Wanted : BOYFRIEND

It was a humid June afternoon and having Tanaka scream towards Michime's own being was not ideal for her as she and Nishinoya entered the gym. She was forced in to joining the boys' volleyball practice match between the members due to Daichi's orders. The blonde girl couldn't say no, though, since she had long waited to play in the court once again.

"WAAAH!" Tanaka yelled in bliss as he saw Nishinoya's step-sister walk in, wearing her Chidoriyama jersey which consisted of a fitted v-neck jersey shirt and dark blue volleyball shorts. "You're really cute, Hime-chaaaan!" He complimented the girl who took a step back and hid behind her short step-brother.

"Hands off her, Tanaka!" Nishinoya frowned and protectively spread his arms to keep Tanaka from advancing in the direction of his sister, "No one gets close to her when I'm around, and that applies to you too, Shouyo!" He shouted at the red-headed boy who was harmlessly minding his own business.

Confused at the sudden mention of his name, Hinata looked towards Nishinoya. "Eh?! What'd I do?!" He exclaimed, leaving his focus on the ball that was hurdling towards him courtesy of Kageyama. It hit his face, unfortunately.

Another shout was heard as Tanaka took a step forward to the two siblings, "Noya-saaaan! Can't I just get a hug from Hime-chaaan~?"

As rude as it may seem, the still-hiding Michime flipped her both middle fingers towards Tanaka with feelings. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi jeered something in the lines of, "Ohh! Tanaka-san, it looks like you've been rejected!", "A flat-out rejection, oh my, oh my!"

Nishinoya stuck out his tongue, and mirroring his step-sister's actions, gave his friend the same impolite hand gesture, "Fuck you! That's my sister we're talking about!"

"BUT SHE'S SO CUUUTE!" Tanaka faked a sob, not really sensing the hostility towards him caused by the two.

"Bullshit, Tanaka! You're trying to get a good look at her chest!"

Michime blushed in anger at the current topic being discussed by the two. "I feel so molested with you two talking about me and my chest right in front of my face."

The shaved-headed boy gave out a gasp, "I wasn't looking at her chest!"

"U-Uh. . ." Michime looked at the one who stuttered. It was Hinata, trying to avoid her eyes. "Ryota-san, Captain said you can warm up over there near Kiyoko-san and Yachi-chan." The short boy pointed to where the team managers shyly, looking everywhere but Michime.

"Okay okay. . ." She nodded, her focus snatched away from Nishinoya and Tanaka's 'brotherly bitch fight'. "Let's win this game, okay, Hinata-kun?" The blonde smiled happily, the anxiousness of playing again in the court settling in her nerves and a tug on her stomach as she watched Hinata acting really nervous all of a sudden.

"H-hai! I don't know much of your skills but I hope to win with you!" Hinata smiled back with a slight blush dusted on his cheeks.

Michime laughed good-naturedly, "With me as your libero? Psh, I'm better than Nii-san." She boasted with a competitive aura, "You don't need to worry, I've got your back." The blonde said, patting Hinata's shoulder. This action made Hinata look at her hand then to her torso, which he had been deliberately evading to look at ever since their conversation started, and avoided to look at her face again in embarrassment.

Tsukishima decided to barge in the conversation, much to Hinata's dismay. "Yo, don't get too aroused over Ryota-san. We all know she's been blessed." The tall blond grinned mockingly.

Hinata turned as red as tomato with the comment and tried to redeem himself from mortification, "I-I am not a-a-!"

Michime launched her fist in the air but missed the shoulder of her classmate as he dodged quickly, "Tsukishima, you bastard!" She said with eyes blazing in anger, and cheeks as red as Hinata's, "Just because I wear volleyball booty shorts and a fitted v-neck doesn't mean you can strike below the belt!"

"Hehehe. . ."

Earlier that afternoon. . .

We talked about some random things about school. . .

Wow, Michime, you're actually making friends. . .

And to someone you're attracted to, imagine that!

We came to the gym at a reasonable time and it seemed that the only one inside is the black-haired guy that I saw with Hinata a week ago. The guy was practicing jump serves and I pushed Hinata inside, saying, "Receive the ball, Hinata-kun!"

He looked confused for a moment but he obediently followed me, like a good boy he is. Hinata ran for the ball as 'Kuro*' served it to the other side of the net. "Argh, itteeee!" The red-headed boy groaned after painfully receiving the jump serve with the wrong form, causing him to fall down his ass. I followed him inside the gym and helped him get up.

I decided to say something, hopefully, helpful that doesn't actually cross the borders between close friends and acquaintances. "You need to improve your receiving skills because you're screwed when you're on rearguard duty." Hinata smiled at me and gave me a thumbs up after rubbing his forearms to ease the pain.

"Oi, who are you?" I hear someone say and looked at 'Kuro'.

"Ryota Michime." I said politely, bowing my head a bit.

"Tch." He frowned at me then turned his attention to the poor poor Hinata, "Don't receive my serves, Hinata! I dare you!" He said with intense authority that sent chills to my spine. Wow, grumpy, much? I wanted to blurt out.

"Eeek! N-no, I won't!" Hinata shook his head like crazy, "Kageyama really is scary. . ." The boy beside me mumbled an apology of how this 'Kageyama' is always like that and everything.

Kageyama, or Kuro or whatever his real name is, attempted to do another jump serve. That was when I realized that he was actually targeting a poor water bottle that's rid of its content. He hit the ball with such force and it was more awesome up close.

Damn, I need to try and receive one of those-

My feet ran after the ball and did my best to keep a strong receiving form, to keep myself from tumbling down like Hinata did. "Ugh!" I received it but the ball bounced out of the court, "That jump serve is awesome! Do it again! Serve it towards me!" I screamed in excitement. Oh my god, that was really strong and it hurts but awesome at the same time! I mentally noted, remembering the last time I accepted a service ace in a tournament.

The black-haired boy looked offended in what I just did and said, "No."

WHAT THE FUCK, MAN?! "Come on, grumpy! Let me receive those awesome serves!"

"I wouldn't serve to a girl like you." He said nonchalantly, turning towards the other side and started practicing some tosses.

"Hey! That's sexist shit right there, you bastard!" I screamed indignantly. How dare he just ignore me after letting me taste some of his attacks! "Just let me receive! Those girls at my junior high never had such powerful attacks!"

It looked to me that Hinata was about to say something to me when I heard familiar voices call towards me, "Eh? Hime-chan, you're here!" A shaved-headed boy went in the gym with twinkling eyes as he saw me.

"Oh, Ryuu-nii! Hi!" I greeted back, trying not to lash out my anger on him from the earlier one-sided conversation between me and 'Kageyama'.

Three more familiar faces came in. "Hi, Michi-san!" Koushi greeted.

"Michime! Ossu!" Daichi greeted.

"What's up, Michi?" Asahi greeted.

I smiled at the three third years. "Hello, Koushi-nii, Daichi-nii, Asahi-nii!"

"Nishinoya, your sister's here!" The Captain yelled at Nii-san, who looked as if he was behind since I'm not seeing him anywhere near the guys who just entered.

I blinked once, twice. Is he-? "WAAAH!" A figure came dashing towards me and I had little to no time to react, "My cute 'lil siiiiiis!" The familiar boy, who I treat like my own brother, had embarrassingly latched himself to me through a hug. His face was buried on my shoulder; his arms were oddly wrapped around me awkwardly, as if he had the difficulty to embrace me because of my 'big chest' – it's a common problem between us but we don't dwell on such uncomfortable matters.

"E-EH?!" I hear Hinata exclaim in surprise. This guy doesn't know how to express his shock in silence, does he? "Noya-san—Ryota-san—You're siblings?!"

"Step-siblings." I corrected, since many people judge me for being an 'illegitimate child' when they did not know we're steps. "He's my step-bro ever since I was six."

"Y-You didn't tell me!" Shock and disbelief was evident on Hinata's face. I can't say I'm surprised. Nii-san had always been the 'boy-who's-always-noisy' and I'm the 'girl-who's-always-silent'. There's not really much in common between us aside from the love for volleyball. And perhaps the love for ice cream, but that's not hereditary so yeah.

"You didn't ask." I deadpanned.

"HIME-CHAAAAN!" Nii-san rubbed his face on the crook of my neck, like a cat, trying too hard to be showy of his 'affection and fondness towards his imouto'. "It was so nice of you to visit me here!"

"Hinata was the reason why she came here, Noya-san." I hear my dear classmate, Tsukishima, barge in the conversation.

Yamaguchi faked a laughed and agreed on to his beloved best friend. "Yeah yeah! Ryota-san was the one who ask Hinata-kun to visit here!"

With that, Nii-san had untangled his limbs and glared at the two, "Shut your mouths, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi! Sit and get below my line of sight, I'll lecture you both for lying!"

I laughed at his demise, "They aren't actually lying, Nii-san."

He turned to look at me, his eyes wide and face pale, "What?"

"I came here with Hinata-kun." I replied simply. No need to sugar-coat since this is my brother we're talking about. Though we're not blood-related, our bond is just as strong so he wouldn't need any explanations.

"SO IT'S TRUEEE!"

I blinked. "What?"

"RYUUUUU!" My crazy step-brother rushed to the aid of his friends. He shook Tanaka's shoulders while comically wailing like a child, "MY LITTLE PRINCESS IS GROWING UUUP! SHE IS DATING SHOUYO!"

The conclusion caught me off-guard. I can't believe I'd be blushing mad at something Nii-san said. I mean, where in the world did he got that? "N-Nii-san, get a grip, we're just friends!" First, I hear Tsukishima dropping off not-really subtle words that he's been 'seeing me with Hinata too much' or asking if 'am I and Hinata dating'. And now, the 'news' spread like wildfire to my own step-brother.

"OF ALL THE PEOPLE IN SCHOOL, WHY HIIIIM?!" The school's libero wept like the apocalypse is near.

I sighed in annoyance. I went here to watch Hinata train, not have the red-head cower in the corner because of the embarrassment from the club as nearly all members of the team now thought of us being. . . well. . . us.

I stayed silent for a moment, reflecting on my stupid decisions. Perhaps it would be better if I leave unattended? Yeah, that's a thought. My feet walked on its own towards the gate of the gym until I felt a gentle hand wrap around my wrist.

I turned to the culprit in surprise and I was met with the usual adorable smile of Koushi [Koushi-nii or Koushi-senpai, if others are uncomfortable of how I call them in my mind] "Michi! Let's play volleyball! Be our libero!" He said to me with that typical niceness of his.

Did he actually ask me to play with them?! WITH THE BOYS?!

Nuh-uh. Not gonna play with them after Mr. Sexist turned me down.
