Opening your eyes to a white-haird boy, you reflect. He's tending the wounds that leave a permanent mark on your body. There are cool strokes placed delicately across you're face, as you blink up at Haru.
"Wh…what happened?"
"Nothing, Yuki; you'll be alright. I promise that I'll take good care of you!"
Haru smiles and you shake your head. Examining him curiously through bleary eyes; tears lightly fall on your cheeks. You hazily note that they're yours, and try to wipe them away.
"I don't understand why Akito did this to you, just because we like to hang out. It makes me very sad, Yuki."
You wonder why this boy is taking care of you, if it gets the both of you in trouble. He presses the cloth into your skin and it comes back bloody. Haru grimaces angrily, as an expression crosses his face. An odd feeling enters your heart and you make soft contact with the back of his hand.
"Thank you for helping me." You choke out.
"I would never leave you with him, if I'm able to help you."
"Yeah, but you shouldn't be around me. He tells me that I'm different."
"I'll never ever leave your side; you're my friend."
You grin, and grasp Haru's hand. Painstakingly you sit up with his aid, and tilt your head down in a show of respect. You study the blotches on your limbs.
"I hope Akito never touches you again. It hurts me to see all of this."
