Disclaimer: I don't own Zelda or any of its characters. Swordplay kills people.
Ganondorf: That sounds wonderful! -sighs dreamily-
Green: Dude stop being creepy!
Disclaimer: Hey Green, is Vio's name pronounced Vie-oh or Vee-oh or what?
Green: … I have no clue.
Disclaimer: Vaati's not a showoff in this chapter.. sorry if you wanted him to be.
Blue: WOOHOO! NOW'S MY CHANCE TO SHINE!
Disclaimer: You'll be more of an embarrassment.
Blue: How?
Disclaimer: You've got too much pride.
Blue: That's not a bad thing... is it? -looks around- Well? Guys?
Disclaimer and Green: -sigh and shake our heads-
"Alright, class, find a partner and begin."
Vio sighed and put his book away, pairing up with Red. Battle Training was the current subject, taught by Rusl, a very good swordsman, and class was outdoors. But... aside from that, he really didn't want to have a sword fight with a sweet person like Red...
"Vio?" Red squeaked as battle erupted around them. Blue and Green seemed to be trying to kill each other nearby. "Vio, can you help me out? I can't do this very well..."
"Alright." Vio fixed Red's padded armor and tossed him one of the dull blades that were wrapped in foam. "You can go first," he offered.
"Okay!" Red smiled brightly. "But don't forget, I'm you, so I'm just as talented. Don't go easy on me!" The two began circling each other. Red lashed out and Vio met him in the middle, only halfway attempting to keep him back.
Red easily pushed Vio backwards, making him stumble. "I said I was good," Red giggled.
Vio used his makeshift weapon to push himself up. "Then I suppose I won't hold back." He quickly rolled around behind Red and swung at his back, his double barely managing to intercept the attack. Vio ducked down and swept Red's feet from underneath him, going to hold him down and stumbling when Red rolled out of the way. They stood facing each other.
"You're good," Red panted.
"As are you," Vio replied. Just then there was a shout of victory from Blue.
"Haha! Got you, Green! There was no way I would've lost!"
Green pouted, Blue's foot on his back to keep him pinned down as Blue savored the moment.
"That wasn't fair," Green grumbled. "He made me look the other way by telling me Shadow was behind me, about to kill me."
"You shouldn't be so gullible, Green," Vio sighed as Rusl gave the students a break for the rest of class. "We're sort of, you know, heroes. It shouldn't be that easy to fool you."
"Green's an idiot!" Blue shouted gleefully. Green tripped him and he fell face-first on the ground. Red giggled, only to have Blue bring him down as well.
"Ow! What was that for?" Red whined.
"Blue." Vio glared threateningly.
"Alright, I'm sorry," he muttered. Red sat up as Green kicked Blue.
"I wonder what next class is," Green said.
"Can't you read?" Vio held up the paper. "Sales Class. Apparently it's going to be horrible. Honestly, though, I can't believe you're me. Red's the only decent one here besides me..."
"Says the bookworm!" Blue growled, pulling Vio down.
Vio sighed and sat up, dusting himself off and getting out a book. "You're much too aggressive, Blue. You'd be much more likeable if you weren't."
"Shut up." Blue turned away.
Red stared at all of them. There was a long silence.
"Awkward much?" Green commented.
"Nobody cares, Green," Blue said loudly.
Vio pushed Blue's face into the dirt. "Sorry, but the world don't revolve around you and what you say," he told his double.
Vaati walked over, Shadow beside him. "I saw how you did, Blue," the Wind Mage said in an unusually friendly way. "Not bad. Though, next time, I'd like to see how you do against Shadow."
Blue scoffed. "I'm the best! Nobody can beat me!"
"How over-confident you are." Vaati turned to Shadow and smirked. Shadow returned the smirk.
"We'll just have to see about that. Being your shadow, you can't fool me. I can mirror all of your attacks." Shadow and Vaati walked away.
"Looks like you've gotten into a troubling situation, Blue." Vio looked up from his book. "I don't envy your position."
"Whatever." Blue glared. "I can go against any foe and win."
"Not Shadow, though," Green said. "He's our shadow, so he can mirror your moves, like he said. That's an impossible victory right there."
"I'm sure it's fine," Blue replied, sounding less confident.
"Just don't fight him, Blue!" Red squeaked. "Nobody can win if the battle doesn't exist. I think that sounds best."
"Your words are wasted on him, Red," Vio told him. "There's no point in trying to change his mind."
"Oh... okay." Red sat there for a while. "...can we play a game?"
"Sure." Vio and Green smiled. At the exact same time, Blue said, "No way."
"Blue..." If the term "glaring daggers" were real, Blue would be full of holes because of Green. Vio could almost see the flames around him.
"Alright, fine," Blue grumbled. "What's the game?"
"I Spy?"
"There is no way you're getting me to play that." Blue's face suddenly took on a frightened look as Green and Vio towered over him.
"I'm sorry, what did you say? I didn't quite hear," Vio growled as Red sniffled.
"Yes, can you repeat that?" Green put in.
"I... I said... It was a good idea," Blue squeaked.
"That's what I thought," Vio replied, as if he hadn't just been acting like he was going to kill his double.
"Okay then, you first, Red," Green said cheerfully.
"O-Okay..." Red wiped his eyes and looked around. "I spy with my little eye something yellow."
As the other three guessed and repeatedly got it wrong, someone chuckled darkly in the distance.
"So oblivious... so I can bring good news to the boss. Yes, everything is going according to plan."
Woohoo random person in the background! I bet you think he and his boss are up to no good, huh? Well, sure they're up to no good. But what kind of "no good" are we talking about? Evil or just plain trouble? Review please! Ja ne~
