Been awhile since I wrote cause I just got out of it. But I'm back and willing to give this another shot. Again I don't own either legend of Zelda or league of legends.
After waving to Vince, Midna huddled into the seat. Being her dads car it was comfortable and big. The leather felt nice after the day of sitting on hard plastic. "I never realized how much public school would suck," she thought to herself. She also had to admit that she was a mite bit spoiled. "So?" her dad said from the front. "My day was fine daddy." Knowing that her dad wouldn't be satisfied with that she added, "It wasn't exactly what I was expecting but it was fine." He gave her a look through the rear view mirror, "That's not what I was asking." Midna blushed a little as she caught his meaning. "That was Vince daddy. He is my... friend." "You don't sound so sure of that." was the modulated reply. At this Midna withdrew into herself. "Was he my friend? He certainly said he was but that doesn't make him one. But he was the only one to talk to me all day." With more confidence she said "Ya he is my friend." "hmmm" was the only reply she got and they both sat the rest of the ride in silence. The gravel driveway crunched under the limos treads as they pulled up to the house. Mansion more like. The house towered over them at 3 stories and an endless maze of rooms. As father and daughter walked up to the front door Zelda came out and strode towards them. "Hello Midna, father, how were your days?" "Just fine, thank you for asking. Link made a good impression today." said their father. "Fine," was the short reply from Midna. "Oh come on Midna. It was your first day of school! I'm sure something happened." Looking up at her father nervously Midna wasn't sure what she could say. Noticing this their dad raised his hands and said with amusement, "I know when to leave my girls to themselves. I'll be in my office if you need me." As he walked off he gave one glance back and frowned thoughtfully. Then he made his way to the main office. As soon as he was out of sight Zelda grabbed her sister and started making an eek sound as she jumped up and down. "Come on Midna, you have to tell me everything. How was the building? How was the food? Did you make a lot of friends?" After about the gazillionth question Midna took her sisters arm and drug her to her room. When she had pried Zelda off her body and deposited her on the expansive bed Midna finally replied. "To answer the first few of your questions, the building was only a little bit bigger than here, the food was atrocious. They had these 'chicken nuggets' that were just blobs of meat. I'm not even sure it was real chicken." At this she made a face and looked at her sister. Zelda was sitting expectingly on the bed, attention fixed solely upon her. Midna recalled her next question. Midna blushed and shifted her feet nervously. Zelda saw this and looked shrewdly at her sister. Midna was nervous and that never happened. "Midna you said you would tell me everything. Now who did you make friends with?" "... well" Zelda was astonished. She had never seen her sister like this. It all clicked into place for her a few seconds later. Zelda let loose a squeal and jumped onto her sister. Normal Zelda is quite calm and reserved. A lot of people that met her called her regal but when her one and only sister had made friends with a guy one her first day of school she couldn't help herself. "Oh my god Midna this is great. What's his name? What does he look like?" All of this came tumbling out was Zelda pinned her sister to the floor. But Midna being the stronger and bigger of the two, she flipped Zelda off her and jumped to her feet. A mischievous grin was plastered on Midna's face. "I'll tell you if you can catch me." she said as she sprinted off. With a vague sense of deja vu Zelda scrabbled to her feet. "I will get her this time for sure. She will tell me," Zelda muttered as she sprinted after her sister. After about an hour of a rather intense session of hide and seek Midna found herself outside her fathers office again. She decided to go in and see how he was doing. As usual she found Link sitting in the waiting room slumped over books typing away again. When he looked up he asked "how was your day?" Midna looked at him, shocked. That was the most she had heard him say. It was usually just "yes sir" or "no sir." "Not what I expected but I had fun," she said back as she strode into her fathers' office. When she opened the door he was standing behind his desk and had a phone to his ear. He held up a finger signalling for silence and Midna gave it to him. A few muttered words and pauses later he hung up the phone and tossed it underhand onto his desk with a sigh. "I am sorry Midna but I have to go out for a few hours, we will have a nice long talk at dinner with everyone," he said as he strode past. "I promise." With a worried look in her eyes Midna smiled up at him and nodded. She was used to him having to leave suddenly like this. He did after all have to manage an international business. She saw him motion to Link as he walked by and the young man dutifully followed him out. Midna suddenly found herself looking forward to the family dinner more than any time before. "Found you, you little sneak," Zelda exclaimed as she barged in and Midna grinned, the chase was on again.
