It's been one month since they last chapter

In a training area at castle Greystone, a battle could be heard. Two men fighting for their life's. One is to improve the next high king. The other is fighting to prove he will not falter in battle. Their swords clashing and slashing.

"Your getting better Jaune." Trevor said as he went for 3 quick slashes.

"Well I'm used to a claymore not a sword and shield." Jaune said blocking the slashes and delivering his own in return.

"That may be… true. But Viki and Katie will still train you in it. All good warriors have a extra weapon." Trevor said slashing and hitting Jaune his in the chest. A bell ringed and both sheathed their swords. "Your getting better Jaune. Took me down to the yellow."

"Yeah but I couldn't beat you old man." Jaune replied with a smirk.

"You wound me Jaune. Betrayed by my own brother." Trevor acted. "But seriously don't worry. I've been training since I was 10. You started when you were 13. Plus I got more experience than you do." Before Trevor said anymore the intercom came on.

"Trevor, Jaune report to the CAC (command and control) room. Richter found something." The voice said.

"Alright let's go Jaune." Trevor said as they jogged to the CAC. Inside the room there were multiple tables with different terrains. Many people on computers controlling cameras or drones. People at the table were talking over battle plans. At one table at the end Jaune saw Trevor's team waiting without Viki.

"What's up?" Trevor asked.

"We found Tilly." Richter said. He's 6'2 with brown hair that is spikey. He has brown eyes and a slash scar on his forehead. He's wearing pants and a loose t-shirt.

"Where!" Jaune said loudly.

"Aleppo." Richter replied. Jaune looked like he was about to kill someone. "I got a VTOL ready for you guys.

"Alright I'm in." Jaune said as Viki, Rachel and Katie said agreed.

"Let's go to war." Trevor said in a dark tone. Richter just looked at him like he was crazy. "I'm a hussar." Richter just nodded in return. The 5 of them went to the armory to get their weapons and armor.

30 minutes later

Katie and Rachel wore all black armor like Trevor's but with different visor colors. Katie has a green visor and Rachel has a Red visor. Viki and Trevor put their armor on from when they went to get Jaune.

Katie grabbed her smg, sword and shield. Rachel grabbed her twin daggers and shotgun. Viki grabbed her sword and shield and assault rifle. Trevor grabbed his greatsword and his LMG. Jaune grabbed his claymore and his pistol.

The 5 of them walked to the landing pad where a VTOL waited for them. Inside there was a motorcycle (Harley Davidson) locked and strapped on the VTOL. Viki took the pilot chair and Trevor the co-pilot. Jaune, Rachel and Katie sat in back. It took them 2 hours to get 1 mile away from Aleppo.

"See anything on the scanners?" Trevor asked.

"No but we need to be ready for anything." Viki replied. "Be ready for a hot LZ people." Viki yelled. The 3 in the back got up and got ready. Trevor got the guns and defense measures ready as Viki went in. When they land Jaune, Katie and Rachel got ready to fight but there was nothing.

"Clear!"Jaune yelled. Viki turned off the VTOL and her and Trevor came out. "Trevor stay here and drive anyone besides us off."

"Understood captain."

"Girls let's go find Tilly." Jaune said as the 4 of them left Trevor to defend the VTOL.

The day before at beacon in the headmasters office. "Are you sure she is at Aleppo?" Goodwitch asked.

"Yes we do. If she's not there then a clue will be." Ozpin replied. "Please send in teams RWBY and JNPR. They have a mission with Peter and Bart."

"Yes sir." Goodwitch said. 15 minutes later both teams arrived with Port and Oobleck in tow.

"We're here ma'am." Ruby said.

"Good. Headmaster Ozpin is waiting." Both teams walked in the elevator with the 3 teachers. When they reached the top Ozpin put down his scroll and looked at them. "All are accounted for."

"Good. You may wonder why you are here with doctor Oobleck and professor Port." Ozpin said as the students nodded. "Normally we would send at least two teams of huntsman for this but we don't have the manpower right now. You seven with Oobleck and Port will head to Aleppo and see if there is any sign of the girl, Jaune, or the black knights."

"Why for the knights sir?" Pyrrha asked.

"We believe Jaune is connected to them in some way. While in Aleppo search around the underground bunkers if you need to, but stay near the Professors. We sent a recon team in and they said there was no Grimm in the area but stay on guard. Team RWBY your with Oobleck. Team JNPR your with Port. If there is any non Grimm and they engage you, you will leave and contact me. I will see if I can get a team of huntsman together before you leave, Incase they are needed. You'll leave tomorrow at 7 and have 10 hours to search. It's a 3 hour trip so bring what you think you'll need. If you have questions ask the teachers. Dismissed." Ozpin said. The students either said yes sir or yes Headmaster before leaving.

"Ozpin are you sure about this." Port asked.

"I agree with Port on this one. Fully trained huntsman and huntresses should do this." Oobleck added.

"I believe they can do it. Plus not every situation will be favorable to them. They need to see what a village looks like when Grimm destroy it. Now get ready for tomorrow, your classes will be taught by me and Glynda." Ozpin said. The two teachers left to get ready for tomorrow. Glynda and Ozpin talked more about the mission before both retired for the night. Meanwhile with the 7 kids walking to their dorms.

"You think we'll find the girl?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah. I wanna break their legs!" Nora replied to her comment.

"Join the club." Yang said cracking her knuckles.

"Ugh we don't even know if they are even at Aleppo. Plus Headmaster Ozpin told us NOT to engage people their." Weiss said trying to be the voice of reason.

"I'm just worried about Jaune. What do the black knights relate to Jaune?" Pyrrha asked.

"I don't think anyone knows. Ren said.

"Who cares. They wanna threaten someone fearless leader cares about, their legs will be broken!" Nora cheered. Ren just sighed as Yang and Ruby yelled with her. Weiss pinched her nose and Pyrrha giggles. Blake was still in deep thought about this.

"We're here. Night guys." Blake finally said as they reach their dorm rooms. They all said good night before going to sleep. When Blake got into her bed she couldn't help but think about the girl and Jaune. How far he is willing to go for her even if she is a Faunus. Not to mention the black knights helped the white fang before they turned into what they are today.

The next morning the 7 students and 2 professors loaded on the bullhead and left for Aleppo. Now they all questioned what they were going to find. Would the find the girl with her captors or will they find nothing. They all wanted to find the girl. Especially if she lead them to Jaune.

While Trevor was guarding the VTOL Jaune, Katie, Rachel, and Viki searched the town. They started from the outside sections to the mayor's house, which is on the hill with a broken wooden wall around it. It took the 4 of them at least 3 hours to clear all the houses.

They had to fight some Grimm but not a lot. But they stayed on guard since they saw vehicle and foot tracks in the ground. When they got to a small neighborhood near the mayor's house, they dove to cover when they came under fire.

"I think they know we're here." Jaune said.

"No shit." Viki replied before returning fire.

"Viki, Katie cover me and Rachel as we give them a wake up call." Jaune said. The two girls reloaded as Jaune and Rachel got ready to run. "Covering fire!" The girls started peppering the house windows as the two ran. Jaune ran through the door and Rachel ran in behind him. They cleared the floor they were on before going up. Rachel went first up since she had the shotgun.

Jaune got on the radio, "girls clear the buildings on the left. We will get the right. Trevor they know we're here so get ready for a fight." The girls replied with a understood. Trevor didn't respond. "Rachel I'm right behind you." She threw in a flashbang and both rushed in ready. Rachel shot one they came around a corner, out of a bedroom. Jaune had the blade of his sword to through the gut of another one that came out of a nearby room.

Both rolled into a room when they came under fire. "Jaune I got this." Rachel said as Jaune nodded. She then turned invisible. A second later 2 bodies hit the floor. "Clear."

"Trevor come in." Jaune said into a radio.

"A little…. busy at the moment. Fucki… would you just…..Hurry up before I run outta ammo!" Then Trevor was cut off.

"Shit."

"Don't worry Trevor is a hard SOB and won't die. Let's just hurry before they blow up the VTOL." Rachel said. Jaune nodded as they went to the next house. It took 45 minutes to clear the houses. The 4 of them lost a little aura but were still close to 80%. Jaune saw Trevor at 72%.

"Man, how many has Trevor killed?" Katie asked.

"Probably a battalion if his Aura is that low." Viki responded. Jaune just looked at her. "He evolved his semblance to create a sort of Grimm."

"Great he can create armor, weapons, and Grimm out of our emotions. He's to OP." Jaune said. The girls laughed.

"He can't take the good emotions, only the bad ones." Rachel said. The 4 saw people waiting for them up on the hill.

"Shit." Viki said.

"Yep" Katie responded.

"Okay…. Viki got your grenade launcher on?" Jaune asked.

"Yeah."

"Give them some fireworks." When Jaune said that Viki grinned . She started launching grenades at them.

"Jaune." Trevor said over the radio.

"Yeah."

"We got a beacon bullhead 30 minutes out."

"Shit. Okay we'll hurry."

"Hahaha. Kill them all. Good luck." Trevor said. The 3 girls looked at Jaune.

"Let's go get the bastards!" Jaune said as he charged up at the disoriented men. The girls behind him. They pushed through some premade holes in the wall that started a free for all with those that were left. It took them 20 minutes to clear the courtyard and get inside the house.

They saw what looked like a command post. Computers and weapons all over the place. They heard a crash above them and they rushed upstairs. They came to a locked room. "Move" Rachel said. She shot off the hinges and doorknob of of the door. Jaune kicked it in and aimed it at the person who had a knife and Tilly's jugular. The 3 girls came in behind Jaune and made a semi-circle around them.

"You're Surrounded. Give up!" Jaune ordered.

The man just back up to a window with Tilly in tow. "You'll never take her back alive." The man said as he was about to kill her. Jaune was about to shoot him when someone else did. Viki was behind him with the gun at was his head. Tilly dropped to her knees.

"W what took ya?" She asked.

"Shut up. Let's get you outta here." Jaune said. He picked her up and headed back to the VTOL.

"Trevor this is Viki. Tilly is secured and we are on our way back." Viki said in the radio.

"Okay But hurry up. I was able to stall the beacon people. I don't know for how long though."

"Roger that. Let's move." She said as they started to run to the VTOL. It took 20 minutes to get their since more Grimm entered the town. When they turned down the street to where the VTOL was, they saw bodies, human and Grimm in the street. Hundreds of not thousands of them of them. Trevor just stood at the top of the air pad with his flask out, leaning on his bike.

"Took ya long enough." Trevor said.

"Yeah yeah let's go." Jaune said.

"Viki get it started. Jaune I need to talk to you." Trevor said. "Girls the medical stuff is out." Jaune let go of Tilly into the arms of Rachel and Katie. Viki walked in to start it.

"What's up?" Jaune asked.

"I'm staying Jaune."

"What!"

"Jaune they know I'm here. I'll be a diversion for you guys. Just get Viki on the intercom and tell them you are carrying wounded but a huntsman is still down here. They will land and pick me up. I go talk to Ozpin and then they stop searching for you. That way they aren't in danger and we can go around remnant without them getting in our way."

"Fine. But you got 1 week. Understood."

"Yes high king."

"Good. Girls let's go. Trevor's staying." Jaune said as he got in the VTOL. They left and a minute later the beacon bullhead landed.

45 minutes before then

"We're 45 minutes out." The pilot said over the intercom. The two teams were sitting down, making sure their weapons are ready. The two teachers were having a conversation before they call the teams over.

"The village of Aleppo was destroyed about 3 months ago from a Grimm attack. Because of this the buildings could be unstable so let us check them before you come in." Port said.

"Yes and even bodies, lien and other things may still be there. But don't grab them. Stay near us at all times. If we find anything out of the ordinary we will take a picture of it. Also their may bandits or high amounts of Grimm so it may take a while to land." Oobleck said. "Any questions?"

"Yeah what if we find the girl and those that are holding her?" Blake asked.

"We take her without trying to injure her in the process." Oobleck said.

"What if we don't find anything." Weiss asked.

"Then we will figure something out." Port said.

"What if we find the black knights?" Nora asked.

"Then we will take them back to beacon to be questioned." Port said.

"We got a message." The pilot said.

"Play it." Port said.

"Roger."

"This Trevor from the village of Aleppo. We need fire support so we can get the wounded out. Anyone reading this?"

"Peter do it." Oobleck said as Peter nodded.

"Trevor this is professor Port from beacon."

"Fucking hell. Got anything to take these nevermores out of the sky so we can get the wounded out?"

"Yes we do. We will be there in 30 minutes."

"That's good. Can you hit the Grimm from behind. I need you to take pressure off of us. Shi…."

"Trevor. Trevor. Trevor!" Port tried to get him back. It took 5 minutes to do so.

" *cough cough* Aww that hurt."

"Trevor you okay?"

"Yes I'm fine. I'm the only huntsman left. The rest are dead or wounded. Watch out for bandits on the way here. They might try and take you down."

"Roger that. We will be there in 25 minutes." Port said before they stopped talking. "Students get ready to fight. Our new objective is to help defend the civilian transport. I will ask them why they chose to come to Aleppo."

"Yes sir!" They all responded.

"Say Oobleck." Port said.

"Yes Peter." Oobleck responded.

"Wanna make a bet?"

"What is it?"

"Who ever kills the most Grimm has to grade papers for the other class for a month."

"Deal."

It took them another 10 minutes before they started see Grimm heading towards their objective. And from the looks of it, they're in for a fight.

"Beacon bullhead this is Trevor. Come in."

"What is it Trevor?" Oobleck asked.

"We got griffons coming in the the west. I'm sending you a flight path to cut them off. Destroy then head to this landing pad. I'll send you a message to when it's clear."

"Understood Trevor."

"You heard him students. Be ready to hunt Grimm." Port said. They all checked their ammo in their weapons and got ready. When they went to the location, they saw dozens of Grimm. Mostly Gryphons and a couple nevermores.

"Looks like a party." Yang said.

"That's a lot of Grimm." Ruby stated.

"Let's hope the civilians get out in time." Ren stated.

"We will make time then." Weiss said.

"This is our job after all." Pyrrha said.

"What's the plan?" Blake asked.

"We break their legs!" Nora cheered.

"Team RWBY go to the left bullhead door with team JNPR. We will stay here and this door. Don't jump out or fall out. Protect this Bullhead." Port said as he and Oobleck got ready for a Grimm bath.

The Grimm saw the bullhead and started to attack it. Port and Oobleck started putting rounds and flames down range, making the Grimm look like moving candles. The two teams fired away at the ones on their side.

"Anyone else notice the amount on how the Grimm keep coming." Ren asked while shooting another griffon out of the sky.

"I've noticed too." Weiss said while using a glyph to push two nevermores together.

"Just keep shooting!" Yang yelled. The bullhead then made a hard right turn missing the feathers of a nevermore. Pyrrha and Blake were unlucky enough to get slammed together taking them out for a little bit.

"Blake, Pyrrha!" Ruby yelled.

"Focus on the Grimm." Weiss yelled as Ruby just looked at her. "If we lose this bullhead we all die."

"Yang strap them in a seat." Ruby ordered. Yang nodded and did as she was told.

"Professors, are there usually this many Grimm?" Yang yelled.

"Don't worry Ms. Xiao Long. It usually is." Port said. But on the inside he knew there should be no reason for this many Grimm. "Thank oum we came when we did Oobleck. Otherwise those poor people would have a harder time leaving."

"Indeed Peter. On your left." Oobleck responded as Port shot the called out target. It took another 15 minutes to clear out most of the Grimm. Blake woke back up during it and helped and Pyrrha was still out at the end of it. The Grimm started to flee when port contacted Trevor.

"Trevor you there?"

"Yes I'm here."

"The Grimm have been dealt with. We will be there in 5 minutes."

"Understood. I'll get the transport away. Out"

Inside Pyrrha's head.

'Ouch What hit me? Where am I? Am I dead!? But wait if I'm dead, why am I talking to myself.' Pyrrha thought in her dreamscape.

"Your not dead because you still have a purpose." A voice said.

"What! Who's there? Show yourself!" As soon as she said that, a person showed up. "Jaune?"

"Hey pyr." Jaune said.

"W wait. Why are you here?"

"Because you dreamed of me being here. I'm just your imagination." Pyrrha walked up and put a hand on his face.

"B but you look and feel real."

"Well yeah. But it's just your imagination. And plus when you re-unlocked my aura, a piece of my soul merged with yours."

"Wait so if that's why this is happening, can I ask you questions?"

"Yes you can. But if I know the answers or not is an entire thing on its own."

"Why's that?"

"Because I'm not with the whole part. But I still gain knowledge from it, although not a lot."

"Wait you said re-unlocked your aura? It was unlocked before?"

"Yes it was. But something happened. I just don't know what."

"O okay. Where are you?"

"I'm at Aleppo at the moment."

"What!"

"Yes I went to save someone close to me."

"But why didn't you tell us! We could've helped!"

"Calm down pyr. I don't know why. But try looking at it from my perspective."

"What does that mean."

"Have I ever talked about my past?"

"N no. You haven't."

"There are multiple reasons for that."

"What are they?"

"That is something you should ask me in person. Just saying 'yeah when I got knocked out, you told me all of this.' That just sounds stupid."

"But it's true."

"And people won't believe that."

"Okay. Why did you want to be a huntsman?"

"I never did."

"Wait what!"

"Yes, I went to beacon for protection."

"From who?" As she asked that question, she started to wake up.

"Our time is short."

"Tell me who is coming for you!"

"My family is. Goodbye pyr. I'll see you later. This time though, try not to give me subtle hints of you liking me." Jaune smirked while saying this. Pyrrha blushes but looked at him dumbfounded. "Of course I knew. I'm not blind." Then she woke up.

"Guys she waking up!" Nora yelled.

"Ugh not so loud." Pyrrha said.

"Welcome back." Ren said.

"Where are we?" Pyrrha asked

"We're landing at Aleppo now. The civilians and wounded were able to get away because of us. We are just picking up a huntsman that stayed behind to hold off the Grimm." Oobleck said drinking from his thermos. Pyrrha just looked shocked for a second before putting on a regular face.

"What about the girl?" Pyrrha asked.

"He's agreed to help us look since no civilians looked like her." Port said. As she got off of her seat, the doors opened to see a heavily armored black figure with a gold visor and with a greatsword on his back, and a LMG resting on a black motorcycle.
