When we finally reached the bathhouse I was panting from the run.
"Do I have to hold my breath when we cross the bridge or do you think it would be fine?" I asked him between pants remembering when I was here last time I had to do that.
"No you should be fine right now. Yubaba might not be pleased that you are back but she'll have to deal with it." Haku told me shaking his head.
"Oh is Lin and Kamaji still here? Or did they leave? I remember Lin wanted to leave." I asked Haku eagerly.
"There still here." He told me and I could tell he was upset with me.
"...Haku please don't be mad at me. I know you didn't want me to come back but I... thought you were dead. I kept on having a nightmare that you... were dying... I couldn't stop thinking of you Haku. You never came for me either..." I told him trying to think how much to tell him and weather or not be angry at him.
He stopped walking all of a sudden and looked at me.
"I... have to go I want you to hide stay away from Yubaba and find Lin or Kamaji. Just stay away from Yubaba." He told me as he pulled me across the bridge.
"But Haku-" I started but he shook his head.
"She's calling I need to go." He told me and I bit my lip.
"Fine." I muttered stubbornly.
He placed a little red ball in my hand and I quickly popped it in my mouth knowing if I didn't I would disappear. He turned his back to me as soon as I did and ran off leaving me on the other side of the bridge alone.
That jerk. I thought crossing my arms in front of me.
