I DON'T OWN LAW AND ORDER: SVU

The day after Alan and Andrea left, the police were called again. Mr. Atkins had not shown up for work in several days and no one could contact him or his wife. Alan and Andrea had also not returned to school. Officers Cohen and Dahl arrived at the Atkins house. They walked up as Cohen knocked on the door.

"NYPD, open up." Dahl said. No one answered.

"Give me a 3 count." Cohen said as Dahl countered to three before the door was broken down. As the officers walked in, they found several empty pizza boxes and liters of soda littered all over the room.

"I'll check down here, you check upstairs." Dahl ordered.

"Copy." Cohen went upstairs and began checking the rooms. The children's rooms appeared to have been ransacked. Drawers were opened and clothes were missing from their closets. When Cohen went into the parents room, he saw the parents lying in bed. "I'm with the NYPD." He said. There was no response. He went over and checked the bodies. They had both been shot. The father in the head and the mother in the chest. Cohen yelled for Dahl to come up.

"What's going on?" He asked as he entered the room.

"I have two dead bodies, the parents." Cohen replied. "Did you find the kids?"

"No, I checked the middle floor and the basement. They're not here."

"Missing kids? We better call SVU."

About 45 minutes, detectives Amanda Rollins and Dominick Carisi Jr. of the Special Victims Unit had arrived at the Atkins house. The police had taped off the area as the neighbors were crowding.

"So, what's the situation?" Carisi asked the officers.

"We have 2 bodies. A male, aged 45 and a woman aged 44, both were killed by gunshots." Officer Cohen said.

"SVU was called because the 2 children are missing." Officer Dahl said as he held up a family portrait. "Alan Atkins, aged 18, and his sister Andrea, age 16."

"So, the killer kidnapped the children and killed the parents?" Rollins asked. The officers looked at each other.

"We found a lot of clothes missing and some firearms that belonged to the father." Officer Cohen explained. Rollins and Carisi looked at each other as they inspected the kid's rooms.

"So, do you think that the kids did it?" Rollins asked.

"50 years ago, I would've said not a chance." Carisi sighed. "But kids these days...damned if I know." After looking over the rooms, they headed back down.

"All right, put out an amber alert for Alan and Andrea." Rollins explained. "For right now, they're missing kids, once we find them, we can figure out what happened. Until then, they are not suspects, they're missing." The officers nodded as Amanda and Sonny got in the car.

"We better call Liv and tell her what's happening." Carisi said.

"I'm on it." Rollins said as she pulled out her phone.

Later that evening, Alan and Andrea pulled up to a convenience store.

"What's the plan?" Andrea asked.

"We need to get out of New York, go someplace like Orlando or something." Alan said. "To do that, we need money. Lots of it." Alan cocked his rifle.

"Alan, I want to do it." Andrea begged. Alan relented.

"All right." Alan said as he put his arm around Andrea's shoulder. "Look, you go in there and get all the money they got. Get some food and some drinks too."

"OK." Andrea said as she loaded her Winchester 1894.

"And one more thing." Alan said. "Kill everyone inside. I mean it. Every single one."

"I can do it." Andrea insisted.

"I know you can." Alan said as he smiled at her. Andrea got out of the car and burst into the store. The cashier looked in terror as Andrea pointed the gun at him. The 5 customers in the store got on the ground.

"Give me all your money!" Andrea yelled as the cashier opened the register. "Come on, all of it!" The cashier handed her the cash in a plastic bag.

"It's 500 bucks, that's all we got." He said as Andrea took it.

"Give me some Little Debbie snacks and a 12 pack of Diet coke!" Andrea ordered as the cashier got what she wanted.

"Here, It's all good stuff." He assured her.

"Thanks." Andrea said as she blasted him in the chest with her rifle. Everyone screamed as Andrea turned her rifle on them. She proceded to kill all 5 customers with gunshots to the head. As she ran out with the money and food, Alan was ecstatic.

"Did you get the cash?" He asked. Andrea nodded.

"And I killed everyone inside." She reported estacially. "My god, killing those people...it felt so...awesome!"

"I know right." Alan agreed. "No on is going to push us around ever again." They put their booty in the trunk and hit the road.

NEXT TIME, THE KILLING SPREE CONTINUES. REVIEWS NEEDED.
