"Gheh. Hah." The big guy kept breathing hard, as though something was wrong. "Shikon... No Tama..." He picked up Kagome and threw her down on the ground, revealing that he was holding the Jewel.

"No!" Kagome said, reaching for her necklace. "Give it back!" he stabbed a sword to stop her from getting close to him.

"Huh. Gheh." he said getting up, using his sword as a cane. "Re... Strain her." he ordered.

"No!" I said trying to stop them from hurting her.

"Eh..."

"Er... Right." his two goonies said holding her up.

"Gonna be killed for sure. Ah, what a waste." the big guy swung the sword down on her but missed, hitting his guy instead.

"Gheh. Oops. My mistake." he said, as though he just made a small error instead of taking someone's life. "Hah. This time... It's your neck."

"What is this guy?" Kagome asked. I shook off the guys holding me as Kagome ran by us.

"You die." he told her.

"No way!" Kagome said, grabbing my hand and pulling me just in time to not have my head cut off.

"Wha... What are you doing Okashira!?" the bandits asked their boss. Kagome picked up a spear and pointed it at him.

"Kagome, I don't think that will work." I told her.

"St... Stay back!" she said ignoring me. "The Spear can reach further, so try something, and..." he used his word and cut through the wood of the spears staff. He was swinging his sword down on us again when it broke. I looked at the person in front of us and saw Inuyasha.

"Wha... What's with this bastard?" one of the bandits asked.

"Coming to help us..." Kagome started saying.

"Where's the Shikon no Tama!?" he asked.

"...Wasn't on his mind at all." I told her.

"Where's the jewel?" he asked again. The large Bandit got up and Inuyasha looked at him. "What an awful smell... It stinks of a reeking corpse around here... You're there, aren't you?! Shibugarasu!" Inuyasha attacked the bandit, ripping his clothes, to reveal a three eyed bird in the man's chest. Kagome and the bandits all screamed. "Sometime around last night, probably... it ate it's way into his chest and built a fucking nest."

"O... Okashira... You mean he's already dead!?" one of the bandits asked.

"I thought he was acting weird." another told him.

"How... how cruel..." Kagome said and I held her hand.

"Because the Shibugarasu's not that strong, it manipulates a damn corpse to fight." Inuyasha told us as the dead bandit picked up a sword and attacked him. "Get outta that stinking bloody next, you scum!" Inuyasha shouted as he attacked it. He stuck his fist inside the hold where the demon bird was nesting, forcing it to escape from the man's back. Inside it's mouth was...

"The Jewel!" The bird quickly flew out the window. "Ah, Crap. Wait, Damn you!" Inuyasha looked to a bow and arrow by a post and grabbed them and Kagome's arm, pulling her with him. "Come!"

"Hey! Wait for me!" I called after them. When I got outside Kagome was sitting on Inuyasha's back and they had quite a distance on me. I looked around to see if a horse was close by, but no such luck. I suddenly remembered a spell that I could use to catch up. I summoned the air around me and pushed myself so I could keep up the other two.

"You won't get away, damn it." Inuyasha called to it.

"Amane?!" Kagome said looking at me. "How are you keeping up with Inuyasha?" she asked me.

"An air spell that my parents taught me." I told her.

"What are you doing?!" Inuyasha yelled at her. "Hurry up and shoot it down!"

"Do... don't say something so absurd! My experience with a bow and arrow is..." she tried telling him but he wouldn't listen to her.

"Did you know that, this bastard only feeds on humans." he told her. "You wouldn't want it to become something demonic, would you?" I looked up to the bird to see what we didn't want to see.

"It just swallowed the Jewel!" I said.

"I'll see if I can do it!" Kagome told us.

"Right!" Inuyasha said agreeing with her.

"You can do it in one shot! Kikyou was a master of the bow!" Inuyasha told her.

"I'm Kagome, damn it!" she yelled at him. She prepared the first arrow in the bow and released it. It flew through the air before falling back to earth. "Huh?" she said confused as to why it didn't hit. "When you said Kikyou was a master of the bow... was that a lie?"

"You're just damn clumsy aren't you?" Inuyasha asked her.

"Yes, she is." I told him.

"Hey! Aren't you supposed to be on my side?" she asked me.

"Look!" We watched as the bird changed into a terrifying creature.
