Chapter 4: Calypso, Reyna, and the Cupid Incident

Wizard

Who would've thought Leo had an immortal girlfriend? It all started with Harry waking up, thinking all is right with the world, when he goes to breakfast and hears, "man, I do miss Calypso. I think about her a lot, and she must be thinking about about me." "Think again, Leo Valdez." Harry turned, to see a pretty cinnamon haired girl (AN: I can't remember whether it was her hair, or her skin that was cinnamon colored.) wearing a white dress that was from ancient Greece, a shadowy boy with pale skin, and a dark haired girl with one, long braid down her back. She stood up straight, and was obviously a leader. "Calypso! Nico! Reyna! What are you doing here?" Jason was appalled. "We're here to keep an eye on you, duh." Reyna replied. "Sunshine!" Leo shouted, and ran toward Calypso. Her greeting was less than enthusiastic. "I hope you haven't created a mess I have to clean up, Leo Valdez." "Whatever, girl." "Introductions, do you mind?" Shouted Ron. "Ah, yes." Annabeth began. "This is Calypso, Leo's girlfriend." Calypso rolled her eyes, and muttered a hello. "This is Reyna, praetor of New Rome and daughter of Bellona." Reyna inclined her head to them. She was obviously one of those, don't mess with me girls. "And this is Nico, son of Hades." Nico picked at his jacket. "Are you a demigod?" Harry asked Calypso. The others were demigods, but something about her was... Different. "Absolutely not." Calypso sniffed. "I, myself, am immortal." "Is she always like this?" Harry whispered to Percy. "She has a bad history," Percy whispered back. "So that's who you were contacting," Frank commented. "Originally, we contacted Calypso, because her immortality might come in handy." Hazel admitted. "But then, we sent a later message to Chiron to bring Reyna and Nico." Then the bell rang. "Fantastic, I have Potions," Piper muttered. Everyone else did, too. "Dumbledore told us we were in Gryffindor," here Reyna pointed to her and Calypso, "and Nico will be in Slytherin." "Well, more bodyguards for Harry." Draco cackled. "I hate that guy," muttered Leo.

Demigod

"Today, we will turn potions into weapons," instructed Snape. "We will be making Love Potions, which is most dangerous when combined with these Cupid arrows our new guests have brought us." (AN: got some inspiration from other fanfics, if that's okay,) Snape handed them out. "Ah, Harry Potter," he hissed softly. "Wouldn't it be a shame if you even mess up this lethal, yet basic potion?" The Slytherins roared. Harry gritted his teeth. By the end, Annabeth, Hermione, Piper and pretty much everyone but Leo, Percy and Harry got it right. The boy's potions looked pretty much the same, brown and bubbling. Everyone else's was pink. Carefully, they dipped the arrows into the potion. "This potion is different," said Snape. "It explodes when shot, and the people around the shooter will fall in love." Then Annabeth accidentally dropped hers. The boys who knew her dropped and covered, but those who did not see it coming breathed in the fumes. They glanced adoringly at Annabeth. "Oops," she whispered. Then Snape tumbled head over heels into a cauldron full of the original potion, and fell in love with the lamp. It was chaos. Percy swung his sword at the enchanted boys, Piper tried to charmspeak everyone back to normal, but the spell was too strong, then Reyna and Hazel bumped into some arrows and knocked them down, and some passing boys fell in love with them, and Snape clung to his lamp, while Ron tried to take a picture and keep boys away from Hermione, who also dropped an arrow.

"I got it!" Ron proudly held up a photo of Snape kissing a lamp. "Get away from Hermione!" Hermione was inspecting a scroll. "Great," she sighed. "The effects won't wear off until the end of today." "What about a reverse potion?" Asked Annabeth. Percy glared at the admiring boys. "There is no reverse potion." Hazel sighed, and waved off the boys like flies. Frank and Percy glowered, their arms around their girlfriends. "You have nice hair, Annabeth," one boy said dreamily. "Hey, buddy, do you wanna go to Tartarus?" Percy growled. "You have nice eyes, Hazel," sighed a boy. "And, good-bye." Frank said. "Hermione, you have nice eyes too," said a boy. " Ron started to cuss worse than Arion. "And you, Reyna-" before Reyna could point a javelin at the guy's throat (Reyna style) Piper said, using charmspeak, "and now you are leaving." The boys started to wander off, before getting confused and coming back. "Calypso, use magic or something!" Hermione wailed. "The magic's too strong!" Calypso cried sympathetically. Leo was of no help, nor Jason. They stood in front of their girlfriends, saying, "that's right, stare at that guys girlfriend, not mine!" Piper and Calypso felt helpless. "Hey," Ginny barely squeezed past the crowd of boys to sit next to Harry. "What's going on?" While Piper explained everything to Ginny, Harry joined Leo and Jason in their chorus of, "look at that guys girlfriend, not mine!" "Great news!" Dumbledore came up, scattering the crowd. "You can reverse this?" Annabeth asked hopefully. "No, but I do know how you can get home!"
