STORY TIME!
"I'm not getting any answers from Charlene, sir," Philby informed Finn in the midst of the chaos. Everyone who wasn't out roaming the parks were running around, trying to do everything at once, Wayne just casually sitting on a bench.
"I got a bird's eye view of the entire park," Willa yelled above the noise.
"I know this boy!" Finn said, looking at the picture of Louwski. "Where have I seen him?"
"Everybody SHUTTTTTTT UP!" Amanda yelled, and everything stopped. "Thank you," she sighed. "Now. Willa. That scan?"
"The red dots are Mr. Wayne, us, and the Whiteman Agency. Any green dots will be people that aren't part of that list of people, and yellow dots are any biological form that aren't human," Willa explained.
"Charlene Turner, still no response," Philby said, looking up from his work.
"It seems like a large group of green dots are coming in our direction. And at high speeds as well. Surrounding us from both sides," Willa said.
"Get ready!" Amanda announced, pulling out her gun. Finn pulled one out as well, back to back with the leader of the rivaling agency.
"We are approaching outside tracks!" Micheal yelled back to Jess, hanging upside down from the ceiling.
The two of them started crawling down the wall until the tunnel opened up to the park. The wind whipped Jess's ponytail around. They grabbed onto the side of the tracks and then whipped around so they were hanging upside down. Jess tilted her head back and gasped, her brain spinning in her head as she saw how far away the ground was. The concrete ground.
"Don't look down!" Micheal hissed, keeping his chin up so he wouldn't be looking at the ground below them.
"I'll try!" Jess said, tucking her chin into her chest and starting forward. The suction cups on her hands and feet made popping sounds as she crawled under the tracks. She couldn't help it, she looked back down again. As she did, her suction cups broke free of the tracks, and she screamed. Micheal's head spun around as he saw the girl falling off the tracks and spiraling headfirst towards the concrete.
"JESS!"
"Turner!" Maybeck whispered. The shadows seemed to be closing in, he couldn't see past his own nose. "Hey, Turner! Where are you?"
"Maybeck? Is that you?" A voice came from through the shadows.
"Who else would it be?"
"I found my flashlight!" Charlene said, flicking on the light and screaming. A beast was two inches away from her face, his teeth bared and drool dripping from his lips. He looked like some kind of dog. Maybeck's instincts shot into play as he lifted his gun and shot the animal in it's leg, sending it flying away from Charlene. Charlene's eyes were wide, her breathing heavy. "Woah."
"Didn't see that coming," Maybeck said as he stepping in front of Charlene, holding his gun pointed at the dog. "Analyze."
"Looks like a hyena."
"Like in the Lion King?"
"Really? A Disney movie? NOW? I mean the real ones, the ones from Africa!" Charlene rolled her eyes, leaning to the side to hold out her gun without it pointing at Maybeck. The hyena was rolling on the ground, trying to stand. It's whimpers attracted more of the hyenas.
"Looks like our little buddy has a few friends," Maybeck said, his eyes widening.
"Yeah, a few," Charlene snorted, as the pair were surrounded by hundreds upon hundreds of hyenas.
Maybeck slowly turned to Charlene. "I'm going to need a lot more amo."
