Sorry for the long wait, and thanks for all of your reviews. Please enjoy this chapter and continue to review! =) Also sorry for constantly saying Kagome's mom but I have no idea what her mother's name is, if you know please tell me!. =) Also I know some of this is out of sync with the time-line from the anime however I had to change things up a bit to make this story make sense. Thanks for your reviews!

CHAPTER FOUR

Kagome watched the familiar pink light surround her and she felt herself falling through time, sadness and happiness filled her body. Sorrow at the thought of not seeing the two she considered sisters again and happiness at the thought of seeing Inu-Yasha, Shippo, Miroku, Sango, Kaede, Kirara and her mom and Souta and her Grandpa. Her three best friends from her era were on her mind as well but in some-ways she felt that she had out-grown them. "I wonder which time the well is going to take me?" Kagome thought. Her thoughts were answered in a minute as a familiar shrine roof appeared above her, Kagome smiled and a tear ran down her cheek, she was home. Kagome climbed up out of the well and ran to her house, "Mom I'm home!" Kagome hollered as she burst into her house. Her mom and grandpa came running to great her.

"Kagome it's so nice to have you back. Are you going to be able to stay the night?" Kagome blinked. "Um yeah I can stay for the night. Just curious how long have I been gone?" Kagome asked curiously. Her mother blinked and exchanged a questioning glance with her grandpa. "You've been gone for two weeks now. Are you okay honey? Do you have a fever?" Kagome's mother asked placing a hand on Kagome's brow. "I'm fine I just lost track of time you know since they don't keep track of time over there. Oh and I'll need to re-supply...do we have another backpack I could use? Preferably a darker colored one?" Kagome asked trying to change the subject all the while freaking out inside. "I have your dad's old one, its black and dark green is that all right?" Kagome's mom asked gently. "Yeah that would be great!" Kagome replied excitedly, she was relieved that her diversion worked. "Thank you Crimson for those lessons on subject switching even though momma's not an enemy..." Kagome's thoughts trailed off as her mother's voice broke through her concentration.

"Why don't you take a bath and I'll make supper?" Kagome's mom said with a smile. Kagome smiled and nodded eager to finally have a bath with hot running water. Kagome smiled at the thought and hurried up to her room. After relaxing in the bath-tub for about five minutes Kagome couldn't stand it anymore and got up draining the water and drying off before pulling on her evening clothes without thought. Only after Kagome had went downstairs and received a strange look from her little brother, mother and grandpa did she realize that she had changed into her evening clothes from Crimson's time. Her clothes were a pair of black jeans that fit her like a glove but were comfortable and easy to move in, a black T-shirt and a pair of black ankle socks. "I've grown too really like the color black." Kagome said with a shrug and a smile trying to alleviate her mother and grandpa's obvious worry about her sudden dark attire. Although Kagome's grandpa and mother still looked slightly worried they just nodded and accepted her answer as they all sat down to enjoy the meal.

TWO HOURS LATER

Kagome lay on her bed and for the first time let her thoughts drift to the past two years that to her mom and family here on this side of the well had only been two weeks. "Two weeks huh? I wonder how long it's been for Inu-yasha and the other's?" Kagome wondered out loud. "I guess I should go back tomorrow and see, but for now…" Kagome yawned and pulled the covers up to her chin, "I need to get some sleep."

THE NEXT MORNING:

Kagome yawned and stretched before quickly jumping out of bed and getting ready for the day. Kagome had just finished pulling on her workout clothes when she remembered where and when she was. "Well I guess I can go back over since I'm up already." Kagome mused out-loud. She glanced at her alarm clock and saw that it was only 5:33 so she decided to get breakfast and wash up before leaving a note for her mom and going back over the well.

Kagome looked up at the familiar sky of the Feudal Era and smiled happy to be back and anxious to see her friends and the half-dog demon that she was in love with even if he drove her crazy. Speaking of which, "I wonder why he's not here yet." Kagome muttered as she begin to climb out of the well. She had just reached the top when a familiar clawed hand reached down, Kagome grabbed the hand and felt herself being pulled out of the well. "Kagome!" Several different voices hollered with happiness and soon Kagome was surrounded by her friends. "Kagome where were you? Are you alright? Inu-yasha tried going through the well to make sure that you were okay but the well wouldn't let him through." Shippo said as he buried his head into her hair from his position on her shoulder. Kagome hugged Shippo tightly before setting him down on the ground, "I'm fine. I was…well why don't we all go to Kaede's and I'll tell you all what happened. By the way how long was I gone?" Kagome asked curiously. Sango and Miroku exchanged glances and then looked at Kagome curiously while Inu-yasha scoffed and looked away in a fit Shippo was the one who answered, "You were gone for two weeks. Did you hit your head? Are you still mad at Inu-yasha?" Shippo asked his curiosity getting the better of him. "No Shippo I'm fine I was just curious about the time-line here. I've been on a little adventure and...well why don't we all go to Kaede's and I'll tell you guys all about it." Kagome said.

THREE MONTHS LATER:

Kagome smiled as she watched Rin, the human girl who traveled with Shesshomaru, and Shippo, who had just two weeks ago asked to call her mother, color together while Inu-yasha and Shesshomaru fought. Honestly she didn't know who started it this time but insults had been thrown and here the two half-brothers were fighting, which had started to become the normal since the two groups had started traveling together. It seemed that they had silently agreed not to use their 'special attack's' with the kids near so Kagome, Sango and Miroku decided to stay out of it. Kagome let out a soft sigh, she missed Crimson and Adenah, she had told the Inu-gang as they had taken to calling themselves, all about her two years and at first they hadn't believed her until she showed them her improvements in fighting and her miko abilities.

She had taken on Kagura, one of Naruku's evil incarnations and put up a barrier so she fought alone, and she won within four minutes of fighting. That and her physical changes as well as the several scars that she had gotten from those two years and the tattoo sealed it. Her friends had been surprised but she noticed that Inu-yasha had stopped comparing her to Kagome and even had once complimented her telling her that Kikyo hadn't been able to do what she had done. The whole group had been shocked into several hours of silence while Inu-yasha had marched ahead his face red with embarrassment.

School had started again for Kagome but she got her mom to agree to her being home-schooled so she went back and did her school work over the weekend on the computer which was so much easier then only being able to stay in the Feudal Era for two to three days' at a time. Kagome laid back onto the soft grass and stared up at the sky watching the clouds drift past, the kids laughter and familiar sounds of metal on metal and slaps faded into the background as Kagome thought of Crimson and Adenah. All of the sudden a hole appeared in the sky and Kagome couldn't believe her eyes.

"Crud! Look out below!" A female voice hollered from the sky causing Inu-Yasha and Shesshomaru to stop fighting for a second and look up. A woman in a black sleeveless shirt and strange black half-pants was literally falling from the sky. Right towards the feuding brothers who were now staring up at her in shock which Shesshomaru quickly tried to hide and Inu-yasha begin to cuss to hide while Kagome who had jolted up into a standing position. The female fell quickly but somehow managed to slow her descent and gently land on the ground. "Sugar plums and fairy whistles that could have been a disaster!" The woman exclaimed when she was suddenly slammed into by a disbelieving Kagome who hollered, "Crimson!"
