From the feedback I got, readers really wanted this story to go on. I thank you all for wanting more and I apologize for being so lazy with my updates. Please enjoy!

He sat. Day after day of endless boredom. Though the almost change in scenery was nice. The Jedi had moved from Shedu Maad to the Jedi Academy on Ossus as soon as possible. They had been there for a week. Or that's what it felt like. Caedus lay on the single cot in his cell. It was a holding cell like any other, but even being disadvantaged with the ysalamari drug, Caedus could practically feel the life teeming throughout the planet. The desire to be with that life made him sick and lustful at the same time.

His meals were brought twice a day and shoved through the bottom hole of the door. The lights remained constantly on, a harsh reminder of the life he was wasting away. There were datapads stacked neatly on a shelf across the room and a somewhat comfortable chair, Caedus merely brushed it all off. He spent his days reflecting and inducing himself into the muscle memory meditation he had mastered during his stay with the Yuuzhan Vong.

Everything seemed to have changed since then, and yet, nothing had changed. The universe was still spinning and people were still living their lives, not that Caedus cared at all. His daily reminiscing's were peaceful and serene, longing to be filled with the Force.

As Caedus lay on his cot he felt something change. He felt the Force but not in the way of utilizing it. He sat up on the cot, looking around the room. A simmering in the reading chair caught his attention. He focused hard on the glistening and then remembered something taught to him a long time ago. An unfocused eye sees everything. Calming himself, Caedus relaxed, bringing his vision into a soft blur. What he saw surprised him. It surprised him so much so that he actually let out a small gasp.

"Vergere?" His voice was deep yet quiet. It was filled with bewilderment. Her back was facing him, only when he called her name did she turn around. The ancient Fosh was just as she had always been. The bright vibrant colors that lined her skull were livelier than ever. Though the edges of her silhouette were fuzzy and lined with a faint bluish glow. The recognition on her face was evident as if she had not known she was now in his holding cell.

Vergere turned to face him. Caedus was still unbelieving when Vergere cocked her head to the side. "Jacen?" Her voice was as curious as it had ever been.

The speaking of that retched name brought Caedus out of his daze. His eyes turned a little colder and Vergere's image faded ever the slightest. He collected himself and looked back at her steadily. "I never expected to find you here."

Vergere was still gazing upon him when a small smile crept upon her face. "Nor I, Little Solo." Vergere glanced around. "Where are we?" The look on her face suggested an elderly being with remembrance troubles.

Caedus wondered if Vergere was aware of the occurrences since her death. "We are in my holding cell." He was calm. It had been months since he had even thought of his old friend.

"Funny, I do not remember you ever being overly fond of captivity." Vergere was still glancing around when her eyes came back to rest on him. The forgetful elder look disappeared. It was replaced by Vergere's old face. Her eyes regarded him sadly. Her whole demeanor suggested sadness and regret. It seemed to ache her watching him like this. "Oh Jacen, what has happened?"

Caedus fought back the urge to glare at her. "I grew up." He practically spat.

Vergere seemed to take offense in that. Her eyes turned harder. "No you did not. I have witnessed you grow up. This," She gestured around the room. "This is not growing, this is cowardice. All of it. Do you remember nothing of our time together?" Her voice was sincerely hurt.

Caedus looked at her square in the eye. His voice was serious. "Of course I remember." He sat straighter. "I would never forget, Vergere."

Vergere shook her head lightly. "Apparently you have forgotten. Everything. I failed you, Jacen." She sighed. "I believed in a child. I guess I always did." Her voice echoed words spoken years ago.

Caedus was done with this foolishness. His temper rose when he talked to her. "No. You trained me for this purpose only, didn't you?" Deep down, Caedus felt wronged somehow, as if she had let him down. "Lumiya told me of your plot, of your past. You lied-" Caedus caught himself and looked at Vergere who was playfully smiling at him.

"Everything I tell you is a lie." She spoke. The words seemed to monstrous for this four walls of the holding cell.

Caedus clenched his fists and now openly glared at Vergere. "You were a Sith all along," He gave her a mocking sneer. "I thought you would be proud of me."

Vergere cocked her head to the side once again. The playfulness had fled her. "What are you referring to, Little Solo?"

Caedus sighed angrily. The endless lies and that ancient pet name was beginning to really get to him. "You were a Sith. You worked with Palpatine, you escaped him by traveling to Zonama Sekot. You were her Sith master. You guided me into Lumiya's path." His voice was filled with resentment because it had been Vergere's actions that had led him to be where he was today, captive yet again by people whom had once trusted him.

"You are mistaken." Vergere's voice was slow and deliberate. Her expression was hurt. "How could you possibly think that after your imprisonment? I was no Sith, Jacen. I was as much as a Sith as you were…then." She caught herself. Her gaze was soft, understanding.

"What?" Caedus shot at her. "You were not a Sith?" Vergere shook her head. "But everything you did to me? Your hopes and aspirations for me…were they a lie as well?"

Vergere sighed irritably. "I am feeling wronged in your lack of confidence in me. To accuse me of being a Sith is to undermine everything the Force is. My aspirations for you Jacen were fulfilled. You bought peace to two very different cultures while serving the entire Force itself. Yet, you have managed to slip back into the mindset of the Force as something to be thought of as black and white. Except this time you defend the so called 'dark side'." Vergere smiled back at him. "You should remember well that the black is only what is inside you. It is a part of you."

Caedus resisted the urge to roll his eyes and Vergere must have felt this in the Force. Her voice was stern as if talking to a five year old. "You mock me? I have indeed failed you." Vergere gave a shrug. "If you will not listen to me, who will you listen too? The Jedi? Your Sith friend, Lumiya?" Vergere was questioning him as she always had.

"You told me once to choose and act. I chose what I thought to be best for the galaxy." He was trying to bat her words away.

Vergere shook her head. "Obviously not. The peace you were striving for is only temporary. There will always be darkness in the galaxy, as there will always be light. You have to accept this. You have to be one with the Force. Choose and act upon the Force, not on your own desires."

Caedus held her gaze steadily when the door whooshed up behind him. He turned slowly, the image of Vergere gone. Jaina was standing in the doorway her expression clearly a heated objecting anger. "C'mon." She gestured for him to follow.

"What, no stun cuffs this time?" He asked unmoving from the cot.

"Not right now." Her voice was serious. "Let's go."

Caedus stood. "May I at least know where I'm being taken?"

Jaina looked dead ahead as she led him through the corridors. "A freezing chamber."

Caedus stopped walking behind her. Though there was still a dispassion between them, he seemed to have given up on his idea of escape. "Excuse me?"

Jaina turned back to him. Her gaze could've turned Hoth into a summer vacation spot. "Negotiations have been going on for the past few days. Daala will not institute a full fledge war if you are handed over to her and encased in carbonite."

"Ah." A deep pit opened within Caedus. "So I am being transported to my shuttle?"

"No." Jaina continued to walk. "We're on Coruscant now. I am to drop you off at the detention center and leave you to freeze."

Caedus nodded. "Did you volunteer?" He asked honestly.

"I was first in line." Her voice was cold as she led him through the shuttle. "Here." Jaina turned to him and placed the stun cuffs on him. As she adjusted them, Jaina looked up into his eyes. "I don't know what it is, but I believe I killed Caedus on the Anakin Solo. I wouldn't have resurrected a monster… Now listen closely, the security cams of the entire facility will glitch in exactly seven minutes for precisely thirty seconds. In that time, I need you to get out of here. This shuttle will be returning to Ossus as soon as I return to it, so I suggest you disappear in the under levels." She continued to look down and injected him with a syringe. "This is the antidote to the ysalamari serum. I'll probably need help with your escape."

Caedus regarded her and almost chuckled at her tone but he knew if that were to happen, Jaina would kill him. "And what if I betray you?"

Jaina glared at him. "I've killed you once, I can do it again. Except this time there will be no mercy. Beside, Daala will you be hunting. Every step you take could be your last."

"Is that a threat?" Caedus asked.

"It's a warning." Jaina turned back down the ramp where a squad of six GA guards were waiting for them. The apparent leader of the squad stepped up to Jaina.

"We can take it from here, Jedi." He sounded disgusted to even be conversing with her. His uniform was crisp and clean. The man stood a good six inches above Jaina but she didn't seem to mind at all.

"That is not going to happen, Lieutenant. This man is a Sith Lord and he will kill you if left only with your squad." Jaina countered the man.

"And I am to assume, you'll protect us Ms. Solo?" The Lieutenant leaned down her so they would be face to face. Caedus watched the conversation with amusement and a strong desire to crush the man's throat.

"Would you like to test me?" Jaina challenged. The manner of her voice seemed to intimidate the man well enough. He regained his composure, standing straight.

"Let us get on with this." He ordered his men. The tight group surrounded Caedus and Jaina. The soldiers were walking uniformly and close to the twins. Caedus walked directly behind Jaina, his hands still cuffed together. He could see her mentally calculating the time they had left until the security breach.

The freezing chamber was deep inside the facility, or so it seemed. They walked for a good three minutes before entering the chamber. The Lieutenant keyed in several codes in order to open the chamber. The party was welcomed by gas and steam drifting through the entrance to the chamber like fog. Rectangular lights lined the circular floor with an odd greenish hue. Another control panel lined the wall to the right as Caedus stepped it. The walls were barren, only about ten feet high. The space was enclosed for obviously reasons. Reasons Caedus didn't bother himself with.

Upon reaching the carbonation freezing chamber, Caedus felt a pulse that seemed a lot like one minute. Jaina sent a glance over to him as she stood off to the left side of the circular space. The doors closed behind the Lieutenant and he took a place next to Jaina. Two guards moved over to Caedus and began restraining him for the freezing process. Caedus glanced casually at his sister who was concentrating hard. The two guards walked Caedus over to the freezing platform and retreated back to the control panel.

As soon as the two men were off the platform, a spark from the Force, which had now returned to Caedus, was an indication that their seven minutes were up. He heard the snap-hiss of Jaina's lightsaber as she removed the Lieutenant's left arm. She pounced on the three guards standing by the doorway who were about to alert the facility.

Jaina was busy and Caedus had his own troubles to worry about. He brought his cuffed wrists up to where both palms were facing the two guards about to fire on Jaina. He released a mass of the Force that had been stored up in him for at least three weeks. The two guards that had bound him on the platform dropped dead to the floor in a matter of seconds. Caedus saw Jaina's swift boot come across the temple of one of two men still standing.

The purple energy from her lightsaber came across the door panel before the third man could activate it. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." Her lightsaber was pointed directly at his throat. The man was hunkered down in the corner, quivering. "Good choice." Jaina said as her elbow came across his temple.

Jaina's words rang through Caedus' ears for a moment. He reflected on her choice of words while she came over to him. Jaina sliced the stun cuffs off his wrists'. "Knock me out." She deactivated her lightsaber as she gave him the command.

"Really?" Caedus asked incredulously, his voice slow and deliberate.

"Yes. I don't want to start another war." Her voice was stern. "You have fifteen seconds. There is a hatchway up in the ceiling that will lead to the roof which is unmonitored. Disappear from there." Jaina pressed a cold cylinder into his hand. "Do what you will." She looked up at him.

His sister was inches from his chest and they regarded each other with equal amounts of caution. Jaina giving him the lightsaber was a way of saying, I trust you. It felt wrong to betray her now. Choose and act. The sayingrang through his mind as he looked at the hilt. Jaina awaited his decision.

"Thanks sis." Caedus said as he brought the hilt's end across Jaina's temple.
