"Kumara?" A young voice called.

Red eyes shifted up in a curious gaze, "Yes senpai?" he spoke softly.

The young teacher looked down at the child with jade green eyes "Kumara, I loved your paper about the Kyuubi, but i just have to ask why, why the demon fox?"

A five-year old Kumara smiled happily as he replied. "They are cool! Soo wise and magical, and they are the best at pranks!" He giggled smiling brightly at his teacher.

Sakura brushed some of her pink hair behind her shoulder and laughed with the student. "Kinda like you?"

Kumara's eyes lite up and his smile grew. "Yeah! Just like me!"

"Kumara!" The voice echoed through out the house.

"Kyuubi!" Kumara said as he rushed down stairs, his black and red hair fluttering out behind him.

His mouther crossed her arms over her chest and hummed out almost frustrated "Kumara, Why did your teacher just call me?"

Kumara's eyes widened slightly, he scratched his head looking away. "Oh um well I didn't do it.." He lied sweating slightly.

His mother frowned sternly.

"Okay I did do it! I'm sorry okay!?" He almost yelled trying to look for a way out.

"Why?"

"Because..."

"Kumara."

"He called me a girl."

They stared at each other for a few.

As the minuets passed Kumara grew more frustrated.

"What?!" He finally yelled.

His mother blurted out laughing "A girl really!?"

Kumara puffed out his cheeks storming back up the stairs.

Beep Beep Beep

It smelled to clean here, white walls white beds, it was all white. Bland doctors and all to lively nurses fulled hallways. Heart monitors and quiet murmuring were the numbing sound to a blooming man.

In a white room with a single bed lay a woman with her flaming red hair making flames on white pillows. She had many IV's sticking into her arm and a breathing mask over her mouth and nose. She was cut up, tan skin covered in sickening bruises.

It was all his fault, if only he had taken his mother out earlier, if he hadn't gotten detention he wouldn't be sitting here and his mother wouldn't be in critical condition.

He sat in one corner of the white ass room, sitting out like a sore thumb. How long had he sat there? An hour maybe more. He closed his eyes biting on his lip to keep in the tears. He had to be strong, a strong man for his mother.

He sat there a bit longer before his father and the doctor came into the room. His dad as straight faced as ever called.

"Kumara, you best. You killer her."

Red eyes meet, young ones filled with the brim to tears and old ones filled with hatred.

"I didn't kill her! We were hit by a drunk driver!." Kumara yelled standing.

"Don't speak to me in that tone, Kyuubi." his father sneered. "I'll teach you a lesson you wont soon forget."

Kumara growled lightly, as his father motioned for him to follow. Hesitantly he moved, towards the bed.

"Kyuubi," His father warned

Kumara smiled lightly as he touched his mother's face leaning down and kissing her forehead speaking a soft good-bye to her.

His father grabbed his fore arm and brought the sophomore to him, Kumara smirked tugging his arm away walking out of the door and away from his cursing father.

"Kyuubi?" A soft voice called.

"Kumara?" The voice repeated, almost testing the words.

The room smelled to clean for the tan mans likings, slowly ruby eyes opened to the blinding lights. Through his clouded vision he saw bruised tanned skin, he heard a heart monitor and all he could see was white. With a yellow tinge to it.

"Kumara." The voice said defiantly.

A/N: Yay a new chapter, I'm excited that I have so many people interested in this (and yes nine is a lot to me) I love all you guys, so please please review and yeah. Also if you couldn't tell this was just a little more back ground on Kumara and not Kyuubi any more. And more or less we see why Kumara doesn't want to go into the Military. BUT that will get cleared up later.
