She had found a way into my barriers and for the life of me I couldn't figure out how. She looked like a goddess in that dress and the way she listened made me want to spill everything to her. My revenge seemed so distant compared to her. Somehow I found myself falling for her fast in a single night. The kiss she gave me felt like words unspoken. Her words still are fresh in my head, This is for everything…
She was all needed to feel happy again and her presence made me feel a way no one had ever made me feel in a long time, wanted. That's when I realized she wasn't in my arms anymore and she was no longer in my vision.
My body impacted as I sped into the ballroom but could not find her as I desperately looked everywhere. She had left me and I didn't even know her name.
"Timber!"
The shouts could be heard from the party goers as they all moved away from where I was standing. The food tables were turned over and decorations torn to pieces. That's when one of the stone pillars cracked and I turned just in time to crash into it. My body was sprawled on the floor and light went in and out of my vision. Screams were the last thing I heard before I fell into the darkness.
The next morning
My eyes opened up slightly and saw Kakorat's disgusting face. Immediately I jumped in surprise only to hit my head against the pillar that was currently trapping me.
"Gosh Vegeta you must have really been tired you missed out on all the fuss last night."
"You idiot! Last night I…that's it!"
"What's it?"
"The girl last night with the blue hair! Her friend was socializing with you wasn't she?"
"Yah" he replied dreamily. "She was real pretty and nice."
"Enough day dreaming and get this thing off of me!"
"Sorry!" he said before breaking the pillar into pieces.
Vegeta slowly got up and saw his reflection in a nearby window, sneering before replying, "Did you get the female's contact information?"
"You mean her number? Yah she gave it to me last night."
"Call her and ask her for her address, were going over there."
"But why?"
"Chances are slim but I bet the mystery girl is with her now, but first change out of that suit and into your training clothes."
Luckily when he and kakorat would spar he would always wear his clothes underneath everything even the suit he was wearing right now which was currently tattered. He used the sink water and splashed it on his hair and face before drying it with a paper towel.
"Good news Vegeta I got her address!"
"Great lead the way kakorat" I sneered before we took off into the sky.
Bulma POV
The morning sky interrupted my thoughts as the sunlight blinded me. Last night was such an emotional experience and I'm sure my parents were out looking for me now. Footsteps echoed as Chi-Chi made her presence known to me. She was already dressed for the day while I was still in my dress snoring on her living room couch.
"So did they call?"
"If you mean your parents than yes but don't worry I'm a good actress, dad won't be back for another 5 hours since that's when he gets off of work, apparently there was some freak accident about a pillar falling at the dance."
"Huh."
"That's all you have to say? Look just put these on" she said throwing me a change of clothes, "we have guests coming over."
"Really who?"
"That boy from the dance you dragged me away from."
"Oh sorry."
"It's fine friends are there for you no matter how cute a boy might seem."
I manage a small smile before heading to the bathroom. Quickly I undress before showering and drying my hair. I slip on the pink tee with the logo "BAD GIRL" with bell bottom jeans and some casual flip flops. My hair hangs in its usual form as I walk out and down the steps. The door bell ringing stops me however as I peer through the corner unseen.
It's the boy from before but he brought a friend along, he brought Vegeta.
Vegeta POV
The door opens and reveals the girl I saw earlier. She smiles at Kakorat but her eyes stop at me with a surprised expression.
"Vegeta?!"
"Funny I don't remember ever telling you my name, she's here isn't she?"
The girl shakes her head no but her eyes avoid mine.
I knew it!
Without a second though I barge in and shout, "Girl! Don't make me come and get you!"
That's when I spot the smallest movement at the top of the staircase. My eyes meet her blue ones as she run upstairs but I'm quicker. I charge after her and corner her in the hall way my hands forming a cage around either side of her body. She struggles but I hold her in place.
"Stop squirming girl!"
"Vegeta what are you doing here?!"
"Funny I thought you'd be happy to see me" I smirk.
"Well I…"
"Enough of this I want answers and I want them now!"
"Okay Vegeta just calm down."
"Starting with what your name is."
She takes a deep breath and I know she's hesitant but I see that fire in her eyes as she speaks, "My name is Bulma, Bulma Briefs."
For a minute I'm left without words to say to this girl who I'm supposed hate but am more than anything attracted to.
"Listen I didn't want to tell you because I knew you'd hate me but I just don't belong in your world and I—"
"My world isn't perfect but I know that you are the only one who I care about right now. What you said about your parents surely that wasn't a lie?"
"No…I was still me up there in the balcony and I was still the same girl who meant that kiss."
"Then come with me and you can escape that nightmare, I know what it's like to have bad parents and I wish I had escaped sooner."
"But where would I go?"
"Anywhere as long as I'm with you of course" I smirk.
"My parents—"
"Trust me I know somewhere that they'll never find you."
"Sounds like kidnapping to me" she teases.
Then I lean down and whisper in her ear, "It's not kidnapping if you want me to take you away."
"What about Chi-Chi?"
"She has that clown Kakorat to company her."
"I can't believe I'm saying this but…okay" she smiles.
"Smart girl"
Then I'm kissing her. She drives me crazy as she runs her hands up and down my back. My hands tangle in her hair as my mouth his rough and hungry on hers she kisses back with such force and passion that I moan. I slip my tongue into her mouth before playing with her own.
Such a stubborn one she is
Eventually we draw apart for the need to breathe as she leans into me, checks flushed and so are mine. Those blue eyes stare up at me tenderly and I feel weird inside.
"When do we leave?" she asks.
"Right now actually."
We walk down the steps and catch kakorat and the girl known as Chi-chi kissing each other and things seem to be getting interesting.
"Ahem!"
Both partners break apart looking embarrassed. Kakorat turns to open his mouth but I cut him off before he has a chance to.
"Me and Bulma are leaving."
"Bulma is this true?" Chi-chi wonders.
"Yes."
"When will you be back?"
"Don't know" I answer simply for her.
"Do you trust him?"
"I do."
This answer causes me to smirk but this girl is still not convinced.
"Listen Chi-chi this is what I want and my parents don't give me freedom or a choice and for the first time I'm doing both."
"I…I know."
Then both Bulma and Chi-chi hug and begin to cry they say their goodbyes before Bulma returns to my side.
"Take care of her for me okay?" says Bulma eyeing Kakorat suspiciously. He nods obediently before wrapping Chi-chi up in a fierce hug.
"We may have to make some pit-stops along the way."
"Why?" I ask.
"Because I think it be smart to have some money don't you think? After all our parents our pretty loaded."
"True alright let's go" I say before scooping her onto my back.
"Vegeta!"
"Calm down Bul-mousse and hold on tight."
Then were up and soaring and I hear her scream, but not one of terror but excitement. Now I didn't know where exactly I was going but I knew that once I'd saw it I'd know. Eventually Bulma relaxed as I felt her sleep against my chest. I rolled my eyes before a small genuine smile appeared at the corner of my mouth.
Sleep soundly Bulma when you awaken your life will begin again
