Chapter 2: Quidditch and Uneasy Feelings
(BPOV)

The next couple of weeks went how every year at Hogwarts goes. We got up, went to classes, and then went back to sleep. We had also been practicing for Quidditch and I think the Slytherins have a chance at winning this year. We have a good team, good brooms, and awesome skills.

Today was the first Quidditch match of the year. As always it was Gryffindors versus Slytherins and I was ready. I got out of bed and started putting on my Quidditch gear. I put on my shin guards, elbow pads, chest protector, boots, and gloves. I then grabbed the Slytherin uniform and put it on. My number was 13 and it said SWAN on the back of it. I brushed my hair and put it in a pony tail, grabbed my Nimbus 2002 and walked down to the Pitch. I skipped breakfast because I was too nervous and got there by the time everyone else was there. The stands were filling up quickly and we were almost ready to begin. Once everyone was situated we walked out when the Slytherins were being announced. Once the Gryffindors got out there, we mounted our brooms and rose into the air. Madam Hooch then told us the rules and signaled for the games to start. We all flew our own way and I went up above the Pitch to get a better view of the area. Edward apparently had the same idea and came up about 10 feet away from me. I kept looking around for about 10 minutes when I saw it. The golden snitch was floating above the Gryffindor goal post. I looked over to Edward and saw he still hadn't seen it yet. So I decided to shoot towards the Slytherin goal post to make him think I'd seen it, then jerk away real quick and head over to the Gryffindor goal post and grab the snitch.

And I did just that. I shot over to the Slytherin goal post with Edward on my tail. I then jerked back and stopped really quick, turned around, and shot towards the Gryffindor goal posts. I found the snitch again and chased it. Edward was finally on my tail again and was coming really close to me. I followed the snitch until I went one way and collided with my cousin, Malfoy. We collided and fell to the ground. We both fell onto our backs and got the breath knocked out of us. I tried to gain my breath back as I looked around for the snitch when I heard the Gryffindors cheering like maniacs. I saw Edward, of course, holding the golden snitch in his hand, pumping his other in the air. I shook my head and glared at Malfoy, who was still on the ground. I held my hand out to him and helped him up. I grabbed my broom, as did the other Slytherins, and headed back to the changing rooms.

Then both Malfoy and I got screamed out by the idiot captain of the team. We endured it and headed back to the castle. The Gryffindors were in there dormitory celebrating so they weren't at the Great Hall. I ate in silence, still ticked off about flying into Malfoy. If he would have watched where he was going, we would have won.

Wait....why wouldn't he move though? And when we fell to the ground after we collided, he didn't tell me off or anything. And when I helped him up, he didn't protest or anything......What the hell was going on?

I felt eyes on me and looked up to see Snape looking at me again. I stared at him for a moment and looked down at my food. What was with him staring at me all the time?

I shook my head and left the Great Hall, heading towards the dormitory. I didn't want to know what was wrong with Malfoy or Snape, but I knew I would be finding out soon. As I made my way to the dungeons, I saw Edward running towards me. He had a big smile on his face and was still in his Seeker equipment, just like me. Once he got to me, he grabbed me in a hug and spun me around. Then he sat me back down and looked at me. I faked a smile so he wouldn't suspect anything was wrong, but, of course, he could read me like an open book and his smile faded.

"What's wrong?" he asked me. I sighed and looked away. After a couple seconds, I looked up at him and saw those forest green eyes that I loved so much.

"Nothing, I'm just being paranoid. You know me. I worry about nothing," I said, trying to give him a real smile. He looked me over for a while, then sighed and hugged me.

"You would tell me if something was seriously wrong, right?" he asked me. I nodded my head and stepped back from him.

"I'd better go. I'm tired and tomorrow is holiday break, remember? Can't be tired to go home tomorrow," I said.

"Yeah, I'll see ya later, Bella," he said, turning around and leaving.

"Bye," I called back but he was already around the corner. I sighed and went to my dormitory and fell asleep within seconds.

We were currently pulling into King's Cross Station. I had sat with Edward, Alice, and Jasper on the way home and laughed and talked the whole way.

We grabbed our trunks and went out the door of the train to find our parents. I found mine looking at me from across the station. Their cold eyes digging into me with such intensity, I had to look away. I turned to my friends and hugged each one of them. Once we were done giving our hugs, we pulled away and grabbed our trunks that we had set on the ground.

"You'll come to the Burrow during Holiday right?" Alice asked me. Jasper and Edward both also looked like they couldn't wait to hear the answer. I laughed and nodded my head. (A/N: Picture of Burrow on Profile)

"Of course. Don't I always?" I said. They laughed and nodded their heads, too. I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder and jumped. I looked behind me and saw my father was the one who grabbed me and that he was glaring at my friends. I glared at him until he stopped. He then pulled me away before I could have time to say bye to my friends. I turned my head and stared at them until I couldn't see them through the crowd of people.
