AN: Hey everyone! As I said before in the previous chapter, this is still a WIP. It is incomplete and I'm not sure if I will ever finish it. If anyone has any suggestions I would not mind hearing them.
Rise of a New Dawn ch.
Fang and first meeting
A boy with long black hair observed the tourist crowd moving through the ruins. His yellow eyes wondered from person to person, until they settled on two in particular. The boys he saw in his vision. The first boy was easy to spot with his bright orange hair that stood out even in the densest of crowds. The second boy wasn't seen until he moved closer to the edge of the group. This boy, to most, was nothing noteworthy or special by any means, but to him, this boy was everything. This boy had long black hair, like himself, and it, unlike his, was tied back in a neat, low ponytail and his bangs hung by the sides of his face coming no farther than his chin. The boy's black eyes met his for a split second before looking back to his tall friend walking along beside him. He shuttered with excitement as he remembered the unique eyes both of these boys possessed. Being a huge fan for the weird and unique he had to witness these eyes for himself one way or another, and maybe, if he was lucky, possess them. He shifted his bangs to cover more of his eyes and pulled his black hood over his head as he merged into the crowd with practiced ease. He slipped in beside the second boy and slowed his pace to match his. The black haired boy and his friend glanced over but didn't say anything. "Hey, what's your name?" He asked in a sickly sweet, slightly raspy voice. His yellow eyes barely seen under the shadow of his hood. The boy glanced over at him once more before returning his attention to where he was walking.
"It's only polite to give your name before asking for someone else's." the boy said in a smooth even tone. His friend walking beside him whispered something into his ear, the boy whispered back. Seemingly satisfied with the answer he got, he stood back to full height and continued to follow their tour guide.
"Oh forgive me. Where are my manners?" The boy with yellow eyes purred. "My given name is not important, but you may call me Fang."
"My name is Jacob Matthews, but you may call me Jake. And this is my best friend, Dane Turk." Jake said, gesturing toward the man standing next to him. Dane stared at Fang warily. Those who were unwilling to give their real name usually had a reason, and that reason usually wasn't very good.
"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Fang said, lowering his hood to show his face. His face was a ghostly white and slightly rectangular. His eyes were almost a cat eye yellow and were defined by black and purple eyeliner and eyeshadow. "I couldn't help but notice your ring. It's quite beautiful for how simple it is."
