured his students could handle it, but still...

"who knows maybe there is a lady out there that needs my help ehehehehehe "

And so Roshi headed out at top speed. He was immediately met by a pair of ant bots who ordered him to stay inside his home. But Roshi just punched them both out of his way and continued running towards the center. He did not even care to see what his punches had done to the two robots. Their inner circuit boards were torn apart, which in turn had made both robots explode, and as a result small electric and mechanical parts were scattered all over the street. He heard a lot of noise coming from the town center, first there was a load bang ,followed up by the sound of thick glass breaking in a million pieces.

"Whatever is going on there, I got to hurry, hang in there boys, the master is on his way"

When he finally saw the town center he also saw a profusely bleeding Goku and a completely beat up and worn out Krillin, along with four creatures he'd never seen before. Master Roshi quickly saw and heard why they were all tensed up. He saw a rain of bullets heading right for them, fired by a mechanical hedgehog of some sorts. As quickly as he could he pumped up his muscles and with the speed of sound moved right in front of the younglings to intercept the hail of bullets. Each bullet that hit his chi enhanced, superhuman muscles felt like a small rock thrown gently against his body, It didn't hurt much at all, it was more of a mild annoyance than anything else.

"Leave it to me boys, it's time this thing learned the order of things"

Master Roshi released the tension on his muscles, shrinking in size and looking like a typical old (perverted )man once again. He took no fighting stance however, instead he just held both arms against his back casually, as if he was in complete control, which dumbstruck-ed our four Mobians and amazed our young martial artists. Mecha Sonic, still hovering above the air, was looking right at Roshi with his golden vision receptor. Mecha still held out his machine gun , which was still smoking from the hail of bullets it had just fired, but then it quickly reverted back into his mechanical arm with hand and fingers. Mecha slowly descended, touching the ground gently and almost soundless.

"So are you ready to give up , or should I put you in ur place once again?

Mecha was just as dumbstruck as Sonic and co. his robotic mind was trying to process, to find an explanation for what had just transpired.

"How on earth did he manage to stop his ferocious attack without as much as a scratch on him. And how did his muscles shrink. He's just an old man and he most certainly shouldn't be capable of such feats. Engaging in direct combat is not recommended, I must find another way "

Suddenly mecha received a command from eggman stating that he must head back to the egg carrier.

"Very well, I shall retreat"

Everyone was surprised at this answer, especially Sonic

"No way metal head!" Sonic screamed as he started rushing towards mecha, only to be stopped when knuckles tugged at Sonics arm.
" Hey let me go!"
"Don't even think about it Sonic, I have saved you enough for today"
"Why youuu!"

Sonic was agitated beyond belief. mecha Sonic fooled them once before, had he already forgotten that. But he was right about one thing and Sonic knew it. He wasn't gonna be able beat mecha today, it was all up to the old man now. But then as he looked at the old man he saw mecha was already airborne and leaving for the egg carrier. Then tails suddenly spoke out in a panicking voice

"where's Eggman!?"
"That feint!"
"Can you guys please explain to me what's going on?" Krillin nervously said

The four Mobians looked at the earthlings cautiously , then at each other after which they all nodded and looked back at Krillin, Goku and Roshi. Tails was the first to speak

"It's kind of a long story, you see we're not from this world"
"so you're aliens? Just as I thought"( Krillin was really getting nervous now )
"Well I guess, although I don't know about eggman, you see he's an earthling that lived on our planet Mobius and one day turned villainous and started to enslave the inhabitants in order to build himself a robot army and an empire"
"So a tyrant?" Roshi spoke out
"Exactly, but you see there aren't exactly many sentient beings on our planet and Sonic always stopped Eggman from ruling over it so basically he decided to return to earth"
"But why did he drag you guys into it? And how did you even get here in the first place, is that a spaceship or something?"
"wowowowow slow down there bud"

It was Sonic who spoke now, with a sly grin on his face typical for the blue blur, he scratched his nose for a second with both eyes closed before speaking once again.

"You see we have something called chaos emeralds on our planet, there are 7 of these and they contain a vast amount of power of some sorts controlled by a huuuuuuuge master emerald. He used the emeralds and the master emerald to teleport his ship to this planet somehow."
"Let me fill in on you Sonic."
"sure buddy, go ahead!"
"Basically the master emerald is capable of bending time and space because it contains an unlimited source of spatial energy, some of this energy can be channeled into the 7 chaos emeralds. With the right conditions the master emerald can be used to release said energy from the emeralds temporarily , which in turn can be used to bend time and space to ur will. Although I'm not sure how Dr. Robotnik figured out just how to do it, but he did and that's how we got here."

Goku looked with utter confusion at Tails, obviously being unable to understand just what Tails meant, Krillin was scratching his head in disbelief while master Roshi was humming silently into himself before speaking up.

"So you guys are stuck here on earth hmm?"
All four Mobians looked at each other with sadness, especially Knuckles who felt like he failed his world by being unable to protect the master emerald from falling into the wrong hands.

"Darn! If only I was stronger! I'm sorry you guys, it's all my fault!"

Knuckles then proceeded to hit the ground at full force, causing concrete to lift up and crack all around, causing a small local earthquake as a result.

"Calm down Knuckles, it's not ur fault, even sonic was no match for mecha, we should all be glad we're okay"
"I'm with Amy on this one knuckles"
"As much as I hate to admit it, if I wasn't a match for mecha then neither are you so don't blame ur self"
"jeez sonic you really know how to cheer people up don't you? Amy said with a deep frown while looking right at sonic
"I was just kidding around come on!"

They didn't notice the impressed look on the faces of Goku and Krillin when Knuckles displayed his brute strength. And Goku just couldn't hold it in any longer .

"geez you guys are surely strong!, maybe you guys should train with master Roshi too, he can definitely make you stronger "

Roshi became wide eyed after Goku said that, he already had two students and that was enough work as it is. But maybe he could use this opportunity for hooking up with some nice ladies. His thought became obvious when he started drooling a little.

"um master, is everything okay?"

This snapped Roshi right out of his trance. Inwardly Roshi was cursing Goku for ruining his daydream

"Of course I am! "
"Would you train me?" Sonic and knuckles said in unison, clearly not embarrassed for asking it so rudely,
"on one condition, you must get me... a lady!"

This prompted Tails to ask another question

"Do you happen to have a place to stay for us please, we don't want to be a burden but we don't know this world and we have nowhere to go"

"very well but on one condition"

"which is!?" the four mobians asked in unison.
Krillin was smiling deviously, He already saw it coming, the perverted old master was so predictable sometimes. He himself already gave up all his own dirty magazines in order to be trained by Roshi.

"Get me some ladies!" Roshi shouted, with the world ladies being shouted even louder than the other words.

"Waaaaait hold on! You want us to find some ladies?" Knuckles said with a questioning tone that didn't hide the disgust he felt from the old mans words.
"Hey old man no prob! Look here's a lady for you!"

Sonic then decided to push Amy forwards towards the old man, all while keeping a large smile. Amy however was all but amused as her facial expression was simply put horrified.

"Sonic! Ur such a prick"
"gee Amy take one for the team will ya"
"Not that kind of ladies!" Roshi angrily said

Roshi then took out a magazine that was hidden inside his jacket, opened it and showed Sonic and his friends just what he was looking for. This left Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy wide eyed as they looked at an entirely nude, barely censored young woman. Krillin also took a sneak peak, some drool coming out of his mouth unnoticed by him, but clearly visible for Goku.

"Krillin, are you hungry too?"
"what? Ah yes of course! Krillin responded in surprise, after which he quickly wiped away his saliva.
"very well, lets all have something to eat now. But you'd better find me a nice looking lady if you want to sleep and train under me.
"yes sir!" all four said in unison

Our 7 man gang then followed Roshi into a casual restaurant nearby, one that was mostly spared from the damage Mecha sonic had caused.

Meanwhile in the egg carrier ,Eggman was sitting idly in a large egg shaped chair surrounded by all red walls, with his face on it at regular intervals. He was in deep thought about the feats of the old man and the little kid with the messy hair and monkey tail. Just how did that old man scatter those bullets like they were made out of paper-mâché. Where did that blue beam of pure energy come from.

"Surely the power necessary couldn't have been created from their own bodies, could it? But what if it was true, if they did find a way to create that energy without any mechanical parts. Yes I know what I saw and my scanners detected no traces of any foreign materials embedded inside the kids body, and barely any on the old man. I must figure out just how their bodies can generate that kind of energy. I guess it's time for some research. But first I need to find a way to stock up on resources. I knew I should have bought my whole fleet with me! Curse that hedgehog!. It's a good thing Sonic couldn't turn super. It's best if I just disperse the emeralds around earths 7 seas and oceans, perhaps I should even do that first. I'll keep one in my possession just in case, they can't use the energy of one emerald but I have a feeling it can be of use to me, yes."

Eggman knocked on the extravagant chairs right armrest before clicking on a button on his left armrest that caused a holographic screen to emerge which was basically the control panel of the egg carrier. After less than 5 seconds the ship started taking off, with a heading of 270 degrees it flew directly towards the seemingly still rising sun.
