She knew? How?
I spoke up, "I..-" I let out a breath.. barely
"Shh… It's OK Link. We'll do this together. We'll get through it together.." She said softly
She then did something I could never in all my life imagine…
Zelda then stood up , walked over to the chair that I was sitting in, bent down on her knees and kissed me on the cheek.
Did she just kiss me? No.. not possible! Did she mean it though? I'm so confused. Does she want us to be more than friends? My face.. My face is hot… My heart feels.. I can't explain the feeling..
Zelda broke the short silence, "Link, did you happen to bring the mirror piece?"
"Yes.. I did.. I have it in here." I looked at my bag and spotted the mirror piece.
She stood up and returned to her seat.
"Somehow…someway we might be able to repair the Mirror of Twilight… I just don't know how yet…" Zelda said prior to picking up her Mirror piece.
I saw a tear roll down her face and right on to the cracked piece of glass.
What? How are we possibly going to fix the Mirror of Twilight? Midna is the true ruler of the Twili…. Only she could break the Mirror… completely…. which she supposedly did.. For good…
"Maybe Telma could help us out.. She's not far from here…of coarse the only question is the rest of The Resistance there?
Rusl said he was going to meet with The Resistance today… maybe he's there..
"That is a brilliant idea Link! Well, we better get there before dusk!"
"You're right Princess Zelda! Let's go!"
"Um Link…?"
"Yes…?"
"Call me Zelda.. Well, if you want to I mean.."
I smiled and nodded. And we were off with that.
