A/N: Sorry I haven't updated. Had to deal with school but now I got free time and am going to give you guys what happened 3 weeks earlier. So, here we go. Picking up from the last time when Abby left the Dal. This chapter will be rated M towards the end. You have been warned.

Abby walks home where she makes a cup of coffee and sits at her computer. Her cellphone rings with the caller ID of Evony or as it says on Abby's phone:

"What?" Abby asks.

"Feeling better?" Evony asks.

"I need you to do some 'mission impossible' stuff for me." Evony asks.

"What kind of 'stuff' are we talking about here?" Abby asks, taking a sip of her coffee.

"You are going to assassinate the man who abused you. Caleb, right? And you'll be taking not only Tamsin and Vex but the whole Bo gang." Evony says.

"Why do I need to take these people with me? They'll slow me down." Abby says.

"Ooh, that was cold. Don't you care about Bo?" Evony asks.

"Nope" Abby says.

"Not even the doctor?" Evony asks with a smirk on her face.

"Just-where do I need to go?" Abby asks.

"Tamsin has been sent to the Dal to brief you." Evony says, hanging up.

"Right when I was about to sleep too." Abby says, finishing her coffee and getting dressed in a long-sleeve black shirt and skinny jeans.

Abby walks out of her apartment and drives back to the Dal but waits outside for everyone else. Everyone comes out and decides on who's going with who. Kenzi, Dyson, and Bo. Tamsin and Vex. Finally, Abby and Lauren. On the way to a rally, Lauren attempted to make small talk.

"Do you really work for the Morrigan?" Lauren asks.

"Let's just say that she saved my life and to repay her, I gave her my blood oath and became her second in command seeing as I have a cold heart and tend to not care for simple beings." Abby says.

"But there is a cure. To die or-" Lauren says but is interrupted.

"Fall in love with a human. Which is probably not possible for someone like me." Abby says.

"Why not?" Lauren asks.

"Who would want to put up with a succubus who has a cold heart and is cursed? No one. Not to mention, her lack of friendship." Abby says.

They arrive and Abby goes around the back while the others went to the front. Abby and Lauren get out and sneak inside where they had the perfect view of Caleb who was giving a speech. Abby scans the room for Tamsin and Vex as well as the others and gets her knife ready. In 30 minutes, she would attack and it would all be over.

"How long do we have to wait?" Lauren asks.

"27 minutes from now is when I attack and the others create a diversion. Give them the signal when I tell you to." Abby says, about to leave.

Lauren grabs Abby's arm and kisses Abby. The one kiss turns into a heated make-out session. Abby's watch beeped, signaling 10 minutes until it was time to strike. Abby pulls away.

"Gotta go." Abby says, running off.

Abby was behind Caleb as Kenzi pretended to faint and everyone gets worried. Caleb turns around just as Abby stabs his eye. He screeches like some kind of loud bird and runs away with a few words saying that he would make her pay. Abby and the rest run off, get into their cars, and drive back to the Dal. Once there, everyone relaxes and Trick's phone rings. He puts it on speakerphone.

"Well done, Abby. You just pissed off the fucking bird." Evony says.

"The diversion wasn't enough. He turned around and saw me so I panicked." Abby says, a hurt look on her face.

"Fine. Don't blame me when he comes after you." Evony says, hanging up.

"Damn. I guess he got me during that scream with one of his claws." Abby says, clutching her arm.

"Well, that went well." Tamsin says.

"I'm gonna go home." Abby says.

"Wait, Abby! Want to get to know each other later? Seeing as we're sisters?" Bo asks.

"Maybe. I'll think about it." Abby says, leaving and getting into her car.

Lauren waits about 40 minutes when she says she needs to get some sleep. She leaves but does not go home but instead to Abby's apartment where the door was ajar. Lauren walks in and closes it. She goes into the bedroom where Abby is standing in front of her mirror and bandaging her wound. Abby notices Lauren.

"Did the Morrigan send you again?" Abby asks.

"No, I came here on my own accord." Lauren says.

"That's a pretty old word to be using, doc." Abby says, getting undressed.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Lauren asks, trying to make it seem like she wasn't staring at Abby's abs, her perfect curves, but mainly just her body.

"I'm getting ready to go to sleep." Abby answers, getting dressed into boxers and a tank top.

Abby went into the living room to shut the lights off and turn her computer off. Abby walks back into her room where Lauren stood with her clothes off. Abby sighs and stands in front of Lauren. Lauren ran her hands up Abby's arms, being careful to not hit her wound, and then to her waist. Abby's breath hitches as Lauren's hands move higher to her ribs. Lauren's and Abby's lips meet as well as their tongues. Abby guides Lauren onto the bed and straddles her waist. Abby pulls back and sits as she slowly lifts up her tank top and off her body, leaving only her boxers. Lauren took this time to leave heated-mouth open kisses from Abby's stomach to her chest when Lauren pushes Abby down on the bed, intertwining one hand with Abby's, meanwhile the other slid up to Abby's left breast. She fondles the mound and circles the nipple with her thumb. Abby arches and her breathing becomes more fast as well as her heart. She could slowly feel the coldness of her heart melt into warmth.

Abby moans as Lauren's lips touch her neck. Abby grips Lauren's hand as the pleasure increases. The next morning, Abby was sitting at her desk when Lauren came into the living room wearing one of Abby's over-sized shirts. Abby heard her footsteps and smiles when Lauren notices her.

"What's with the smile?" Lauren asks with a smile of her own.

"Um...nothing." Abby says, blushing and going back to her computer.

'Could it be?' Lauren thought.

"Abby?"

"Hmm?"

"Di-Did you get cured last night?" Lauren asks.

"I honestly don't know. I feel like I want to be happy with smiles and to laugh. To be loved. I...can't explain it. But it feels like my heart has melted and that damn curse has been lifted but I won't know until I try to find out." Abby says, sighing.

"Well, let's try right now." Lauren says.

"What?" Abby says, turning back to Lauren.

"Abby, since spending time with you and those two nights of passion. I can't stop thinking about you and my heart beats faster when I'm near you." Lauren says.

"What're you saying Lauren?" Abby asks, standing up.

"I'm...in love with you." Lauren says.

Abby stands still in shock.
