Well, here is Chapter 4 for Comedy Duo. CD, for short, LOL... There's glue in this chapter, too. I bet you can see where this is going...
Chapter 4: Glue can stick to anything, you know?
It was the early morning as Len grabbed a banana and started to peel it before eating it. Then he went to the door and opened it. In front of him was a small brown box. Len picked it up excitedly.
"IT'S HERE!" Len said happily. "IT'S FINALLY HERE! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S FINALLY HERE!"
At that moment, Kaito came downstairs. His blue hair was messed up and disheveled. Overall, he looked well-rested.
"Len, what's finally came?" he said.
Len opened his package excitedly. He held up a small glue bottle. "My glue is here!"
"And you ordered a bottle of glue because..."
"To glue things! Why else would I order glue? I paid 500 yen* for this stuff and I'm not throwing it away for anyone! The only problem is, what should I use it on first?"
Kaito facepalmed. He knew where this was going.
"Len, where are we going?" Kaito asked.
"To Rin's dorm. Where else?" Len said.
"Why Rin? Why not anyone else?"
"Because Rin is an awesome prankee. Besides, what I have in mind will only work on her?"
"If she gets you back, I can't do anything about it, you know?"
The two of them walk into Rin's dorm and Len immediately went for her dresser. Opening one of the drawers, Len took out a bunch of her shirts, shorts and other garments.
"So, what are we going to do?" Kaito asked.
Len started to roll her clothes up into small clumps. "Okay, we're going to glue Rin's clothes together. And when she tries to take them apart, they'll rip."
And you're doing this because...," Kaito asked.
"Because Rin is an awesome prankee! That's why," Len replied. "You need to have a little more... danger in your life, Kaito. You mess with a girl and you get chased out of her room by one. It's just human nature." With that, Len began to apply a large amount of glue to the clumps of clothes.
"Len, if you do this, Rin won't have any clothes to put on tomorrow," Kaito said.
"She can just wear the same thing she has on today," Len replied.
"But for a week straight?"
"She can just buy new clothes..."
"Rin will need money. She'll need yen!"
"You know, if you want out, just say so!"
That was the final straw for Kaito. He placed his hand on Len's shoulder before leaving the dorm. Len watched him as he left.
"Oh well," Len said to himself. "Forget him. I can carry this out myself." He continued to apply large amounts of superglue on the clumps of clothes.
The next day, at the Academy, Kaito and Len took their places in their respective seats. The two of them didn't speak or even look at each other. When Kaito and Len did look at each other, they simply glared at each other for a few minutes before turning away from the other boy. The tension between Kaito and Len was clearly evident to the other students.
"Hey, what's going on with Shion and Kagamine?"
"How should I know? They're not talking to each other?"
"Maybe they had a falling-out."
"Seems like it."
At that point, Len saw Rin enter the room. And Len was not disappointed.
Rin was in her trademark clothes, but they were far from clean. Rin's clothes were covered in grime and dirt stains. There were even some oil stains on the side and back of her shirt. Rin was also missing her trademark ribbon that was on her head. Finally, her face, which bore a very angry expression, had two mud stains on both of her cheeks. Without saying a word, Rin took her seat.
"Woah, Rin-chan," Len exclaimed. "You look good today! Did you buy that outfit yesterday?" He tried hard not to burst into peals of laughter. In the seat next to him, Kaito shook his head in shame. When Len saw that, something ached inside of Len.
Rin gave her brother a death glare.
"This is not funny," she said bitterly. "Some idiot broke into my room and messed with my clothes."
Neru, who was sitting behind Len, asked," Why couldn't you wash the clothes you had on yesterday?"
"Because I came home late last night and I had to go to bed early," Rin replied. "When I find out who screwed with my clothes..."
Kaito and Len glared at each other.
Suddenly, Len stood up and grabbed Kaito by the arm before leading him into the hallway.
"What is it, Len?" Kaito demanded angrily, anger clearly etched on his features.
"I'm sorry..."
Kaito's face softened. "What?"
Len dropped to his knees. "I'm sorry. I'm really, really sorry. I didn't mean to be a jerk to you. I guess that I was so caught up in the prank that I didn't think about what you wanted." He bowed his head. "Forgive me, Kaito."
A silence. Then Kaito said, "You can stand up now, Len."
Len stood up and Kaito suddenly hugged him*. Though, after a while, Len pushed away.
"Dude, we really shouldn't be hugging in public like this," Len said. "The girls in the class will get the wrong idea.
Kaito laughed. "Sorry."
"Oh, and by the way, you won't tell Rin-chan that I screwed with her clothes, right?"
"It's fine. Your secret is safe with me."
"What!"
Kaito and Len quickly turn around and see an enraged Rin and a fangirling Miku and Neru.
"So, Len. You were the one who broke into my room and messed with my clothes?!" Rin roared.
In the background, Miku and Neru were chanting, "Boys Love! Boys Love! What's next?! An X-rated scene?!"
Kaito and Len looked at each other.
"Len, we're screwed!"
"Royally, my friend! ROYALLY! RUN?!"
"RUN!"
And so, Kaito and Len ran for theirs with a "demon-possessed" Rin ran after them, grabbing and brandishing a metal pipe and shouting curses after them.
So, to make a long story short: Don't mess with Rin or her clothes!
First update in a while. It really feels good to be back.
*Does this count as shounen-ai?
Hope you enjoyed! :)
