A.N: Long time no see! I am sorry for not uploading anything for a few months but I just didn't have any motivation to write. And I wasn't about to put something up here that I wasn't interested and/or proud of. I hope you all understand. I will admit that this story has more humor than the actual romance bit but I enjoyed writing this. Like always if you have any suggestion for me or any advice to improve my writing please review! I enjoy hearing your thoughts of my story.

I would also like to announce that I am still looking for a beta-reader. As I said before I really don't understand how exactly that whole thing works but I'm willing to learn. Especially since it'll help me improve my writing techniques.

Drunken Conversations

"Natsu needs someone in his life, don't you think?" Cana drunkenly asks, pushing herself into a sitting position.

"What?" Lucy mummers, rubbing her eyes sleepily, attempting not to pass out with all the alcohol in her system, "Natsu has plenty of people in his life."

"Natsu needs to date someone," Mirajane explains, smiling innocently at her fellow guildmates. Unlike them she controlled how much she actually drank so she wasn't completely out of it. Someone has to watch over them.

"Natsu needs someone who can care for him and put him in his place. Someone who is strong and a bit cold-hearted," Erza agrees, slamming her fist down onto the coffee table, "But who is like that?"

"Sounds a bit like Gray, don't you think?" Levy adds in giggling on top of the couch, sipping her glass of water. Levy had a drink or two but after those she turned to water. She always found the drunken conversations extremely funny and she just has to stay sober to add her own ideas in.

"Gray and Natsu...?" Lucy snorts, attempting to hold in her laughter. She couldn't imagine the two idiots actually dating! They were both too hard-headed and stubborn.

"I think Gray fits in the description perfectly. Good thinking, Levy," Mirajane says with a smirk slowly forming on her face, "However I don't think Natsu would be the boy in the relationship..." Lucy's eyes snap open as she forces herself into a sitting position. Natsu not being the boy in the relationship?

"Are you referring Natsu as a uke? I can't even imagine that being true..." Lucy argues, shaking her head in disagreement, "If Natsu did date Gray he would be the seme. I mean come on! He's always reckless and you know... he's just Natsu."

"I disagree with you Lu-chan, I think Natsu would actually be the uke," Levy cuts in with a smile growing on her face, "Gray is too mature to let someone like Natsu take control over those kind of things. Could you imagine Natsu being the one to kiss Gray first?!"

"Actually I could see that - if Natsu and Gray were a couple. Natsu likes being the leader in things, remember?" Lucy mummers, clicking her tongue in disbelief. Natsu would definitely be the seme!

"I think Natsu dating Gray would be hot. I mean they are both attractive by themselves. I also think Gray would be the seme in that relationship," Cana slyly adds giggling when the girls nodding their heads in agreement about the attraction comment.

"Mmmm, they are pretty hot, aren't they?" Lisanna speaks softly, blushing at the thought of Gray kissing her old best friend. The girls suddenly jump in surprise when Erza stands up, knocking the coffee table over.

"I would like to add my own opinions now," Erza announces, pacing around the room while biting down on her bottom lip, deep in thought. Would they look good together? Who would be the seme? Uke? Finally deciding on her decision she stops and stands in front of the girls, demanding their attention, "Gray and Natsu would make a good couple. They have always been best friends together - even if they fight from time to time," Erza mummers the last bit in annoyance, her eye twitching at the thought of breaking up the fights. Lucy on the other hand hides a snort; Gray and Natsu actually getting along? Not true at all, "However Gray would be the seme in this relationship. Not only is he taller but he has the more... masculine look. Natsu may have muscles but he looks girly! You could even say small. Gray is more mature than Natsu as well, but they are both protective over each other."

"I got it!" Levy suddenly squeals, cutting off Erza's announcement, "Natsu likes demanding fights from Gray, right? Imagine this:

Natsu has been bothering Gray all day, annoying him non-stop for a simple fight. However Gray had no interest in the fight at all. The only thing he really wanted to do was ignore the pinkette and get the day over with. He would have left but with the persistance Natsu has he knew he wouldn't be able to escape until he agreed to the little duel.

As the day went on Natsu begged and demanded for a fight which Gray was able to successfully ignore, until the moon went up. When Gray got up to leave the guild to head back home Natsu followed him, still trying to get them to fight each other... Surprisingly Gray knew that the pinkette would follow him so he led them towards the river instead. Once they arrived Gray turned around and sent Natsu a smirk, telling him to throw the first hit. Natsu threw a punch at Gray and the fight started with both being eveningly matched.

They fought for a good twenty minutes when they both started to grow tired. Natsu wouldn't give up though and Gray just wanted to stop the fight and go home. Natsu looks up at Gray and throws him a cute smile before charging with his fist raised in the air. They didn't use any magic in this fight so Gray knew he could take the hit without any fear. As Natsu grew closer the lump in Gray's throat grew more, staring down at the fire dragon slayer. God, Gray wanted him and he wanted him now...

Gray catches Natsu's fist and smirks at the surprised look on Natsu's face, keeping his grip on Natsu's hand. As Natsu begins to struggle to break free Gray snickers, unknowingly having his eyes turn black with lust. Gray suddenly releases Natsu's hand and grabs onto the front of Natsu's shirt, lifting him up in the air slightly before swooping down and placing a kiss onto Natsu's lips, stunning him.

Natsu gasps in surprise as he weakly grabs onto Gray's arm, holding himself up before closing his eyes and kissing back he knew only Gray could claim hi-"

"L-Levy-chan!" Lucy shouts out in embarrassment, covering her face at the thought of Gray and Natsu kissing in front of her.

"What?" Levy asks innocently, tilting her head to the side with a small smile forming on her lips.

"Y-You didn't just come up with that, did you?" Lisanna questions with her pale face bright red.

"Nope!" Levy answers while sitting up straighter, "Natsu and Gray were made for each other. I totally ship them as a couple." Mirajane laughs lightly as she shakes her head in amusement. She always forgets how... interesting Levy is when the others are drunk. Most of them forget the little stories Levy creates but she knew deep down that Levy shipped Natsu and Gray together.

She even showed Mirajane her notebook filled of fanfictions about the two.
