We're finally on to the 4th Chapter, YAY! This isn't so bad after all. As usual, my writing sucks ass. So once this story is finished, I humbly ask you that please rewrite this in normal story format. I would love that. Anyways, time to get back to the story. Cheers.

28th November 1939 – Alnus Region, Falmart

Rory and Gisselle had finally arrived at the intended location. They were still a few meters away and were observing. Rory spoke with Gisselle "This is strange; this place looks like a city. It appears normal, but I can feel large amounts of lingering souls here. As if something bad had happened here. We have to ask the people here." Gisselle responded "Umm…...sister, we're here to destroy that Gate as Lady Hardy had ordered. Nothing else matters" to which Rory sighed and said "You really are a fool, aren't you? Can't you feel something is wrong here? We have to do something about it, Hardy can wait. Besides, it was her fault that she opened the Gate in the first place."

As they were slowly walking closer towards the entrance of this newly created City, they were told by some men pointing strange staffs in their direction to "Halt". They shrugged and kept walking to which the men replied "Final warning! Halt! Or we will shoot" but the girls didn't stop, not to mention they appeared threatening with those massive scythes that they carried. So the men opened fire. The 7.92x33mm bullets from their newly arrived but still experimental Sturmgewehrs flew towards the two strange girls. The bullets clearly struck them but their wounds had healed almost immediately and this shocked the Soldiers but they kept firing. They had to stop these strange looking girls at all costs. During their briefing they had been warned against a certain kind of people, Apostles; who were chosen by the Gods of this world and they had superhuman abilities and such. It finally clicked in their minds what they were fighting against and that they needed to report this back to the HQ somehow.

The radioman had relayed this information to command who were quickly scrambling a proper force to deal with these Apostles, they had made some progress with the magic but it wasn't much so they had to rely on conventional methods. These apostles wouldn't die but they could be contained, with some effort. So they had some ways to deal with them at the very least, not that effective but better than the alternatives.

The two Apostles were merely laughing that these men had taken over the area, they weren't that strong at all. They had some strange weapons indeed, but other than that, they were just regular humans. So these so called apostles were disappointed and decided to just kill them anyway. Rory and Gisselle managed to inflict quite a few casualties on the Germans while mocking them before the proper mechanized and armoured units could arrive. But once the Panzers had arrived, they used their HE shells on these apostles. The HE shells work in a pretty unique way; they have a short fuse that is barely a few millimeters deep. But once the fuse is triggered upon impact. The explosive mass inside the shell explodes and sends shrapnel around propelling it towards the nearest objects or people. The shrapnel caused by the shells sent the limbs of both Rory and Gisselle around the area but they kept on healing, albeit slowly if the limbs were far apart. So the Germans kept firing High Explosive Shells at a repeated interval. They had managed to secure them through this method. (Idea inspired by Ajin series since I don't know of any other method to contain them) Their limbs were kept far apart in containers so they couldn't heal. The limbless and maimed bodies of still alive and breathing apostles were tied with steel chains and kept on a tight leash and watch. They couldn't risk letting them become free and causing more damage. They were being transported directly to the secret laboratories for experimentation.

The requests for better equipment were sent to Berlin after this recent engagement with the apostles. If there are more of these apostles around, it will make things difficult for the German troops in the Neuwelt. They couldn't take this lightly anymore.

29th November 1939 – Berlin, Germany

The report from the battle with the Apostles arrived in Berlin and it made quite the news. It seems there are serious threats in the special region. Despite Neuwelt being quite backwards, their magic and these superhuman creatures known as apostles are very threatening and must be dealt with. It was decided that more resources will be allocated to the Neuwelt and all the latest gadgets will go there for testing purposes first. And if determined to be effective, will be fielded by all Deutsche Streitkräfte.

Enough information had been gathered about the different cities and towns in the Saderan Empire and crude maps had already been drawn. On the war table, certain areas on the map were pinned and there were plans for taking over those areas. They were as follows:

Crety - A desert like city with dusty clouds that look like certain areas of Africa.

Telta - The northern most town and the second biggest city of the empire.

Proptor - A Coastal city and it has a port. This will be useful for exploring the world completely once the city is captured and naval shipyards are constructed there.

Deabis – Another Coastal city where yet another naval shipyard can be built so that it will be useful to the Reich. Once the city is captured, in future Kriegsmarine vessels can be produced here and also stationed in the port.

Rondel - A city of mages and ruled independently by the mages and not by the Empire. This will help the Reich greatly as it will allow them access to all the magical archives and knowledge of those arcane arts. This is high priority target and has to be taken over with least amount of damage done.

Bellnahgo - The Temple of the so called Goddess Hardy is located in this city. This is a religious city and is considered important by the Empire. So this will have to be destroyed to reduce the morale of Saderans. It is yet another priority target, though for destruction and not capturing.

1st December 1939 – Kriegsgefangenenlager - Alnus Region, Falmart

Pina and her knights were dressed in simple rags and with chains on their feet, arranged in a way that they could walk easily but not run. They were simply standing in the courtyard, with nothing to do at the moment. They were allowed a one day off in a week. Pina was contemplating her life and how her choices led her here. A stray thought occurred in her mind that if she hadn't been so stubborn she would still be in the Imperial Palace and not in this POW camp.

She was brought out of her musings by the Commandant of the camp and his guards. "Greetings, Princess. I hope you're having a nice day. Because, I have some news for you." To which Pina replied "You'll pay for this, you bastards." The commandant slapped Pina hard and said "I highly doubt that, you worthless Saderans can't do anything. The only people that you could harm were those weaker than you but now the tables have turned. Also, my orders are to escort you to see a gift. A gift that will be given to your emperor soon." Pina then followed the man towards a different part of the camp where the chains were taken off from her and she was escorted onto a truck. After being seated, the truck began to move towards a different location.

In the medical facilities area, the truck came to a halt. Pina was escorted off the truck into the facility. Upon arriving in the sterilized area of the morgue she was seated on a chair and tied to it. Then a large box was brought to her, it was very cold. With ice blocks surrounding it. The doctor opened the lid and showed the contents to a horrified Pina. It was the detached but well preserved head of her older brother; Prince Zorzal. Pina could only stare in pure horror, to which the Commandant replied "Beautiful isn't it, don't worry. The Emperor's head will be put in a nice comfy box too. As of right now, we're preparing to strike all the major cities of your pathetic Empire. We'll show you the nice results of that later, that is if you survive of course."

After this whole event, she was brought back to the POW camp and back to her life in the camp. Only this time, she was devising a plan on how to escape this place and warn her father; the emperor. She needed to give the news about the German attack on the Empire, she didn't know which cities but she had an inkling that it might just be all of the cities. She has seen the capabilities of the Germans so she must do whatever she can to save the Empire. She also knows that the Germans will not stop and this strengthened her resolve to escape.

Later that night, she tried to escape. She managed to sneak past the guards towards the fence. She tried climbing but that didn't work because of the barbed wires on them. She tried to dig under the fences but there's only so much you can dig with your bare hands. She was thinking about what to do when she heard the sound of clapping and a spotlight from the nearby tower was flashing directly at her. "We knew you would try something stupid. We are pretty bored here too. Guarding worthless mongrels like you when we could be in the field taking part in the action, but Nooooo…...we have to put up with untermensch like you. We have to amuse ourselves one way or another. Detain her, we're going to have some fun" said the commandant.

She was bleeding and could barely stand; with her body a complete broken mess with sunken dead eyes. Pina was later shot and had her head detached like her brother's after the horrible ordeal she suffered. Her head was nicely placed in an iced box as well. This will be presented to the Emperor along with Zorzal's head.

5th December 1939 – 0900hrs. – Luftwaffe Airfields - Unknown Locations, Falmart

There had been many airfields constructed since that fateful day of April and they were now all filled with activity. Various Luftwaffe aircrafts were being readied for their next mission. Large bombers were being loaded with munitions. Several Heinkel He 111's, Junkers Ju 88's and Messerschmitt Bf 109's could be seen on these airfields. They had received their orders for the upcoming mission which would launch simultaneously from all of these airfields.

One thing that was very strange were the men wearing green uniforms, they appeared over-confident and carried themselves differently compared to their fellow soldiers. These men were from an elite group. They had to go through intense infantry, demolitions and parachute training to become the elite troops. They were talking with each other in their separate corners, away from other soldiers. They had a different mission. They wouldn't be part of the main mission. They will fly in a different direction, carrying two strange refrigerated boxes.

The plans for this large scale operation had been drawn in the previous months but they were now given a green light. This mission was named "Todeswind auf Neuwelt" and it will involve massive air raid against the cities outlined in the plan. At first the cities will be bombarded, then the Heer and SS units will land and clear the cities. Mechanized and Panzer Divisions will reinforce the secured areas once they arrive. Regular Heer and SS troops had been given basic parachute training in the previous months so it was their time to shine in this new method.

5th December 1939 – 1300hrs. – Luftwaffe Airfields - Unknown Locations, Falmart

At exactly 1300hrs. the planes took flight one after the other in close formation, flying at over a few thousand meters above ground. The noise from these aircrafts flying was deafening and quite imposing to the peasants on the ground. They were looking at these flying metal dragons with bewildering looks. The passing of these giant metal dragons left a strong wind in their wake. It was as if Gods themselves had begun to move.

After few hours of flight, the aircrafts were coming closer to their intended targets as the pilots adjusted the bearings and leveled the bombers straight for the bombardment. The bomb bays began to open with a mechanical sound. The 1000kg bombs hanging in their pods as the bombardiers aimed at the targets below. With a quick push of a few buttons and a lever. The bombs were set loose and they fell freely downwards under the effect of gravity.

The destruction below was immense; city walls shattered, houses toppled and burning, massive craters where the bombs landed. Dead bodies lying everywhere with missing limbs and charred remains. The survivors, if you could call them as such; were crawling blindly amongst the smoke and fire with their blown off limbs. Those that were lucky ran like chickens with their heads cut. It was pure horror and chaos. This was the situation in all the cities that were part of the mission.

The Heer and SS paratroopers were being deployed after the bombing runs had been finished. Their task was to capture the remains of the cities until reinforcements arrived to secure the area. The lucky survivors who had been unharmed by the bombing were to be captured as well so that they could work in the labour camps. Maybe these survivors weren't that lucky at all.

5th December 1939 – 1600hrs. – Somewhere above the Imperial Capital, Falmart

The men wearing green in their special Junkers Ju 52's were chatting with each other as they went over the mission objectives. They were discussing how to infiltrate the Imperial Palace, where to go after the mission and the extraction point. They were armed with an experimental new gadget; a specially made lightweight paratrooper rifle which was designated as Fallschirmjagergewehr, a Walther P38, a basic combat knife, rations, field dressings and a few Model 1924 Stielhandgrenate neatly packed into pouches. Their backpacks were attached to parachutes as well and they contained extra ammunition and rations. Separate Maschinengewehr 34's were packed in bags with parachute attached and would serve as support weapons. The refrigerated boxes will be landing with parachutes as well.

The overall mood inside the cargo bay was quite positive and they started to sing a song to further brighten up the mood.

"Grün ist unser Fallschirm,

Froh das Junge Herz,

Stählern unsere Waffen,

Sind aus Deutschem Erz.

Drum Kameraden, Hört die Parole.

Und prägt sie in das junge Herz hinein.

Fertig zum Sprung… "

Then the green light on the cargo bay turned on. The crewman opened the side door of the plane and it was time for the men to jump out of the plane, so they did; one after the other.

*** Funny enough, I didn't know how to plan the fight with the apostles so I tried the Ajin approach to make it somewhat believable. You should check out Ajin series, if you haven't already. ***

Now that my exams are over, I can continue with the lame story as usual….yay...I try to keep up my promises.
