NEVER SAY NEVER.. CHAPTER 4
"Rollins, you're late" Roman said as he saw Seth come in with the coffees. "sorry, im here now geez" Seth said. "finally" Jon said as he came to them. Seth handed them their drinks as he drifted off in thought and smiled. 'Annie, wow she is something, those eyes, those gorgeous blue eyes and her beautiful long wavy brunette hair. I would love to run my hands through it..and those lips..I could hardly concentrate on what she was saying. And that body...her perfectly curvy body..' he was lost in thought.
Roman and Jon kept looking at each other and back at Seth. "what's wrong with him" Jon mouthed to Roman. "I dont know, a girl" Roman mouthed back to him and shrugged his shoulders. A sly smile spread across Jon's face. "you go rollins, who is she?" Jon said, snapping Seth out of his thoughts. "oh, what?" Seth said not really hearing what his friend just said.
"you heard me rollins, who is she?" Jon said still staring at him with that sly smile. "Annie, her name is Annie, we met while i was getting the coffee" Seth said taking a sip of his cofee, hoping the two would just drop it. "You ask her out?" Roman chimed in. "yes, ok. We are going to dinner and a movie tonight, happy" Seth said. "if you ladies are done chatting, can we get to practicing now?" they heard thier trainer Pete yell at them.
"we will be asking more later rollins" Roman said matter-of-factly. "yea, believe that" Jon added. "AND BELIEVE IN THE SHIELD" Roman said which caused the guys to laugh. They all then got to practice.
The girls arrived to the mall and went straight the the Lady Footlocker place, since they know that will have the best clothes for cute workout gear. "ok, let's find you something cute to wear" Megan said as all the girls went through the clothes. Anndrea wanted to find something fitting but not too tight of course so she can still workout and be comfortable. After browsing for about 10 min, Anndrea went into the dressing room with about 6 outfits to try on.
After a few min. she came out in the first outfit. It was a plain, black t shirt with black stretchy work out pants with a pink stripe down each side. She paired it with some cute pink tennis shoes and a thin jacket over it. "that's cute" Megan said. "yea, cute" Becky said.
"yeah, cute means not great, i want to stand out and make him notice me, not be boring in black you know?" Anndrea said knowing this was not the right outfit. She went in the dressing room and tried on more outfits, each one needed something a little different to make the perfect outfit.
Then, Anndrea came out in the last outfit. It was perfect. "wow girlie, he would love that outfit" Megan said. "yes, he will not be able to take his eyes off of you. I dont think he will be able to concentrate on training you." Becky said also and laughed. "yea, i love this outfit. My favorite color and everything fits great" Anndrea smiled and she went back in the dressing room and got changed and brought the outfit she wanted up to the register and paid for it.
"ok, now you need a cute outfit for tonight" Becky said. "yea, for your date with rollins" Megan said teasing her friend.
Anndrea gave her a look and Megan said "Seth, ok i forgot geez" she laughed and then the girls went through the mall looking for the perfect outfit for Anndrea to wear on her date with Seth. She finally found the perfect outfit that was just perfect for a first date.
The girls shopped some more, ate lunch and of course talked about Jon and Seth. Then the girls all went to thier places and Anndrea got ready in her new outfit for the gym. It was around 3pm when she finished getting ready and figured she should head to the gym soon and be there before Jon was and warm up a little. Anndrea was thinking about the two guys she met the last few days.
'wow, Jon is so good looking, he's really sweet and is wanting to help me work out. It's going to be a little weird, i hope i dont sweat too much, that would be embarassing. Then there's Seth. He also is very sweet and he also makes me feel good about myself' Anndrea continued her thoughts and then drove to the gym.
"dude, why do you keep looking at the time?" Roman asked Jon. "oh, no reason" Jon said. "yeah there is, wait, is it that girl you met at the gym yesterday?" Roman asked. "oh yea, the one you were going to help train today right?" Seth chimed in. "yes, im suppose to meet her at the gym at 4pm to help train her" Jon said tryng not to sound too excited to go.
"well, it's about 3:45, maybe you should head to the gym now, you dont want to be late do ya" Roman said teasing his friend a bit. "Of course I dont want to be late but I dont want to get in trouble for leaving" Jon said. "Rollins, Ambrose, Reigns you two talk more than a bunch of women, let's get a move on, we have a few more moves i want you guys to try out, then we will be done for the day" Pete the trainer interuppted thier conversation. "allright pete we're coming" Seth said and the three guys went back to training.
Anndrea arrived at the gym 'good 3:45pm, im a bit early but I want to go in the locker room and wash my face really quick before he gets here' she thought to herself. She went into the locker room and washed her face with some cold water. ' relax Anndrea, he's a guy who wants to help train you. but he's so good looking it's going to be hard to concentrate on working out. oh well, i will be fine'. She walked out of the women locker room and checked the time '4:15' it said.
She looked around the gym for about 10 min and couldnt' find Jon anywhere. 'wow it's almost 4:30 and he still isn't here. I guess this was too good to be true. I knew he would never see me that way, i think im going to head out and take my time getting ready for my date tonight with Seth' she was heading out of the gym when she got a text. 'hey there beautiful' it said. 'it's me rollins'. Anndrea smiled. He was just too cute and that's what she needed was to smile after she got blown off by Jon. 'hey there, what's going on?' Anndrea replied back to him.
'not much, practice ran late and Ambrose is pissed because he had a date..lol' Seth said. 'lol, well i was waiting for my work out partner to arrive but they never showed up' Anndrea texted back. 'im sorry, well, what do you think about 6pm, me picking you up and us heading to dinner?' Seth texted her back. '6pm sounds great' Anndrea said and gave him her address. 'see you then sweetie' Seth texted which caused her to blush. 'see you then rollins' Anndrea said and started to walk out of the gym staring at the text and smiling.
Just then she ran straight into someone...when she looked up it was Jon.
"nice of you to show up Jon" Anndrea said a bit irritated and disappointed. "im so sorry. what i had going on before this took a lot longer than expected. I really wanted to be here. You can ask my good friends i was with. I kept looking at the clock, making sure i would be here on time and i told them that i was coming here at 4 or was suppose to be here" Jon said hoping she would stay.
She thought that was sweet of him to be looking at the clock and telling his friends that he was coming her and it sounded like he was looking forward to it. He was looking at her with the cutest puppy dog face. "oh, how can i say no to that face" Anndrea said which caused her to smile. "great, let's get started, and might i add you look great" Jon said as he smiled. She was wearing the brand new outfit she picked out earlier at the mall.
It was a baby blue shirt and some black stretchy pants with a blue strip going down each side. She had some cute blue/white sneakers to match and a blue/black thin jacket to match. "thank you, you dont look too bad yourself" Anndrea said and couldnt believe she said that. This caused Jon to smile and think to himself ' wow, she really does look good and she said i looked good to. Ok ambrose, concentrate, you are here to workout'.
"what should we start with?" Anndrea asked him. "how about warming up about 10 min on the treadmill?" Jon said as she nodded in agreement and walked in front of him to the treadmills. 'Damn, she's got a nice ass' he said to himself. "did you say something?" Anndrea said. She thought she heard him say something but had her back turned so she didnt' quite hear what he said. 'shit, she heard me. Think ambrose. Think.' "no, i was just talking to myself, let's get you set up on this treadmill. Dont worry i will go easy on you" Jon said as they both smiled at each other as she got up on the treadmill and he set it to go at a brisk pace.
Jon hopped on the treadmill next to her. About 10 min later they were done and hopped off the treadmills. "ok what's next" Anndrea said. "how about we do some weights. We wont do it for too long, since this is your first time and i want to be gentle" Jon said smiling at her and leading her to the weight lifing machine. This one had one of those bars you pull down and then lift the weights.
"ok, we will start off small with the weights, so you just get used to how to do it" Jon said trying to concentrate on what he was telling her. "sit down on this, reach up and put your hands on this bar" Jon was saying as he was trying to help her do this. "ok, like this?" Anndrea said, kinda playing off like she didnt' know how to do it. "no silly, one hand goes here and the other goes here, like this" Jon said as he moved her hands himself to the right places. "can you show me a few times how to do this machine, i've never done this one before" Anndrea said smiling as his hands were still on top of hers.
"ok, a few times and then all on your own" Jon said as he was behind her with his hands on top of hers. Anndrea was smiling and probably blushing badly. She was glad he was behind her so he couldnt' see her blushing. "ok, now let's get started" Anndrea said. The two did a few reps on the machine and they both felt something as their hands were touching the entire time.
Jon's thoughts...
Wow, her hands are so smooth and nice. I would love to just hold her hand and kiss the top of her hand. I really feel something for her when we touch. Ok, Jon, you have to concentrate on the workout, otherwise you two wont get any working out done.
Anndrea's thoughts...
Wow, he has nice strong hands. They feel really good on top of mine. He's so gentle with me and it's really sweet. I really feel something could happen between us. OH, who knows. Ok, Anndrea, you need to concentrate on what he's teaching you.
Back to reality...
"allright, you got it now?" Jon said after a few reps. "yes, i think i got it now" Anndrea said. "1, 2..."Jon counted as Anndrea did her reps. As he was doing so he noticed there was a tag hanging out of her thin jacket. He looked closer and it was a brand new tag. 'that was really sweet of her, she bought a new outfit just for this workout with me. She wanted to impress me. She doesnt need to do that.' his thoughts were interrupted by Anndrea
"jon? Jon? earth to Jon" Anndrea said. "oh, sorry" Jon nervously laughed. "Where were you just now?" Anndrea asked curiously. "oh, thinking about how cute it was that you bought this brand new outfit for our workout today" Jon said smiling cutely behind her. Anndrea got wide eyed and then really embarassed. She stood up and turned to face him, only a few inches away.
"oh, you saw the tag" Anndrea said as she took the tag off and stuck it in her pocket. She looked down, very embarrassed and he took his hand and placed it on her chin and lifted her head up. "i think it was really sweet and cute that you bought the new outfit just for our workout session" Jon said as the two were now looking into each other eyes. "thanks" was all Anndrea could manage to get out.
"no problem sweetie" he said as he leaned in to kiss her. They almost kissed when they both heard just inches from them... "AMBROSE!" they both turned around to find Roman Reigns standing a few feet from them. "hey roman, this is Anndrea, Anndrea this is Roman" Jon said introducing the two. The two shook hands. "nice to meet you Anndrea, i see you two were working out" he said as he put the working out in air quotes. "shut up rom" Jon said. Anndrea laughed at the two friends.
"well, i had a great time working out but i have to go" Anndrea said as she checked the time. It was already 5:15 and she didnt' want to rush getting ready for her date with Seth. "ok sweetie, why dont we meet here again tomorrow? 4pm again and this time i will be here at 4" Jon said smiling. "ok, 4pm it is Jon" Anndrea said smiling. "nice to meet you Roman" she said as she got her stuff and headed for the door when she felt someone's hand on her arm.
She turned to find it was Jon. "can we maybe have lunch tomorrow?" Jon said as he looked into her eyes. "yeah, lunch sounds great" Anndrea said not really being able to take her eyes off of Jon. They exchanged numbers and as she was leaving he placed a kiss on her cheek. "bye sweetie" he said. "goodbye Jon" Anndrea said as she left and drove home in her car.
"dang ambrose, she's cute" Roman said from behind his friend. "yea, she really is. There's just something about her i really like a lot." Jon said smiling. "i have never seen you like this ambrose. Im happy for you. So, when are you seeing her? and i dont mean working out" Roman said. "I asked her out to lunch tomorrow" Jon said. "good boy. Now let's get out of here. I hear Rollins has a date. Let's go harass him." Roman said with a laugh.
"yeah, that sounds like fun" Jon said and laughed as well. The two friends got in thier own cars and headed to Seth's place where he was getting ready.
