We walked back to The City but I've didn't spoke with Carl nor Kiyoteru… Carl is like an elder brother to me. When my parents died I was alone and since my house was burned down I haven't a place to go.
I was wounded and exhausted. He found me walking around the streets and took me to his home. I wonder why.
Some weeks later, after I've recovered from the shock, my voice were back and I answered him all of his questions, including who were my parents. After he found out who they were he began to act strange around me and one week later he bought me an apartment and found me a job. Since then we've never met casually again. He acts as he never saw me before.

"Kaito are you ok?" Someone said. Wait, what? Kiyoteru? What is he doing here, where are we? Ah… how I could forget it…
"Yeah I am ok. Why?" Why such a question?
"You're crying."
"Wha-!" It's true! What a hell!
"You didn't notice that you were crying?" Carl said with a sarcastic face.
"No I didn't! And it's not your problem!" My voice is cracking. Why am I crying? I don't want to! "It's your entire fault." I mumbled.
"It's my what?" Carl asked.
"Kaito are you afraid?" Kiyoteru asked and I nodded. He picked me up. "Calm down it's not this bad."
"B-but they could already have taken the diary! If they did we'll be dead!"
"We have our spies. If they already have it we'll know."
Yeah it's true. We would already know if they've taken the diary. But it looks like they didn't…
"Kiyo-sama?"
"Yes?"
"Since it's my entire fault that we couldn't take those two and the diary, could I back there and look for the diary by myself?" I need to do it for Kiyo-sama. Since he were so kind to me sometimes, I need to do the same.
"I don't know. And if they're there yet? You're just a little boy, you can't go against them by yourself." You know you may be right?! But…
"B-but if I go and find it then no one will need to be punished."
"So… what are you waiting for?" Carl said with his selfishness.
"Can I Senpai?" Please, please!
"Uh… yeah I guess you can…"
"Thanks!" I jump out of his lap and I ran back to that place. I hope I can find it.
Kiyoteru POV.
"He really went!" Carl said. I turned back and began to walk again.
"What did you expected from him? He's a good kid. Silly boy."
"Why 'silly boy'?" What an idiot Carl, what of an idiot you are.
"Why do you think that those Imperfects would be there? Since that the building is a place inside of our properties? I guess that they already have that diary." Just think a little idiot.
"So why did you sent him there?" Still an idiot
"He wanted it. And I've received a message from our spy saying that they already have the diary. I'm saying that spy to go, steal and destroy it."
"Again why did you send him there?" I facepalmed "What? I'm not a genius just like you!"
"You've said that he needed to grow up and turn into a man so I decided to 'help'. Just think in this like a way that I found to make him grow. He needs to train alone, without help. This is just a perfect way. Don't you think so?" Just admit it I have a point.
Kaito POV.
I ran all the way back to the place where we were. Here's the old lab.
It's dark down there but I need to carry on… I went down the stairs and I found a big and destroyed room. Big glass tubes rising from the ground, some of them are filled with some kind of liquid. Spreaded by the ground were some papers with drawings of human bodies, organs and brains.
"Are those the initial projects of our perfect specie? Wow! It really looks very complicate. I bet that Kiyo-sama can understand it, I'll be taking it with me. Wait… what is it?" I saw a black disc on the ground and I took it. "It's a DVD? Ah there's a DVD player. And if the diary is recorded in video I'll know, or it could be an important data. Whatever… let's watch it."

"Now look for the camera and smile. We're recording it to the future generations."
"Yes sir."
"Hello here's the head doctor of the experiment 'P1fct'. This is the first recording of the experiment and this woman Madley is the woman that will give the birth to this new race. The experiment is going very well and we didn't had any kind of complications on it. The perfect baby is very healthy and we discovered that it's a boy."
"His name will be Peter!"
"Sure Madley. The war continues as bad as it was before. We're looking forward to this experiment. The new Perfect humanity will be able to put an end in all this war and help the actual humanity reach the perfection just like them. Then the human will be perfect in the whole world"
"The perfect planet that you've dreamed will exist. I'm so happy for you, Doctor."
"The baby has exactly 7 months (of pregnancy) 2 months to go. When he born we'll be recording the video again."

"Hi I'm the head doctor of the experiment 'P1fct'. It's already 2 months since of the last video record. The baby born and he's a healthy and perfect human. As Madley wanted his name is Peter. Here he is. We had some problems during the childbirth and the mother didn't resist. Madley is now dead. But I'm looking forward to the experiment, she would like to. "Wait! This means that we the 'Perfects' should be serving and helping that awful imperfect race? No way!" I was scared with the video I just watched. My entire life I learned that we're the superior race and that our objective in the world is to destroy the entire old humanity and make from this world a better place to all the life forms.
Well I-I think that I'll just take this DVD with me, watch it again and think in it later.
I put everything inside of my backpack and I got out of the old building. Suddenly I heard a vehicle coming. When I turned back I saw the entire convoy coming right into my direction.
"T-the Imperfects are coming!" I ran and hid behind a rock. Are they planning to attack us without previous advice? No! They can't! Those imperfects might already have the diary, they're going to exterminate us! Later I saw the last vehicle passing so I came out of the hiding. When I looked to the vehicle I saw those two men of earlier. Since I've saved them they need to hear me.
"Hey stop please!" I shouted running after their car "NO!" I tripped and I fell to the ground. They accelerated the car and disappeared. "No… I don't want you all to die…"
"I need to run the fastest I can to The City and try to stop them!" I ran to the shortcut hoping to don't be late at all…
