I'm baaaaccckkk. Miss me? Yeah? Well, I missed you guys too =[ . I decided to reread my story after lol I dunno how many months, and just realized something, I actually quite like my story! The first time I wrote it I wasn't so sure about it, but after rereading it after so long, I got a different point of view on it and I can actually say that I'm actually proud of myself~ I wish I hadn't been so hard on myself from the beginning and just gave myself a better chance xD I've wasted so much time arguing with myself.
A month into the New Year and I make my new year's resolution: I, Glassy, promise you, my readers, to update more and continue to write more stories in the future!
-Salutes-
Just a note: I will be doing some edits here and there. Nothing too major that will cause confusion to those who have read pre-edit, just some grammar reconstructing and adding in some minor details to improve the story's quality. Nothing to worry about! Just giving you my best. [=
Disclaimer: Of course I don't own DGM. Who told you that?
-o- Turned Tailed –o- Chapter Four –o-
The start of a new day announced itself when the sun rose. The rays of sunshine enveloped the Earth within its warmth, chasing away the remaining darkness and cold dew of the night. The long and powerful structure of the Black Order welcomed the sun's rays onto its thick brick walls, showing its formerly hidden colours perfectly. It was time to begin the new day.
A very tall white-barrette wearing figure could be seen skipping down the halls of the Order higher than that of a ballerina -ultimately putting one to shame. His long white coat flailed up behind him with each jump made. Behind him, walked a smaller man barely reaching the height of his hips and walking with considerably less enthusiasm. Komui whistled a silly tune to himself as he and Bookman went on their way.
A few bystanders didn't know what to make of their supervisor's peculiar performance and quickly decided to not get involved and returned to whatever it was they were doing beforehand. A few snide comments might have been exchanged though. They knew he was avoiding work.
At end of the hall was their destination. The chief made a stop in front of the wooden door to open it with his key. Inside, bookshelves with a variety of different books of colours, text, genre, and authors sat in their proper places. Presently, they were in the private library located behind his office. It was mainly only used for the common purpose of any library, but this one was strictly only to be accessed by those high in power and by the bookmen. Some of its possessions were too valuable to be left out in the open.
Komui selected a particular blue book from the shelf, then put it back. He did the same again with a yellow book, green, blue again, and then a red book. An echoing click sounded right after the last book was removed from the shelf and the bookshelf began to sink into the one next it, opening a new doorway.
Presented with the entrance, Komui and Bookman entered it, following down a narrow staircase until they came upon another door. This time opened with another key that was in the supervisor's pocket.
The room they had entered was big but not massively. It was about the size of his office, if not more. The room was completely enclosed underground and was formerly used as a storage room to hide away his inventions from the science department. Basically: it was Komui's old secret lab.
Half of the room had been dug up to build in an in ground pool. A hose enclosed in the wall poured in freshly made salt water inside it, filling, and refilling whenever needed.
By the pool, crowding around the shallow end was Johnny, Reever, Lavi, and Lenalee, each wearing a look of worry. Resting in the center was Allen, who to Komui's point of view looked strangely motionless. His scarred face was hidden in the crook of his elbow, his face dipped in the water as he rested in the shallow pool. Lavi was trying to communicate with him, but had no luck in receiving a response. It unnerved the supervisor and he and Bookman rushed over to the small group, concerned with what was going on.
"Komui, Thank god! And gramps!" Lavi's spirits rose now that they were here.
"What's going on, brat?" Bookman barked. He ignored the sudden coldness of the water and turned Allen's face towards him to better inspect him.
Allen's face was heavily flushed red and his eyes were lazily open. His pupils were hazy and seemingly unseeing. His skin was paler than normal, making him look all the more sick. What was really strange though, was his fins. The fins that traveled from the boy's elbows and down his arms to the back of his wrists were a pickish red colour instead of its normal light turquoise. It was the same for the fin that traveled down his back bone and his ear fins. His tail though was still turquoise yet had a red tint to it.
"Hmm…" The old man grumbled.
Lavi growled impatiently. "Spit it out, gramps!" He snapped.
"He's in season."
"What?" The red head sputtered.
"It's part of the reproduction process of the species." Bookman started. "Mermaids or sirens, is what they were commonly called, only have one chance in their lifetime to produce offspring. When this occurs is different for each individual when they become of age. Sirens mate in a simulation of both humans and fish, and yet at the same time, very different. They could reproduce either homosexually or heterosexually, making either of the mates eligible to carry the offspring, depending on who went into season first. Sirens carry their young for a duration of four months before soon laying a clutch consisting of two to five eggs. Then, the young will grow for another four to five months until they hatch."
"Allen can conceive…?" The news was startling to everyone in the room. To Allen, it was just another jab at his already crumpled pride. Bakanda was the one who was supposed to be more feminine, not him.
"For the next 7 days he will be receptive. I advise everyone to give him his space, only visiting when necessary and never coming alone. Sirens are compatible with humans. Do I need to explain why sirens are most known for luring sailors and swimmers to their deaths now? Soon, Allen will lose himself to the lust and desire and we don't need any victims. A siren can hypnotise you to admit to them."
Some blushed. Lavi didn't seem at all disturbed by this revelation.
"Wait… These creatures actually existed?" Johnny questioned. Bookman simply nodded his wrinkle infested face.
"They died out due to their poor breeding practices. Many didn't get the chance to successfully mate in their lifetime. Human influence also had a dramatic impact on their species. Sirens were ruthlessly hunted and humans strongly believed that eating their meat would grant them immortality and offer them protection from the devil. Some rich families even kept them as exotic pets. They died out hundreds of years ago. Many documents of them never survived."
"If Innocence, Akuma, and the Noah can exist, then why not sirens?" Allen shrugged.
The constant tingling and overheating of his body was driving Allen mad. The sudden change of his body was rather distracting for most of Bookman's lesson. The white-haired siren barely caught himself from stealing yearnful peeks at Lavi every few minutes. He took a deep breath of water as an attempt to clean his currently racing thoughts.
"Don't worry, I won't attack any of you. I'll never let that happen." He told the group, voice soft, yet strong. He smiled reassuringly at them, silver eyes determined. A hand reached out and carded through his damp white locks. The craved touch sent a jolt through his spine.
Lavi grinned at Allen's confidence. "I wasn't worried, Sprout." Somehow, that came off as an insult to Allen.
"I'll fry you up and feed you to the cats if you touch my precious Lenalee, Allen Walker." Komui spectacles flashed dangerously.
"I'll be more than fine, brother. I trust Allen." Lenalee says, annoyed.
"Enough out of you, supervisor. We need to head back anyways. Duty calls." Reever interrupted, motioning towards the door. Komui booed. A swift kick to the ankle from Lenalee was immensely satisfactory for everyone present. Johnny bid a farewell to Allen and followed his two colleagues out of the room.
"Right, we'll be going too, Allen. Take care. And don't worry, the week will over before you know it." Lenalee smiled. Allen couldn't help but smile in return.
"I understand. Goodbye Lenalee, Lavi, Bookman." He watched them goodbye before disappearing into the blue.

Lavi fiddled with the combination of the bookshelf, his strong memory easily remembering the code. The door responded to his password by introducing an entrance for him. Small squeaks and stomps voiced from his shoes as he walked down the steps.
The red head walked towards the pool and kneeled by the slippery edge to place his fingers into the water to signal to the white-haired exorcist to climb to the surface. His emerald eye watched as the shadow in the water headed straight for him. A splash sounded and Lavi's lips were suddenly stolen by something warm and soft as a pair of water soaked arms encircled around his neck. He froze. Allen's hold was fierce and didn't seem to want to let go. Lavi closed his eyes and leaned forward into the touch, not really understanding the situation. Allen released his left hand to brush along the bookman's now rosy cheek, his other arm still holding onto Lavi. Shortly as is it appeared, it was gone, leaving the red head dazed and missing the touch. His eyes blinked with bewilderment, starring into the owner of the pair of silver eyes before him.
"A-Allen? What was that for?" Lavi placed a hand to his lips, tapping at it lightly in disbelief.
The boy didn't answer him. His hazy eyes hauntingly bore into Lavi's soul. Small water drop sized tears were present at the corner of those red rimmed pools.
"Allen, what's the matter with you? Why did you suddenly kiss me?" Even though he said it, Lavi knew why it had happened. The heat and lust radiating off the siren easily answered that. Allen was reacting to instinct and Lavi was probably the most irresistible eye candy at the moment. He couldn't disagree with that, I mean, he could stare at himself all day. The Jr Bookman knew he could avoid this situation and walk away, but something was anchoring him down that he couldn't interpret. He could only manage to back away a few feet from the hormonal siren.
He didn't want to admit it, but his heart skipped a few beats as the kiss replayed perfectly through his minds eye.
Allen, not all that happy with having Lavi move away from him, plopped himself out of the pool with his arms and crawled –half flopped- over to him. Lavi place his palm on the boy's forehead, comically holding him back from proceeding any further. He frowned as his palm almost burned from the feverish heat radiating off the younger exorcist.
He gripped the boy's shoulders firmly. "Allen, stop. You're better than this." He hissed. "Get a grip!"
Allen looked up at him and licked his lips, moist saliva settling on his chin. Lavi blinked twice. Then thrice. Like a disease, something in Lavi shifted and he couldn't resist the desire to look at Allen with greed. A siren can hypnotise you, forcing you to admit to them.
"I-I need this…" The siren spoke, mesmerizing Lavi with his soft lilt voice. "Please, Lavi." Silver eyes could no longer keep the tears from falling. They trickled down his cheeks, making them shine with the wet trails. He was beautiful.
He wanted to say no. He had to. This wasn't right. But he couldn't resist. The spell is just too powerful…
Allen suddenly jumped on him, knocking off the hold Lavi had on him, and intertwined their lips together again. He hungrily attacked the red heads lips, suckling and biting the bottom lip. He began wrapping his arms around the red heads neck and tangled and grasped the fiery red hair with his fingers, running them through the frisky strands. He also pushed his lower body down on Lavi's hips, slightly placing pressure on him.
Lavi couldn't lie to himself anymore, he enjoyed the sensations that traveled through his body at white-haired boy's touch. But this couldn't continue… Lavi was so lost. So utterly lost.
Allen spoke with his movements as he latched onto Lavi's lips again, attacking with more heavier passion and lust, at times placing his tongue into the others mouth, urging the red head to join in. He slowly put more of his weight onto his partner. Lavi, no being able to hold up all weight, fell onto his back, the younger boy plopping on top of him. Allen then massaged his chest from under the wool of his midnight blue shirt before quickly getting fed up with it and throwing it over and off Lavi's head. He wrapped the thinner part of his tail around the red heads ankle. This was all wrong. But Lavi could no longer acknowledge why.
Lavi didn't stop the clown's performance. Without any complaint, he took the center stage. He actively ran his lips along with Allen's. As soon as he felt the other's tongue he charged at it with his own. Tasting and dancing with it.
No longer accepting his position, Lavi rolled Allen over until he was the one on top and had him pinned with dominance. He moved his body up and down the younger exorcists in ministrations. His arms hungrily explored the body below him, feeling soft skin to the tough and delicate smooth scales and fins. The heat that was growing in his lower abdomen was starting to get unbearable. He unlooped his belt and grabbed the waist band of his pants, pulling downwards. He would give the siren what he wanted.
