"So, you're going with Ken?" Castiel asked the small brunette girl sitting besides her. He smirked a bit as he noticed her cheeks were starting to burn a dark shade of red.

Well I caught her right there..He thought to himself.

"W-What?! Of course not! We're just friends!" stammered the flustered girl as she tried her best to defend herself. I mean. . .I know that Ken has this huge, and I mean HUGE crush on me, but I never really felt him as that kind of way he feels for me. She thought to herself as guilt starting to take over her.

Ken was a nice friend, and he is very understandable too! But she never really thought of them as a well, a couple. He was someone she wanted to be friends with a very long time because she did not want to lose the friendship the two shared together.

"Hm. . .well if that's what you want, then sure go ahead and keeping thinking that." He told her nonchalantly, wrapping his arms behind his head as he leaned back against the wall.

Tsuruhime glared at the red head sitting besides her. She could be eating lunch with some of the other people she met in class today, but no she had to sit next to him!

But then a thought came to her, Wait a minute. . .Why am I eating lunch with this guy in the first place?! She retraced her thoughts to remember why she was eating with Castiel and that's when she remembered she saw him sitting all alone by himself. The young girl felt bad and thought he could use some company, which is how she ended up in this situation.

Man. . . me and my kindness. Great job Tsuruhime. I swear, I can end up in the worst situations! Maybe even more terrible than this one later in life! Ugh I need to stop this habit!

The short brunette sighed to herself heavily before gazing at the surroundings in front of her. Though her heavy sigh did catch a certain red head's attention.

"Heavy sigh, you know you didn't have to sit with me if you didn't want to. Everyone here knows I like sitting alone since I like having time for myself." Castiel told her, closing his eyes.

He couldn't help but laugh a bit as he could feel that she was pouting at him when he told her that. "Well I didn't know that! You know I'm new here, so how would I know you like having time for yourself?" Tsuruhime kept the pout on her face since she wasn't exactly happy by the way he was talking to her.

"You could have asked Nathaniel, he is the student body president after all and he basically knows every single person at this school. So if you want to know any information about someone just go to him." He told her, opening one eye to look at her.

"Isn't that a bit rude though?" She asked him, tilting her head curiously. "How is it rude when you want to know something about someone?" "Well like, you're asking for information about someone by someone else rather than ask the person themselves. I feel it's pretty rude to just ask someone else about that person" explained Tsuruhime.

Castiel stared at her for a few moments, making the smaller girl feel a bit nervous about. Out of all people, she can't really understand Castiel as much since he's pretty much the silent emotionless guy. Though because of the way he acts, it makes her want to get to know him more.

He sighed and stood up, "Well if that's what you want to think then go ahead. Anyway, I'll see you around later." And before she could even say a word, he was already walking away leaving her alone and clueless.

. . .I SWEAR HE'S GOING TO BE THE DEATH OF ME IF HE KEEPS ACTING LIKE THAT TO ME.

After School

School ended and as she walked out of the front doors of the school, she noticed Ken was waiting for her. "Hey Ken!" She called out to the smaller boy, causing to startle him as he dropped everything that he was holding.

"O-Oh! H-Hey Tsuruhime!" He greeted her back nervously, fixing his glasses into the right position before kneeling down to pick up his books. Tsuruhime sighed at her friend, shaking her head slightly before walking towards him.

"Ready to hang out?" She asked him before kneeling down next to him to help pick up his books. "U-Uh about that. . .we can't hang out anymore." The smaller boy told her in a sad tone.

This surprised Tsuruhime, Ken didn't want to hang out with her anymore? Did she do something wrong that made him not want to hang out with her? Though before anymore question that could be popping into her head on why he didn't want to spend time with her anymore was stopped when he explained why.

"My dad is sending me to Military school so that's why we can't hang out anymore." Ken explained to her sadly. "He said I'm not tough enough so I'll be at military school for awhile and once I am tough enough I'll come back, I promise!"

She sighed and smiled at him sadly, "I'm really going to miss you while you're gone go Ken. I expected us to be as the two friends who got into the new school and get through the four years together! But. . ." Ken stopped her by raising his hand in front of her face, before giving her a bright smile.

"And we definitely will! I'll be back as soon as you know it! I won't take long!" He told her and this made her smile a bit. Despite she didn't like Ken the way he liked her, they were good friends and she was sad to see him go.

"But um, Tsuruhime be careful here okay?" Ken asked her, looking at her worriedly causing the young girl to look at him curiously.

"Why do you say that?" She asked him, confused why he was telling her to be careful. "Well you you see, there's these three girls who are very mean and vicious! So if they see you, and they don't like you right away they'll do something bad to you, that's what I heard from people! So please be careful!"

Ken was about to say something else, but he was unable to since his father honked the horn, calling for Ken to come to the car already.

"A-Ah sorry Tsuruhime! I gotta go! I'll text or email you later when I have time! G-Goodbye!" He stammered before grabbing his books clumsily and quickly running to his father's car.

The brunette couldn't help but laugh at the way he left before shaking her head.

I hope you won't change that personality of yours Ken. It is what I like about you after all Tsuruhime thought to herself as she watched him bowing down to his father apologetically before getting into the car.

Though, she couldn't help but wonder who these three girls that Ken was talking about. Were they really that bad? If so, she felt like she should asked Nanthaniel about it but at the same time she remembered her conversation with Castiel.

Maybe it was best for her to meet those girls on her own rather than ask people about it but she felt like it was a pretty bad idea since she might end up into some sort of mess she didn't want to get into.

The small girl sighed and looked up at the sky above her, I wonder how am I going to survive this school. . . .
