Chapter 4: Haruhi's sleepover

Lauren (Leo)'s pov:

The next day I woke up feeling a bit cold, so I sat up and looked over to Hikaru's side and saw that he was not there, I got not of bed and picked up my phone and dialled the first number that was my last contact in rang and that was Haruhi, I walked out of the room with the phone against my ear walking down the stairs looking around to spot Hikaru, but instead of spotting Hikaru but spotting Kaoru in the living room doing his homework as well as stressing out about it and something else that has to do with Kai, I hang up the phone since Haruhi was too busy to answer and went to talk with Kaoru instead.

"Hey Kaoru, what you doing?" I said from behind him which made him up, then he covered his work up and looked over at me and then sat back and said "Oh hey Lauren, I thought you was Kai" then he stood up and walked over to me and then asked "How are you feeling?" "All right I guess" I said looking away from him and down to my stomach, Kaoru saw this and placed his hands on my stomach and said "You guess, why? What's wrong?" I looked up at Kaoru with tears filling up and said "I woke up this morning and I couldn't found Hikaru anywhere"

Kaoru didn't look happy by the way he was looking at me, my guess is because I looked like I was about to cry, which I was but then Kaoru said "I'll phone him" so he pulled out his phone dialled his brother's number while leading me to the sofa to sit down, five seconds later Hikaru answered the phone "Hello" Kaoru put his hone on load speaker so that I could hear as well and then asked "Hey Hikaru, where are you" "I've just gone out somewhere with Kai and Tamaki, why what's up?" Hikaru answered through the phone, I looked at Kaoru and heard him say "Well Lauren's a bit worried from not seeing you this morning" Kaoru explained to his brother the current situation "Oh, hang on a second" Hikaru said then we heard him say to Kai and Tamaki about going outside to talk on the phone, "Do you think you can come home?" Kaoru asked looking over at me before continued on saying "Lauren's really upset and she wants you here" "Sure I can but put her on for a second" Hikaru said as he siad that Kaoru looked at me and nodded his head to me and I just looked at the phone and said "Hikaru" "Hey, you all right?" He said sounding worried about me, I shook my head and then said "No, come home I need you" "Alright, I'll head back now ok" Hiakru said then I heard him say sorry to Kai and Tamaki then said to me "I'm on my way now, so I'll see you soon ok" "Ok see you soon, love you" I said still looking at the phone waiting for him to say it back and then I heard "I love you too" and then the phone hung up, I looked at Kaoru and said "Thank you" he nodded his head and placed his phone back into his pocket.

Me and Kaoru was sat on the sofa talking while waiting for Hikaru to turn up, then my phone went off, I looked at the caller ID and saw it was Haruhi so I answered it "Hello" "Hey it's Haruhi" Haurhi said through the phone Kaoru was looking at me confused and I mouthed that it was Haruhi on the phone and he nodded his head and went back to what he was doing before, "What's up?" I asked while watching out the window and then Kaoru, "Oh I just seen the miss call I had from you and thought I should call you back" Haruhi said sounding like she was busy with something, "Oh yeah, I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out later" I said then I heard the door go so I looked over and saw that Hikaru was entering the house, then I heard Haruhi "Yeah sure, but it'll have to be a sleepover hang out because I'm busy all day at the moment" she said through the phone sounding like she was struggling with something so I said "Yeah that's fine, right well I'm going to go and let you finish what you need to do, so see you soon" "Ok well see you later then" Haruhi said and hung up the phone I placed my phone on the sofa and walked up to Hikaru as he was walking into the living room, then gave him and hug.

"You all right now?" he asked as he looked down at me, I looked up and said "Yes I am now" then I remembered the dream I had the night before and said into his chest "I thought you had left me" he pulled me in closer to him and said "I would never leave" he then picked me up like a princess and walked up the stairs to our bedroom, once he placed down on the bed, he laid down next to me and brought me into him, I turned around to face him and gave him and peak on the lips and then said " I heard you talking on the phone last night and that's what made me worry the most" "I'm sorry to make you worry, I didn't mean to, I just need to talk Rai about something" he said placing his hand on my check and stroking it gently and then leaned in to kiss on the lips, I kissed him back I then pulled back a bit and nodded me head then snuggled up to him, I then fell asleep at that moment knowing Hikaru was with me.

A few hours went by and I woke up this time with Hikaru next to me, it made me feel safe and warm, so I leaned up and gave him a quick kiss on the lips but I was not successful in making it a quick kiss, as Hikaru had woken up and pushed me in to a deeper kiss which turned out to be a make out session between us, when I finally was able to pull away I could see Hikaru's smile, "I win" he said looking at me, I rolled my eyes and tapped him lightly on the nose with my finger then I turned around and got off the bed, then said "I'm going to be staying at Haruhi's tonight, so don't stop up and wait for me."

I turned my head and saw Hikaru nodding his head as he got off the bed from his side, then stopped to think about something then turned to face me and said "I was planning to go and meet Rai at the airport later today anyway, so I'll so you when you come back" I nodded my head and walked to him and kissed him lightly on the lips, he tired to deepen it but I felt like being a mean person to him and let him wait, so I pulled back and grinned at him when he pouted then said "Tomorrow" he just nodded his head at me and went to go out of the door after he tapped my bum, I shook my head and started to pack some things for Haruhi's sleepover.

A couple minutes later, I was walking down the stairs when I saw Kai at the door with some bags, I walked up to him and he smiled then picked up his bags then said "Shall we go?" "Where you going like?" I asked confused with the way he's acting, he looked at me and then around the room before back to me again and said "I need a break from Kaoru" I nodded my head and opened the door a limo waiting to take us to Haruhi's.

We reached Haruhi's house and saw Nat, Kat and Kirsty-anna was standing outside of Haruhi's apartment building, we got out of the limo and I nodded my head to them and walked up to Haruhi's door and knocked on it, she answered it and invited us all in, we put all our things down while Haruhi was make us drinks, we sat down in the living room area where we just talked about random things that each of us has been doing over the weeks, then Kai's phone went off, he pulled it out and looked at it but then hung up and placed it back into his pocket "Who was it?" I asked looking over at him, he looked at me and shook his head while saying "No one" but I could tell it would of been Kaoru but I just left it at that and carried on talking to the others.

Later that night, I was sat with Kat watching the others play twister, "So Lauren, how is it going with Hikaru?" Kat asked while looking away from the others "It's alright I guess, don't get me wrong I love Hikaru but sometime I wish that he could tell wants wrong or what going off in his head" I said looking down at my stomach and then back up to Kat "What do you mean?" she asked looking back at the game then to me confused "Ever since I told everyone that I was having twins he just seems distanced and strange around me" I said while looking down at my stomach again and placed a hand on it and in the corner of my eye saw that everyone was coming to join the conversation.

Everyone was listening to the problems I was having with Hikaru, when suddenly Kai's phone went off again for the tenth time that night, I looked towards him and saw him pull his phone out of his pocket and looked at it but before he could press any button I took it out of his hands and looked at the caller ID then it stopped ringing I looked at Kai and asked "Has something gone off between you and Kaoru?" he just stayed silent and looked at me before taking his phone back from me and then placed it back into his pocket before saying "Nothing has gone off, we're just not talking is all" I shook my head then looked at Kai straight in the eye and said "Well it looks like you both are not in the same boat in that one" Kai stayed silent again with everyone waiting for him to say something about him and Kaoru but he just leaned over to me and whispered "I'll tell you later about it" I just nodded my head in understanding and then looked at everyone and said "Don't worry I'll handle it" they just nodded their heads and left it at that.

Later that night, Haruhi decided to put a movie on to watch but me and Kai left the living area and went into the bedroom to talk, so that the others couldn't hear our conversation but before we reached the bedroom and I picked up some drinks for us, we entered the bedroom and I shut the door while Kai sat down before I asked "So what's wrong with you and Kaoru?" then sat down next to him and passed him, his drink "It's nothing really that bad, it's just we had a fight over something really stupid" Kai said taking his drink and then looking down at it, I sighed while looking at him then placing a hand on his shoulder and said "This fight you had, if it was something stupid as you say then why don't you talk to him and make up" Kai looked up at me for a minute before saying "Your right and thanks" I shook my head and laughed before saying "I didn't really do much to help but you're welcome" Kai laughed along with me, we then left the room to go join the others in the living room to watch the remaining minutes of the movie that was on.
