Bella's POV

Jessica my friend, is talking to her. I had told Jessica she was coming and Jessica had just blown it off and said that nobody would like her. It confuses me how people work.

Jessica walks away and Alice whispers something in Scarlett's ear, Scarlett jumped in what looks like excitement and vanishes. I look back at the table and Edward is whispering in his fast way and everyone has smiles on their faces, whatever had just happened made them all excited even Edward is happy.

"What's happened?"

"Don't worry Bella. It's a good thing." he gives me a smile and I can't help to be amazed by him, amazed by all of them.

"Should we go home?" Emmett asked already getting up.

"No. Alice thinks that we should let Scarlett and Gabriel talk." Edward said and Emmett sat back down like a defeated puppy.

I have to think of who Gabriel is, then I remember from Edward's story. It would be Scarlett's boyfriend.

After lunch I seemed to be left out of everything that has been going on both in school and with Edward and his family. All the school kept talking about is how the new girl got sick after eating the lunches here and Edward and his family talked to fast for me to even hear. Edward took me back to his house after school. We sat in the car while the other's went in.

"Bella I'm sorry, this is just a huge change in our family." he said before getting out of the car and coming around to open my door. "Things will return to normal."

We walk into a loud house. Everyone was sitting in the living room when I walked in I saw him, Gabriel. He had dark hair that framed his god-like face and green eyes, he was built strong and although Scarlett seemed to be more…how do you put it proper, Gabriel seemed to be more relaxed.

"Gabriel this is Bella, my girlfriend." Edward introduced and Gabriel moved so swiftly and so gracefully that it was the most mesmerizing thing I'd ever seen.

"Hello Bella."

Esme was at their side in a moment, her love for Gabriel was so clearly etched on her face.

"Come darling, I have a room set up and everything for you." Esme smiled and Gabriel smiled.

"A change of clothes would be excellent."

"You'll have to borrow one of the boys, we'll go shopping tomorrow." Esme smiled and Gabriel gave her a small smile then kissed her forehead and left.

I watched him leave and Esme smiled at us before she too left, leaving us alone.

"Edward why did the tribe not want them here?"

Edward ignored me. He said something about going to check on the boys and left me alone. I wondered to find Alice, she was in her room with Rosalie and Scarlett, I stood by the door normally listening in wouldn't be my thing but this girl just bugged me that much.

"You can come in Bella." Alice called.

Right, vampire. They can hear a feather hit wind.

I walk in and Alice scoots over for me to sit next to her on the bed, then a strange thought occurred, Alice never had a bed before vampires never sleep. As if Alice knew what I was going to ask she smiled then answered.

"I missed having one, I loved yours and thought it makes use for just laying of extra sitting space."

I knew it was because Scarlett.

"If I make you uncomfortable I can leave, Bella?"

"No, it's fine."

I'm lying.

"Good, were going shopping tomorrow. You should join us." Scarlett purred. Rosalie shook her head in disbelief that Scarlett would ask such a thing.

"Yeah, sounds great."

Edward appeared and took in the situation, then smiled.

I'm glad your all getting along. Gabriel followed him in then scooped Scarlett into his arms she giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck. It was such a normal gesture like something two people would do back at Forks high school.

"Don't steal her away yet Gabe. Were going over things." Alice stuck out her lips in a pout.

"Fine, fine. The boys and I have some stuff to do anyhow. Come Ed." He put Scarlett back on the ground, Edward gave me a small apologetic smile then followed Gabriel out.

"Don't worry Bella, they're just putting up doggy barriers. Scarlett already went over it."

"Why is it that the tribe doesn't want you here in Forks?"

I asked it. She looked at me, smiled and shrugged. Then went back to the magazine she was looking at. I was just going to have to ask Jacob.

Edward picked me up, we were heading into town for our shopping trip, Alice and Jasper rode with us while the other's scattered into other cars and Emmett's jeep. Seattle was busy and prom was coming up.

"Is Gabriel going to Forks now too?" I had to ask.

"No Gabe is getting a job with Carlisle at the hospital." Jasper answered.

I relaxed. This school wasn't large enough for one more vampire. We pulled into a large parking lot and the others filed in. Everyone got out of the cars and in the first time I witnessed happiness on Rosalie's face.

"Lets go prom dress shopping!"

"Now girls I don't thin the boys want to dress shop." Esme scolded though something in her voice wanted to go dress shopping.

"No we'll go, and if it starts to feel like torture then we'll leave."

The girls jumped up then started to run down the street. I walked with the others and watched as three girls ran in heels like they were the best running shoes in the world. I am wearing tennis shoes and instantly feel out of place. We enter the dress shop that the other girls entered in earlier. It was large and filled with beautiful dresses. Stepping farther in I could see some of the other girls in school.

I find Alice and flipped dresses on a rack with her. She already had an arms full and both of Jaspers. I didn't know what to look for so I let Alice pull a few for me.

Trying on dresses is a nightmare. Trying on dresses with three vampires that look like models, worse than any nightmare anyone could ever have. Everything they try on looks wonderful while everything I try on has something wrong with it it seems. Edward says everything looks fine but I mean come-on there's no way.

I change back into my jeans and blue top and join the other's outside the dressing rooms. I was done with dresses and by the looks of it so was the others.

"We'll go somewhere else for dresses." I heard Rosalie tell Esme.

We walked out of the dress shop and followed Esme to where the guys were supposed to be shopping. We entered the store and almost instantly I could tell something was wrong. Alice ran out, followed by Esme and Scarlett and Rosalie covered their noses with there hands. Emmett ran and grabbed Scarlett by the arm and instantly they disappeared just as Jacob and Billy Black walked into view.

"Bella?"

I hugged Jacob then waved to Billy. I was happy to see them.

"What are you doing here?"

"Shopping. With the Cullen's. What are you doing?"

"Shopping," He laughed.

Billy wheeled up to them but his eyes were narrow like he had seen something and was trying to be sure.

"Are there any new Cullen's in town?" Billy asked.

I held my breath, if I give away Scarlett and Gabriel sure they'd have to leave but then none of the Cullen's will forgive me. Or worse they would leave and I'd never see them again I knew I was going to have to do the thing I'm worse at. Lying.

"No. No one new. They are thinking about getting a cat though."

I know they're not sure if I'm lying or not but they move on with a 'see you later Bella, tell Charlie I said hi'. I feel bad.

I have a feeling I'm going to loose a lot over these two. Especially Scarlett.
