The pub was a noisy affair, with plenty of people after work having a drink or two. Loud voices echoed clearly in the brick building, no table left not filled as tankards were passed out and a hefty dosage of liquor was consumed by all within the building that night. The serving girls looked calm yet worked efficiently, the brunette one with her hair all tied up in a ponytail and the dark haired one, her curls falling like vines around her ivory features.

They were all decked out in a uniform of sorts. Not exactly the same, yet roughly recognizable as serving girls due to their denim shorts and black shirts, all unified by the red scarf under their collars, with the words "The Mucky Pub" printed upon them in golden letterings. Despite having two orders under her belt, and a man hollering from the back of the pub, the brunette, well seasoned server didn't even bat an eyelash as she picked up the newest order completed from the kitchen window, and wound her way around half-drunk men and jolly old ladies who sought some company.

Balancing the two plates of steak pie and mash, as well as the sole order of bangers and mash, she weaved in and out of the mess of people to deliver the order at small table in a corner of the pub, where three figures sat, their eyes roving and studying the various characters in the room.

"That one?" the male asked, as he pulled the plate of sausages towards him whilst at the same time motioning at a figure who sat alone at the smallest table just a 5 feet away from them, quietly finishing up his plate of fish and chips.

"Stop moving Roxy, looking that way will look a bit too obvious." Ginny paused her fellow Kingsman partner with a kick against her feet. That garnered her a glare from Roxy, but the blonde girl just flashed a grin as she took off the signature Kingsman glasses, and somehow managed to accidentally swipe her fork in such a way that it managed to fly behind her, just in the general direction that Eggsy had motioned earlier.

Without even batting an eyelash, Ginny got up and quickly avoided people to head to pick it up, yet just managed to get in the way of someone so that she would get knocked towards the general direction of the table, and bumped against the solo male who got rudely jolted out of eating his dinner.

"Oh, sorry sir! I was picking up a fork I dropped, and didn't notice that I was in someone's way. I do apologize for the disturbance." She quickly recovered, bowing her head as the male got up and tried to shake out the little bit of gravy that had managed to drop on his linen pants.

"That's perfectly alright. This place get's a little crowded on weekend nights, so I'm truly not surprised."

"Oh, does it? Do you come here often? I'm visiting my uncle nearby, so I have to confess this is my first time in Islington."

"It does, it is one of the more famous ones here that doesn't cost an arm and a leg after all. The rest tend to head towards the Queen's Pub down the road, but that's a little pricier, albeit for a better environment." He commented with a laugh, eyes twinkling behind the glasses he wore.

"Ah, I see. Mind giving me a couple more tips on the area? So sorry to impose, but I really do feel quite clueless, especially as my uncle would have to work the next few days. I'm pretty much left alone."

"I would be glad to help a girl, it is my honor."

"That's just fantastic!" the grin that Ginny wore as she said that was almost electrifying, much to Eggsy and Roxy's amusement as they watched her more or less charm the male. "Oh, where are my manners. My name is Genevieve, and would you be free tomorrow? Uncle has a meeting till 8pm, so I'm already wondering where I would be getting my dinner."

"The pleasure is all mine, Miss Genevieve. I'm Ewan Crawford. I'm afraid I have an associate's dinner party to attend tomorrow though, so I wouldn't be available at all. However, I'd be more than happy to go with you in the morning and point out places."

"That sounds good as well. Let's just say about 10am? We can go for breakfast as well."

"Sound's perfect. Where would you be staying? I can pick you up." He offered,

"There's no need for that all Mr. Crawford, I'll meet you here? My uncle stays in a really difficult area in Islington which is more of an inconvenience to explain than anything."

"If you're sure, than it's no problem for me then. I shall take my leave now, since I seem to have an exciting day tomorrow." The male replied with a swift nod of his head, to which Ginny responded alike before he left, and she sashayed her way back to Roxy and Eggsy with a grin.

"And you do that without even batting an eyelash." Eggsy commented the moment Ginny sat down, to which the girl laughed and gave an even cheekier grin.

"That's what I meant by a different sort of training. While you guys get the high intensity training a couple of months long, I get years and years of practice because Papa insisted on sending me to drama school. I hated performing on stage, but assimilating in to society? No problem." The girl explained as she started on her pie.

"So who was he?"

"Ewan Crawford. I'll be meeting him tomorrow morning because he needs to show this lonely tourist in Islington how to get around. He's apparently busy tomorrow night though."

"What a coincidence, he's busy on the exact same night the dinner party is being held."

"My thought's exactly." Ginny responded to Roxy's muse, almost splattering her associate with the gravy from the steak pie as she waved the fork around.

"Watch where you aim that thing Ginny, you're going to eyeball someone." Roxy warned with a laugh, and the blonde headed girl sheepishly placed her utensil down before she continued. "If he's going to be at the dinner party though, looks like I won't be front and center." Picking up her glasses, she spoke again, this time towards Merlin who was always on the watch for the three youngsters on a mission.

"Merlin, would it be okay if Roxy went in my stead? I can watch from the computers."

"That would be fine." His voice crackled back. "And yes, to answer the lingering question, your Ewan Crawford is our Lucan."

"You know, this would be a whole lot easier if you guys actually had pictures attached to your Kingsman files. All we had to go on was a vague description of how you remember Lucan to be like from your last meeting." Ginny retorted.

"And what if our files were compromised?"

"Good point." She conceded, and sighed. "Alright, thanks Merlin." And with that, all three youngsters disconnected and took off their glasses, before finally getting down to the business of having their dinner. "And that is why Papa never agreed to me working for Kingsman, even after Chester King abolished the gender restriction."

"Eh?" Roxy and Eggsy echoed together, not really understanding Ginny's complaint.

"I don't critically think far ahead enough. According to Papa, I always thought too short term, instead of the bigger picture. Merlin only agreed for me to come with you two because other than the four of us, there is literally no one else he trusts now."

The two fell silent, for if the three of them had anything in common at all, it was the greatest love and loyalty for the Kingsman and everything they were fighting for. "Ho w has it been like, living on the edges of the Kingsman?" Eggsy couldn't help but ask. Of the three of them, Eggsy relied on Kingsman the most. Roxy still had a fairly well to-do family to fall back on, but Eggsy had literally took on Kingsman to be his life, his savior from a life on a spiral downwards. Harry Hart had saved him from drugs and illegal activities and a lifetime going in and out of prison. He only wished he had longer with his mentor, or he had discovered Kingsman earlier and not wasted so much of his life.

At his question, Ginny paused midway through slicing through the other half of her pie, and paused to actually consider the question.

"Well… it's been pretty unexciting really. You must take the word 'edges' to its most literal meeting. I only know when they have a meeting, but I never actually participate them, not up till I was nineteen and Papa needed a'date' to bring to this function he had to go undercover to gain information. I was his 'date', so to say, but his target was a female... and she often hid herself in the ladies. Long story short, I slipped away from Papa to gain whatever information he needed, and Merlin kind of fought for my case after that."

"I wasn't officially allowed to be on Kingsman missions, but Chester King occasionally asked for my help, only after Papa has checked if that leg isn't particular hazardous. After he abolished the gender restriction, rumor has it from Merlin that Chester wanted me to join Kingsman, to take on Lancelot's position without an interview process, but Papa put his foot down." She paused, and turned to look up at Eggsy with a fond grin. "I think by that time, he's also had his eye on you for quite a while and was already waiting for you to take Lancelot's place. Papa considered your father to be a great friend of his. He was devastated that his carelessness caused his loss."

"If that hadn't happened though, I would never have known of the Kingsman." The street smart male replied with a grin, picking up his glass of apple juice.

"And I would never have known you." Roxy continued, and Ginny laughed as their eyes met over the table. "Kingsman means a lot to me, and I'm sure both of you share my sentiments. It's why I would do anything to protect it. It is the last thing I have that has a shred of Papa."

"He's still around, even when we can't see him."

Ginny perked up when Eggsy said that, words profound but with every hint of meaning behind it that had the girl give a gentle smile as she picked up her utensils again. "Finish dinner, then we should go back and start figuring out how will tomorrow work."

The morning was glorious, with it having rained the night before, the air was cooling and comforting as Ginny hugged herself and rocked on her feet on the gravel pathway leading up the to still docile pub they were at the night before. Waving as the figure of Ewan appeared, she smiled a greeting to the dirty blond male who ran up.

"Sorry, I took a wrong turning on my way here."

"It's no problem at all. Where should we start?"

"Well, I was going to bring you to the Farmer's Market first, grab a bite there for breakfast. And then I'll show you around a little, before I leave around four to get ready for my dinner party. I do apologize for the need to leave, really." He sheepishly mentioned, rubbing his head apologetically.

"No, it's perfectly alright! We each have responsibilities after all." Ginny quickly brushed it off with a smile. The two fell in step with each other on the walkway of the small town in Islington. The early hour was blessed with balmy air, yet enjoyable due to the scarce amount of people around, leading to (luckily for Ginny) easy conversation as they strolled Junction Road towards the cross junction to a row of more downtrodden looking shops.

"What about this street?" Ginny asked in curiosity, as they bypassed a small alleyway.

"Oh, that's Highgate Street. Interested?" he asked, and when Ginny nodded her head he grinned and motioned at her to come along. "It's a street that's fairly upmarket, lots of café's around here as you can see. Swaine's Lane here is a pretty good place if you're still wondering what to do for dinner tonight."

"That's great. What about that direction?"

"That's Upper Street, people mostly head there for sandwiches and breakfast food. Highbury is the cheaper one, along with a couple of shops there." Ewan explained good naturedly, watching in amusement as Ginny seemed to scan everything in sight, when in actuality she was taking in as much of her surroundings as possible for Eggsy and Roxy seated at the computer installed in their hotel room.

"Down that street, Guinevere. Seem's very interesting actually." Roxy's voice crackled, just as Ginny's head swiped past a small alleyway just off Swaine's Lane. Following her directive, Ginny naturally turned with the curious look that she had perfected to an art.

"Where does this lane go?"

"Oh, that? Not much. It's just a small alleyway with mostly shops that can't really survive. Not much traffic there to be honest." He motioned, not making any move to go in. Ginny found it curious, considering all morning he had been perfectly willing to bring her to every corner she found interesting. As such, she insisted on going anyway, turning her gaze back to the alleyway.

"I'm usually very interested in the unusual. Can we go anyway?"

Despite a little reluctance that all three Kingsman made mental note of, he agreed to go along anyway, and their steps fell on the damp gravel that lined the single-file alley. Most of the bricks were mossy and dark in their coloring, quite unlike the happy red bricks that lined the main streets of Islington. "A little further down… that one. Our signals are picking up all sorts of electrical devices inside."

"Considering that its supposed to be an antique shop, I doubt we should be receiving signals for optical communication in there." Eggsy's voice chimed in to, and Ginny reacted by pausing immediately in front of the shop. As she looked over, all three saw the small, unopened shop with the word's 'Wayward Antiques by Wayne' printed across its glass display window.

With the dark windows, locked metal gates, a heavy padlock across the front and dust collecting on the corner of the windows, Ginny couldn't help the small frown that marred her brow as she asked, "Has this been closed long?"

"Why the sudden question?"

"Nervous". The note came from Roxy with an amused tone that Ginny picked up on, as she smothered a grin and instead fixed a genuinely curious face on. "See that phone on display? I've always liked collecting old, dated phones. That make is something I haven't been able to find."

Acting as if she was looking for something, she quickly ran up to the window, not surprised to hear Ewan quickly follow her footsteps, as she pressed her face against the glass. "Do you think they have a number I could contact them at?"

"I don't suppose so. It seems to have been closed for a very long time already." Ewan replied, a minor tremor in his voice that most would have been unable to pick up on should they not have had the acute training of Kingsman initiation.

"Is it possible for me to find it, you think?"

"I highly doubt it." His replies were short and sweet, curt even before he quickly seemed eager to move on. "I'm famished, aren't you? I'm sure you'll be able to find the make of that phone elsewhere, as this antique shop has not been able to survive. Now shall we move on?"

"Spiffy, Lancelot."

"Oh shut up. I hate dressing up like this. Why must the dresscode be formal anyway?" Roxy complained, picking at the body hugging silver dress. Trussed up with extra sequins and beads, Ginny had teased that she was going to need a pair of sunglasses to look at Roxy when she took out the dress earlier, much to the rugged girl's consternation.

"Well, it's a dinner party, what did you expect?" Ginny replied, getting off Roxy's bed to head towards to the dressed up girl as she sat down in front of the dressing table. Deft fingers quickly started work on Roxy's hair, as the dressed up one asked "What do you think of Lucan?"

"Same as I told Eggsy. Keep an eye out for him. He seems antsy, especially that antique shop we came across. Once you guys are in place and secure for the night, I might just make a trip out to visit that shop."

"Alone?"

"Yes. But don't tell Merlin, he would disallow me to go for sure."

"No shit. Harry would have his head if he was around and know what trouble you're getting in to."

"If Papa was around, I wouldn't even be here. There." She finished up with a hot curling iron to twirl the few strands that framed Roxy's face, and gave a happy smile as the other girl did a small twirl with her updo and silver dress. "Do I pass?"

"With flying colors. Now come on!" Ginny dragged at Roxy to exit their room, confident and excited to see Eggsy's reaction.

Sure enough, as they entered the lobby to meet Eggsy all trussed up in his Kingsman bespoked suit and glasses, he almost dropped his jaw when Roxy entered. Having gotten used to seeing his partner usually in pants, shirt, with hair tied in a strict ponytail and all work, seeing the girl with a gorgeous updo to match an even more gorgeous dress… frankly, Eggsy had no idea how to react.

Never mind that he's never actually even thought of Roxy in that regard before.

"Earth to Galahad. Eggsy, move!" Ginny teased, a nudge to his shoulder finally shaking the boy out of his reverie to see Roxy averting her gaze from him with a shy smile. Their interaction had Ginny grinning like a Cheshire cat, as she nudged the two of them closer.

"Don't freeze while on the job like that Eggsy, you'll get yourself killed. Now go, the driver is waiting out front. I'll be watching you guys from the room. Good luck!" Ginny playfully bidded them, before running up, leaving the two in an awkward stretch of silence, before Eggsy finally chose to break it by tentatively offering a hand.

"May I have the honor of being your escort tonight?"

Having all the while been someone fully focused on her job, Roxy had to admit that she found it refreshing to have someone look at her through different eyes. She's found Eggsy highly capable since day one, although not in the most conventional of ways. His loyalty and determination blew her away, especially after he was so determined to still save the world even after Chester King had proven to be a traitor, and Harry had died at the hands of Valentine.

He may not have seen her in any other light then that of a partner before this, but Ginny's cheeky words, actions and her insistence of dressing her up today finally gave Roxy the idea that maybe, just maybe, she wasn't doomed to be the woman too independent for any guy to handle, an idea that had her smiling as she slide her hand in to Eggsy's offered, upturned palm.

"Let's go."
