At a young age Atem and his brother are seperated. 10 years later, Atem is a professional Duelist and invites his brother Yugi to come live with him in Domino city. With Atem now reconnected with his brother a dark force is rising within the city. With a single goal it looks to end the new generation duelist. Can Atem and Yugi fight back against this great power?

Chapter 3 The inner beast part 2

Yugi stared at his Neon Beast Gecko. The little blue lizard stared and blinked it's yellow eye ball at him. This can't be happening, Yugi talked to himself.

"Hey Kid hurry up" Gin yelled at him for taking his time. Yugi looking at his hand filled with spells and one monster card.

Kuri Kuri, the Gecko spoke to him.

"You want me to play you", Yugi spoke softly to himself. The Gecko nodded inside the card. This is Crazy, He said to himself and laid the card down. "I play my Neon Beast Gecko (atk 1500 def 1500 4 star beast-type) in attack mode"

The Gecko came out of his card bouncing around and stared angrily at his opponent before realizing its opponent is a dragon monster. the dragon growls at the lizard casing it to retreat behind yugi.

"What kind of joke is this?" Gin laughed. "Your monster is scared of mine. That's a good trick where did you learn that? Grade school"

"Its okay. Just try your best out there" Yugi spoke to Gecko. Gecko moved back to his place and assumed his fighting stance. "I play two facedown cards and end my turn"

Gin drawing his card looked at Yugi with a grin. "Well since your lizard hates my dragon I'll just sacrifice it for this other dragon" The dragon disappears from the field, "Now i summons my Dragon Ultra-Tech Yanjeel (atk 2400 def 500 5 star machine-type) and i attack your Neon Beast Gecko"

The dragon let out a giant fireball from its mouth and burst through the field towards Gecko.

"I activate my quickspell card, The Trumpet sound off" Yugi flipping his spell card up. "It activates if a Neon Beast is targeted by an attack. It allows me to summon another Neon Beast from my deck whose star level equals the number of stars my Gecko has."

Gecko lets out a sigh and looks at his master with confidence in his ability. "i summons Neon Beast Gordon (atk 1900 def 100 4 star beast-type)" A giant dark blue bear with pitch black eyes appears towering over Gecko. The bear roars as star shaped marks appear across its body. "His special ability activates to negates your attack if i have its friend Gecko on the field. You cannot attack any Neon Beast as long as he is on the field."

Gecko approaches Gordon and hugs his leg only to be kicked off by Gordon. Gecko kuri's at him for pushing him. Gordon ignores him and looks at the dragon and waits for his chance to attack. Gecko turning towards Yugi complains about Gordon.

"ITs okay maybe he just want to focus on the duel" Yugi talks to Gecko. Gecko scratches his head and gives him a Kuri to turn around to continue the duel.

"This is ridiculous" Gin annoyed by staring at yugi's monster "I end my turn with another face down."

Yugi drew his next card to find it to be his favorite Neon beast Ryu Dragon. "I summons Ryu Dragon in attack mode (atk 1800 def 1500 4 star beast type). I also activate my spell card Neon courage to special summon one more neon beast from my deck." Yugi's red dragon appeared by the other two monster side and yugi began to search his deck for another monster. "I choose Neon Beast Green Howler (atk 1700 def 1400 4 star beast type)."

"That's cute. All your monster seem to be based on those adorable little stuff animal dolls. You still think you can beat me" Gin laughed realizing the cards looked like the doll that were popular with kids.

"You won't be laughing when they reveal they're hidden power." Yugi said with confidence as he revealed his secret weapon, Polymerization. "I fuse Neon beast Gordon, Howler, and Ryu dragon to form the Neon Warrior Dragon Rider Gordon (atk 3000 def 2500 8 star beast-warrior type)." Howler glowed with a bright light and cover Gordon in armor as he jumped on top of Ryu Dragon who also received armor from howler.

"And that is adorable. Too bad you activated my trap." Gin laughed. "My Ultra crush card will now destroy your beast because you special summoned more than once this turn while I control one monster on the field."

"No" Yugi panicked as a wave from his trap card destroyed his card. Gecko looked at Yugi in fear. "I'm sorry" He looked at what was left in his hand and laid another card face down.

"Now let me show you something." Gin drew his card and smiled. "I activate this card known as Ultra Tech vision. With this I can tribute one monster and treat it as two tribute when I summon another machine monster." His monster disappeared as the next one took it place. "I summon Ultra Tech Dragon Jonjool (atk 3100 def 0 8 star machine type)" a mechanized dragon appeared from the ground letting out cyber roar. "When he is summon you monster is switched to defense mode"

Yugi watched as Gecko shifted his battle position to defense. "When he attack a defense position, he can attack again after" Gin let out another maniacal laugh. "Go Ultra Tech!"

"I'll save you" Yugi yelled as he activated his card. "Neon winds!"

A gust of wind blew across the field to stop the attack from going through. "What?"

"If I have exactly one neon beast on the field I can negate one attack and end the battle phase." Yugi explained. Gecko teared up as Yugi saved him from destruction.

Gin looked at his card once more, "I place this card face down in defense mode. My turn ends here but next turn is my victory."

Yugi drew his card. I have no idea what to do. Looking up he watch Gecko smiling at him as if he knows a secret yugi didn't.
