Logan, Daniel, and Tyler backed away from the door as Kassidy cracked it. Tyler ran towards the exit "Get out. NOW!" he yelled. Logan and Daniel obeyed and ran through the exit. Tyler locked the door from the inside. "Get out of there, Tyler!" Daniel and Logan said in usion. He nodded his head and signaled them to wait. They watch Tyler through the window.

Kassidy walked towards the door. She looked at it thoroughly. She kicked the door, and it broke like glass. She stepped through the door to find herself face to face with Tyler. "Get outta my way." Kassidy growled. Tyler didn't say anything. He just grabbed her shoulders and pushed her to the ground. She thrashed and kicked, but he held her arms and legs to the ground. He got a syringe and injected a sedative into her system.

Kassidy struggled to stay awake after Tyler injected the liquid into her bloodstream. "No." she said weakly. She felt the world slip away from sight as she struggled.

Tyler released her when she fell limp. "Guys! You can come back now!" he shouted. Daniel, Logan, and Hannah walked through the door. Daniel looked at the body on the floor. "Did you kill her?" he said in an unbelieving tone. "No, I gave her something to calm her down." Tyler said. He picked her up and handed her to Logan. "Here, she is your problem now." he said roughly. That ticked Logan off. He gently propped her up against the wall and lounged at Tyler. His fist made contact with Tyler's nose. "Stop, now!" a small voice said. The boy turned to see Kassidy standing up. "Tyler, can I talk to you?" Kassidy said calmly. He meekly nodded and followed her out.

Kassidy walked out of the room with Tyler following behind her. Once Tyler entered the room, Kassidy quickly shut the door. She whipped around and slapped him. "What was that for?" he gasped. "That was for injecting me with the sedative!" she screamed. "You were trying to escape." he said. "You would too if you were locked up 24/7!" She slapped him again and ran from the room.

She bursted through the exit into the night with Tyler and two other people, a girl and boy, following her. She upped her speed. She ran into the woods, only looking back once. Kassidy stopped and quickly climbed a tall tree. She looked out and saw what she was guessing was the camp. It was beautiful; everywhere were flowers that glowed. She saw a pathway leading up to the one story hospital. She climbed up higher. She looked and saw 15 cabins. Some one story, some two. The were arranged in a U shape, she heard a snap and was then falling. She landed into someone arms. "Damn it!" Kassidy yelled. "Oh, please. At least I didn't let you fall." said a familiar voice. "Ugh! Tyler put me down!"

She squirmed to get out of his grasp. "Put me down!" she yelled. Tyler dropped her on the ground. "Uffff." she said as she hit the dirt. "I didn't mean that." He looked at her. "Well, you should have been more specific." he retorted. She slowly picked herself up and the other two people came through the trees. "So this is Little Miss Runaway?" the girl mocked. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Tyler said warningly, she looked confused for a second. "Oh." she said. Kassidy lunged. Her hand connected with the other girls face. She shrieked. Tyler lunged after her, and he pulled her off of the girl. "Told you, Maia." Tyler said. So-Called Maia was holding her nose. She glared at Kassidy who glared back.

Kassidy felt a burning desire to rip so-called Maia's throat out. She didn't know why. It must be something to do with the shapeshifting business. She squinted her eyes at the girl. "Quit glaring at Maia, Kass!" Her breathe faltered. Nobody except Logan is allowed to call her Kass. She turned to look at Tyler. " Never call me Kass. Only Logan is allowed to call me that." She said with a growl. She lunged again and tackled Tyler. She said a word for each time she slapped him. "I. Hate. You. So. Much." He had red marks all over his face. She stopped and took a took the advantage and punched her in the face knocking her out.

Kassidy found herself 2 years in the past. Her dad busted through the door. "YOU! YOU THINK YOU CAN GET AWAY WITH WHAT YOU DID? YOU ARE SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT! NO WONDER YOUR MOTHER LEFT YOU!" He slapped her hard causing her to stumble backwards. She looked at her father in pure terror. He slapped her again. Kassidy woke up in the security room she always stayed in. She looked up. Logan was hovering above her. "You ok?" he asked gently. She hugged him, tears threatened. She shook her head while she was trembling.

Logan held her. Kassidy slowly calmed down and pulled away from the embrace. "I'm sorry." she mumbled. He looked at her funny. "What?" he said. "I'm sorry for hugging you." she said looking down. She could feel his eyes burning into her. The door busted open. Tyler looked at the scene. "Is this going to be my room here? Because, I apparently stay here a lot." Kassidy said cracking a smile while changing the subject. Tyler chuckled. "Actually the camp director wants to see you." he said. Kassidy got up and followed him out the door, leaving Logan behind.

They entered an office-like room. A woman with willowing hair was sitting behind a desk. She looked at me and smiled. "Ah. Miss Grace. Please sit." She gestured to the seat on the other side of the desk. Kassidy sat down cautiously. "Um. Why do you want to see me?" The lady chuckled. "Well, I heard you were causing some difficulties, so I decided to talk to you about the demigod life." she said. Kassidy looked at her. "Explain everything." Kassidy demanded. She sighed. "Where do I start?" She looked at the woman. "The beginning." she replied smalley.

The lady again looked at her, but this time with pain. "Well, your real father is right now unknown. The father you grew up with was some kind of monster. Your mother is known to be one of the best demigod of her century, that's why you are so special." she said. Kassidy looked away. "What about Logan?" Kassidy said anger welling up inside her. "Logan's father was best friends with your mother. He was also one of the best mother and Logan's father died protecting Logan and you." she said tears in her eyes. Kassidy looked out the window. "Does Logan know? I mean about his dad." Spectra nodded her head. "I wanted you to tell him.". "What do I get from my mom?" She asked. "Um... Flexibility, fighting skills, and your sarcastic humor." She finished.

Kassidy stood up and started pacing around the room. "We got some Athena kids to put you in Mythology class to learn about everything that we needed you to learn." she said to the pacing Kassidy." "What are my traits? In Mythology class we learned every demigod has traits. What are mine?" Kassidy said. She pulled out two files. She opened the began to read the first one. "Ok, let's see: smart like Athena, violent and strong like Ares, sneaky like Hermes, and able to Charmspeak like Aphrodite. All of these are written by Tyler, Daniel, and Logan." She cracked a smile. "And Logan?" Kassidy said quietly. She read the other file, "Smart, shy, and little on the sneaky side, but that's all." she said. Kassidy smiled a little. "May I leave?" "Yes. Also my name is Spectra and you will be staying in the Ares cabin starting today. Logan will be staying in Athena's cabin." Spectra said. Kassidy turned to leave. "Oh, and welcome to Camp Uprising." And with that Kassidy left.

Kassidy walked around the arrangement of buildings. She saw lots of people around her age laughing and joking around or practicing their sword fighting. She kept walking as she watched the people. She walked right into a person. "Watch i-" She stopped abruptly when she saw Tyler standing in front of her. "Sorry." she mumbled. Tyler chuckled. "I think you're the one who ran into me so you're the one who should 'watch it'" he said using air quotes. She huffed, "Whatever." She moved past Tyler and continued to walk. She heard Tyler run up to her. "Where are you going?" he asked. "Ares cabin." She growled. Tyler's eyebrows furrowed. "You were claimed by Ares?" he asked. Kassidy looked at him. "No." she said with a monotone.

She walked a bit faster than she was. "Then why are you going there?" Tyler asked. Kassidy stopped and looked at him. "Why do you want to know? Hmm? Why do you even bother to talk to me?" she said. His face flushed. "Can't I try to be your friend?" She looked at him with a straight face. "No." She turned away and walked on.
