Chapter 4:
"Okay, I can't take this anymore." Clarke sighed heavily, her thighs instinctively rubbing together as her arousal heightened. Seriously, what does he have against cotton? He moved with such determined ease through the woods, his arms swaying by his side as David Miller talked quietly about something that peaked Bellamy's interest. She wanted his attention. She wanted his interest. She wanted those muscular arms wrapped around her body as he slammed—stop.
"You lose something over there, Clarkie?" Raven taunted her with a hard nudge in the direction of her side. Clarke started to gnaw on her lip, clearly embarrassed that she'd been caught. The rosy color highlighted her cheeks and she continued to follow the flow of the group. She liked being in the back of the crowd so she could monitor them. "I think you have the opportunity to bed him and you're wasting it."
"I always have the opportunity to bed him, Raven." Clarke replied smugly, "It's Bellamy Blake. C'mon."
"Alright, you have a fair point." Raven snorted, "Bellamy is very…"
"Horny? Promiscuous?" Clarke offered only to cause Raven to laugh even louder. Bellamy turned to see what had Raven Reyes in such a fit. Clarke arched an eyebrow at him, which he returned with his signature smile. She rolled her eyes and he chuckled, turning back to David Miller.
"And that's why you two need to sleep together."
"Because he looks at me?"
Raven shrugged, "Because he looks at you like that and you return it."
…
The sun was at its apex, streaming ultraviolet rays down on all of their skin. Abby, in passing, mentioned the possibility of sunburns. Clarke had been a victim to a sunburn before because of her fair skin. She wasn't about to spend her next few days physically uncomfortable and sexually deprived. She convinced her mother to take a break while everyone coated their skin with Monty's special mixture.
"Hey, you're going to burn." Clarke approached Bellamy slowly, her breathing completely uneasy. She couldn't handle herself around him—knowing how his tongue could move with hers. She wanted to feel his palms moving up her back and his lips against more sensitive skin. He glanced over his shoulder, putting a cap on the water. "So, I'm going to prevent you from burning up." His lips were slightly parted, his chest rising and falling before he nodded his head. She dipped her fingers into clear salve-like mixture with aloe, zinc and some type of oil that she couldn't remember the name of but it was meant to hydrate skin.
Bellamy hissed as she touched him with the cooling mixture. Why did that make her tingle? Her hand smoothed out over his shoulder blade. She started making circular motions into his skin, rubbing slightly harder than she needed to, to apply the sun block. "I think this is just an excuse to touch me…" His cocky attitude made her heart beat even faster. "…but I'm not complaining. I like it when you touch me, Clarke." His voice was becoming increasingly lower as he started humming with her impromptu massage.
"I thought you never wanted to talk about what happened." She said as she cleared her throat, trying to ignore his slight moaning every time she touched him. He was trying to get under her skin, figuratively and literally, but she couldn't cross that line. She. Could. Not. Cross. That. Line. Clarke became annoyed with his sounds because she'd rather him be making them under different circumstances and they were putting images in her mind that she couldn't force away, "Stop squirming."
"Stop giving me a reason to squirm." He chuckled lightly before she pressed her fingernail into his skin. He hissed once more but didn't drop his flirtatious attitude, "Maybe I can return the favor."
"I already had Raven do it..." Clarke said flatly, trying to hide how much he affected her. "But thanks for the offer."
He straightened his back as she moved down lower, her finger trailing down his spine. "I was talking about making you squirm." Her slightly seductive motions ceased as she contemplated his words. He wanted her. She wanted him. Maybe Raven and Octavia had a point...
"Do you really think that's appropriate?" Clarke asked, not meaning to sound so breathy. He was so captivating when he was trying to seduce her. "Given our history…"
"Especially given our history…" Bellamy turned his head over his shoulder to take in her reaction. "You want it, I can see it all over your face. Why not just give in?" Her thighs started to slowly rub against each other again and she averted her eyes so he couldn't see how aroused he was making her. Too late. She finished rubbing the salve into his skin and stepped backwards. He flipped around and smirked, "Don't forget my chest, Clarke."
She coated her hand once more and bit her lip. Her hand moved down his chest, no circular motions this time. Her eyes moved lower and lower down his skin in the process of trying to protect him from sunburn. He placed a hand over hers when she reached his abs. "Tonight, okay? Tonight we can get this out of our systems because I can't go on like this."
"Turned on by the mere sight of me?" He asked with a full grin plastered on his smug face. "Rubbing your legs together because you want me so fucking bad…" He stepped closer, "looking at me, thinking about how you want me to fu—"
"Yes." She cut him off before she took his stupid body and threw him against the nearest tree in front of everyone. Luckily, her mother was busy dealing with David Miller and missed the whole high-tense situation. "So bring your A-game tonight, Mr. Blake. I'll be thinking about you…"
"Want to give you something to remember me by?"
"Save it."
