Sakura laid in bed frowning at the ceiling of her new room in the Uchiha main house.
Even after all this time she was still afraid of her father. She had grown, damn it! She was strong, powerful, a force to be reckoned with and she was afraid of her father who she could probably beat without so much as lifting a finger.
She sighed, it was stupid, she felt stupid.
She was making everyone worry about her and for what? Daddy issues?
She just couldn't shake the off the feeling she would get when she thought about it. How scared she was and how it frightened her to the point of trembling and reverting her back to that girl who couldn't do nothing for her self.
When she had decided to become a ninja it had been to protect her mother from anything and everything that could harm her.
Her mother was always so good to her and she acted like nothing happened after that night. But Sakura knew that her mother was probably as traumatized as she was about it now.
After her mother died when she was 13, Sakura decided she wanted to get stronger because she wanted to make sure nothing ever happened to Naruto or Sasuke or Kakashi sensei.
But even with all that training she felt weak when it came to him.
She felt tears fall down her face.
"Sakura?" Sasuke said on the other side of the door.
"What?" She said blankly.
Sasuke opened the door and stepped inside. He saw the tears in her eyes and frowned.
"We won't let him hurt you Sakura. Not ever." He said sitting down next to her and wiped the tears away.
Sakura gave him a watery smile. "I know but I worked so hard and I got stronger and I thought I could handle it now. But I'm still weak and helpless." She said clenching her hands
"Your not weak or helpless Sakura. Your a very strong person who has had something really bad happen to her. Its okay to be scared sometimes. It doesn't make you weak, it just makes you human." Sasuke said swiping her hair away from her forehead.
Sakura hugged him and let the tears flow. He hugged her back and soothed her by gently rubbing her back.
"Thanks Sasuke." She said.
"Anytime. So I wandered if you want to go train? You know to take your mind off of everything." He said.
Sakura smiled. "That would be nice."
They both got ready and went to the kitchen to grab a quick snack.
"Where are you going?" Itachi asked walking in.
Sasuke caught the protective tone he directed at Sakura.
"Just to the training grounds Itachi." Sasuke said. Itachi frowned. "I'll got too." He said.
Sasuke shrugged. "Do what you want." He said.
The Uchihas had a lot of land that extended to the west border of Konoha. So there was plenty of space to have some training areas placed in different areas of the compound.
The one they were at was only to be used by Sasuke's family, as they were the head family.
It was in a secluded place but larger than training ground 7.
Sakura didnt know what Itachi was going to do. Was he just going to watch?
Itachi then answered her unspoken question. "I will watch and point out errors." He said.
Sakura was a little uncomfortable about having someone as strong and powerful as he was watch her fight.
She got out her gloves that were worn and beginning to tear. She would have to get new ones soon.
Sasuke and Sakura both went to different ends of the clearing and starred each other off.
She had trained with Shikamaru once and he had told her if it was possible to let her enemy make the first move.
So she waited and Sasuke wasn't at all a very patient person so he attacked.
Sakura dodged his rough kick to her stomach and grabbed his leg and threw him with her enormous strength.
He went flying but managed to turn around and land on his feet.
Since Sasuke was an Uchiha his techniques were genjutsu and fire based. Even though Sasuke could preform different versions of the chidori he didnt like to use it in spars because of its destructive nature.
Since Sasuke was a mid to long range fighter she had the advantage because she could fight from all ranges.
Something Tsunade had her adapt too since she was medical ninja and needed to be able to protect herself at all times.
Sakura eyes him.
He rushed at her and they began a series of taijutsu. Kicks and punches were thrown all around and they both moved at a fast pace.
Sakura's speed had improved greatly while training with Lee.
Sasuke faked a punch to her left and then kicked her abdomen sending her a few feet back but she righted herself just fine.
That was also an advantage she had on him. She was trained by Tsunade so she was used to super human punches and kicks. She had a high tolerance for rough forces.
Finally she went on the offensive.
She stomped her foot on the ground and it exploded underneath her. A couple of flying rocks hit
Sasuke, giving him few cuts and bruises.
Sasuke rebounded and preformed a fire jutsu, which she dodged and through kunai at him.
"Come on Sakura, don't hold back! I'm fine." Sasuke said.
Sakura frowned but did as she was told.
She rushed at Sasuke with chakra filled hands.
They both fought but they were pretty evenly matched. They were both easily very strong ANBU level shinobi, even though they wern't in ANBU. Neither desired that course of life.
Finally Sakura manged to get a hit which ended everything. Her hit was medical ninjutus based. She stopped the flow of chakra through his body.
He grunted and collapsed. "I win." She said smirking at him. If there was something Sasuke hated most in the world it was loosing.
He scowled. "Yeah, whatever just fix me."
Sakura laughed. "Your such a sore loser Sasuke. You won last time remember?" She said unblocking his chakra and healing his wounds.
"Yeah." He said moodily.
They both jumped when they heard clapping. It was Itachi who was now beside them.
"You both did very well. But Sasuke you need stop being so cocky." Itachi said.
Sasuke glared at him.
Sakura giggled.

Itachi watched with intense eyes while Sakura fought.
She was graceful and careful.
His jaw clenched every time her shirt would ride up when she flipped backwards. He didnt know why but watching her fight with her rough style was arousing him effortlessly. He was confused as to why he felt this way. He had watched countless women fight but he had never felt like this, this need to dominate her was strong.
He was very protective of her as well. After hearing her story about her father he had found his cousin and took out all his pent up anger on him, of course he felt bad afterward for beating his cousin so roughly. But Shisui had just smirked and let it go.
Since he had first met her he had been interested in her. Only curious at first.
It was when he had gotten home from a horrid mission. He was covered in blood. He walked into to the kitchen when he heard his laugh. His father hardly ever laughed so he was curious to see what had made him laugh so.
He saw his parents and little brother sitting at the table along with two strangers. He assumed it was Sasuke's teammates.
He ignored the blond but he couldn't ignore the small girl with pink hair who looked at him with such concern in her eyes.
He later found out that she was indeed his brother's teammate and her name was Haruno Sakura.
He later heard rumors around the village about the girl being taken under Tsunade's wing.
Soon father had started to tell him to see her personally for his exams and he had become even more interested in her.
She would talk to him about different things and he would listen but never comment.
He found himself purposely avoiding her not only because he didnt desire a needle being shoved into his skin but because he found she would come to him when he didnt show.
It was his way of getting her attention he supposed but didnt really think much of it.
Now here he was wanting nothing more than to take her and hide her away from anything or anyone that would harm her.
Did that mean he liked her? He was unfamiliar with these types of things so he didnt know.
He knew one thing for sure though. If her father decided to confront her, his life was forfeit.
