At the Cell
Hiccup met eyes with his former father. The one who betrayed him. "Evening, Chief Stoick of Berk." Hiccup replied cooly trying to let the nerves subside. His father looked broken, the green from his eyes losing its color, Stoick's hair grew grey hair throughout his head and beard. A lot must have happened since I left Hiccup thought. Stoick opened his mouth to talk but no sound came up, his throat was dry. What was he going to say to his son? Can things go back to normal? Will he still be the same fishbone? Finally, the chief regained his posture and spoke," Nice to see you home son, glad to see you don't have that spawn of the devil with you. Let's go to the mead hall where we can talk about where you have been and what you will be doing now that you're back." Stoick finally looked at Hiccup as a whole. His son was built, and the armor Hiccup was wearing. Covered in Nightfury black dragon scales, a new discovery the boy's leg was replaced by a prosthetic one. Stoick kept note to ask about it later. Hiccup cleared his throat. "Actually Stoick I'm here for treaty purposes and meeting a deal, I'm not staying for long. As for the dragon, his name is Toothless and he si very much my best friend compared to the village cost casted me out." Stoick confused why the dragon wasn't near the boy and what did he mean he was here for a treaty. "At least you can come to the Mead hall and eat dinner with us."Stoick stated firmly, "We can talk about the treaty later." Hiccup looked at the old man while Stoick was unlocking the cell. "Okay, yeah that works."
In The Mead Hall
The group made their way to the Mead hall and entered. Villagers all looked up to see Hiccup and most sneered for shook their heads then returned back to eating. As soon as Hiccup sat down by Stoick, Gobber and the teens he was questioned all at once. Hiccup immediately grew annoyed and shouted, "ENOUGH! One at a time, Gods." Stoick went first, "Where have you been boy?" Hiccup laughed and took a bite into his chicken leg. "I've been here, there, everywhere." The table looked confused, why was Hiccup so vague. Astrid then spoke," Do you still have that Nightfury or did you kill him?" "Did you not hear in the jail where I said he's alive and his name is Toothless."Ruffnut then interjected, "Yeah well where is he?" Looking around and Tuffnut begun to laugh, "TOOTHLESS, probably left Hiccup at its first chance." Hiccup pulled out from his neck a whistle and blew into it. Within seconds a screeching noise interrupted the silent night. "Nightfury get down!" A villager called. Suddenly the Mead hall doors opened to reveal the jet black dragon flying towards Hiccup and landed next to him. Except there was someone on the Nightfury, a girl. "Cami nice to see you this fine evening how is Rosie?" Camicazi slid off Toothless and sat next to Hiccup, "She would be better if you had told us you planned on coming into the village." Toothless shot a plasma blast by Hiccup's feet in agreement. "Come on bud it was only for a couple of hours." The teens stood in shock not knowing whether to kill the dragon or let it be. "So son why is this dragon in our village, they continuously kill us." Hiccup rolled his eyes and took another bite of his chicken leg. "He is not going to harm anyone and he's not staying in the village. We are camping in the forest during our stay as guests." Snoutlout interjected," Sorry useless there isn't any room for ex-heirs." Stoick threw dagger eyes to Snoutlout. "Fine son we will all this here dragon to stay for the time being. In return I need you to help Gobber at the forge tomorrow then we will discuss this business deal." Gobber responded, "Yeah let's see if you still have the blacksmith touch after you were gone." Hiccup agreed and for the rest of the meal, the table was in silence. Cami and Hiccup left which resulted in the teens, Gobber, and Stoick to imagine what happened to Hiccup.
Cami slid off Toothless's back to greet her dragon," Rosie!" The white dragon leaped towards Cami in delight. Hiccup and Toothless began chuckling until Cami and Rosie turned and began chasing after them. Cami leaped at Hiccup but he knew she was going to do that exactly and instead picked her up. "Hiccup. Let. Me. Down." Cami said while trying to punch him. Hiccup just shook his head, "Cami did you really think you could take me down?" "At least I could try dragon boy," Cami stuck her tongue out but Hiccup couldn't see. Finally, her feet touched the ground and Camicazi struck his arm playfully, "AH HELP IM DOWN." Hiccup began to fall down and acted as if he died. She laughed at him and helped him to his feet. "Hiccup what's our plan now?" Cami asked Hiccup took a second tapping on his jaw," We might be able to make a deal with Stoick and he told help us take him down." Camicazi nodded walking over to Rosie and petting her. "Hiccup we aren't going to stay here forever right? This is only temporary?" "Yes just for a little while until we end this once and for all. I'm not running away anymore, not again." Hiccup stated with determination gleaming in his eyes. Toothless took this opportunity to throw fish in Hiccup's face causing the boy to recoil in disgust. "Aw come on Toothless!" Eventually, the Berkians and the guests began to settle in and fall asleep. Yet the teens and Stoick had a tougher time wondering where had Hiccup been and what happened to him?
NEXT DAY
Hiccup appeared bright and early at the Forge walking in to be greeted by Gobber."There ye are Hiccup I need ye help with the swords!" The older blacksmith called. Hiccup followed Gobber to the pile of bent swords and began unbending them in no time while Gobber began to sharpen axes. Tuffnut was tasked with overseeing Hiccup today at the forge upon Stoick's request. The teen was a little taken back by how easily Hiccup could unbend the swords, nearly none of the teens could do it including himself. Tuffnut had to know how Hiccup did it. "Hiccup how are you unbending the swords so easily?" Hiccup just shrugged and continued his assignment. Then Tuffnut asked again but differently."Where did you learn to unbend swords?" Tuffnut was hit with the same nonverbal response. Tuffnut quickly grew irritated and pulled his dagger out then threw it aiming closer to the wall by Hiccup but it was Tuffnut throwing the dagger and he was not known for accuracy. The weapon was beelining for the back of Hiccup's head. Tuffnut attempted to yell but the words got caught in his throat. All Tuffnut could do was turn and hear the slicing noise from the dagger, except there was no noise or screaming. Tuffnut turned around to see the dagger in Hiccup's hand while his gaze was still focused on the swords. The boy's jaw dropped, did Hiccup the Useless just catch his dagger while not even looking at it, not even Astrid could do that. Hiccup then just placed it next to him as if nothing happened. Tuffnut took another dagger from his person and eyed Hiccup. Then he acted as if he was walking away while Hiccup moved to smelt some kind of metal, Tuffnut need to see Hiccup catch this dagger for real this time. Tuffnut threw this dagger faster than he ever thought was possible which resulted in Hiccup reaching out his hand to catch the dagger perfectly centimeters from his body. Hiccup looked back at Tuffnut with annoyance spread across his face. "Dude stop I'm busy." Tuffnut was still awestruck that Hiccup caught it like it was a measly rock and begun to nod while Hiccup handed him his dagger. Tuffnut ran looking for Astrid knowing she was definitely going to want to see this. Hiccup shrugged and went back to smelting.
"Astrid there is something you want to see immediately!" Tuffnut called when he spotted her by the center of the village. "What is it" Astrid responded. "It's Hiccup he caught my dagger that I threw at him TWICE!" Tuffnut exclaimed still shocked by what happened. "You threw a dagger at the chief's son?" Astrid was bewildered by Tuffnut. "Yes and no, but that's not the point he caught it. Without even looking." Astrid had no doubt in her mind that Tuffnut was lying, no wonder everyone thought he was related to Loki himself. She decided to play along so maybe she could talk to Hiccup. "Okay, where is he?" Astrid said. Tuffnut ran to the Forge with Astrid following. "Do you have your Axe?" Tuffnut whispered to Astrid."Yeah." Astrid replied.
"Good now go up to Hiccup behind him and throw it." Astrid was confused, "Why not just a rock or something small. I'm not trying to kill Hiccup." Tuffnut shook his head, "No use your axe." Astrid sighed and prayed to the gods that Hiccup would move or hopefully no get to injured. She stood behind Hiccup and aimed for somewhere soft on him, his arm Astrid released her axe and it went hurdling to Hiccup's arm. Hiccup turned around and caught it and looked straight in the eyes of Astrid his eyes felt cold and isolated she never saw him this way Hiccup's eyes were even slit like a snake. Astrid came up to Hiccup and took the axe and ran to Stoick to tell him about what just happened...
