A/N : Guys! Long time no see (in this story lol) I apologize for no updating for soooooo long. So I'm going to write more in this chapter. Finally recovered from a fever and I'm having exams this week. Am I too talkative btw? Anyways, enjoy and review!

"Jason," he said, looking into her amethyst eyes. "My name is Jason Todd."

She was shocked. She stood right there, not bothering to move as she was too shocked to do so. She wasn't expecting him to immediately tell her. She did not think he'd tell her anyway. She was confused. What did he tell her? Aren't they enemies? What having she been doing these days? First, she let him kissed her in a battle. Then, they made out in her room. She didn't even let her friends get into her room. And now, she was hanging out (or is it a date?) with him. What was she thinking? She's a hero and he's a thief. What happened if her leader knew? And wha-

"Are you listening?" he interrupted her thoughts, waving a hand in front of her face like checking if she was blind.

"Why would you tell me?" she asked seriously. She grabbed his wrist with her own small hand as to stop his waving.

"I figured I trusted you enough," he said seriously, "You're different. I can feel it. You seemed trustworthy and… kind"

"I don't do kind." She said emotionlessly.

"You don't know yourself enough."

"Don't seem like you know me a lot." She hissed and dropped his hand roughly.

"I'm willing to." He said sincerely.

She almost believed that. Almost.

"What do you want from me? What are you planning?" she asked in a dangerously low voice that would scare the crap out of everyone. Well, he is not everyone.

"Nothing at all… and a dinner perhaps?" he answered her question innocently.

"You knew very well what I mean."

"Why? Do I seem like I was getting close to you just so I can get something from you? Do I seem like I was doing all this in purpose?" he asked angrily.

She could sense his emotions, anger, mostly hurt and sorrow.

"I..." he didn't let her finish. He put his hands in the pockets of his hoodie and walked straight into the club beside the pavement. He had had enough. Why won't she believe him? Sure he was a thief, but that doesn't mean thief lies all the time. Without the suit he is Jason. Just another normal citizen. He had put all his guards down and why won't she? Was it really that hard to trust him?

Guess he was wrong, falling in love with a Titan wasn't as easy as he thought it would be. Who knew handsome young man who could easily get any girl's heart would fall for the quiet goth girl? He was one of the lucky guy though. Which guy could be lucky enough to see the pretty little face of Raven the half demon behind that damn hood? Citizens thought she was mysterious, that's because they didn't get the chance to see. They are too busy to care anyway. All they knew was that Starfire was pretty and they went drooling on her every time.

She wasn't like Starfire. And he knew it. That was one of the reason he fell for her. She was pretty. But she just wouldn't let others get a better look. She just had to be mysterious. He did't know why, but that's what he like. The wanting to get to know her, the wanting to get a better look at that pretty face. The more she hides, the more his curiosity drives him mad. He wanted to know everything about her, no matter good or bad. Life is like that, what you can't get, is what you want the most.

He knew he should have stopped himself from falling for her. But he just can't control himself. And now, he falls badly for the mysterious beauty.

He pushed the door open and started his way to the bar. Raven followed him and grabbed his arm. "X…" again, he didn't let her finish, he ignored her hand on his arm and continued his way to the bar.

He sat down and ordered a shot of whisky. Raven sat down next to him and faced him. "I'm sorry…" she said sincerely. She turned away from him and lowered her head. "I'm really sorry." She said again, more like a whisper this time. His face softened. "I'm just not used to have people treated me that way," she sighed, "When I first came to Earth, I was afraid to let others knew who I really am. What would they think? The daughter of the demon Trigon who could destroy the entire planet Earth. I kept hidden, living a peaceful lonely life with none other than my books. Until I met Robin, he did not care who I really am. He only sees the good in me. I wondered why he's so hopeful. And that's why he is my best friend. Beast Boy thinks I'm creepy. Whenever people saw me, they only look at me in fear. As if I'm going to kill them. But it's reasonable though, who wants to be friends with a demon? I'm just tired of trying. Whenever people befriend me, they wanted something or have a purpose." She said as tears started to roll down her pale face.

He listened to her carefully as she expressed her emotions in front of him for the first time in forever. He saw her tears rolled down her smooth pale cheeks, he wanted to wipe them away and kissed her and tell her it's alright so badly. But he knew if he did, maybe he would not get another chance to hear her said what's in her heart again. So he just kept looking at her with an understanding look.

"There was once a dragon called Malchior, he was trapped in a book by a curse. He cares for me… very much. That was the first time I ever let my guards down in front of people except the Titans. But turns out he tricked me into falling for him just so I can free him from that book." She said. She felt stupid for speaking all of those in front of him. Never in her life has she shown her weaker side to any people. Not even her friends. She used to be the fearless one in the team. Although he didn't reply her all that time, it feels… good to talk to him. It feels good to express what was bothering her all this time.

They remained silence. A few moments later, she decided to leave. "Sorry for wasting your time." She stood up and started her way to the exit. But she was stopped as he grabbed her arm and said, "No. Please stay." She thought for a second and sat down back at the stool.

"I'm sorry… I didn't know," he said in a caring voice, "Please, don't leave me again." He leaned forward and cupped her cheeks with both hands while his thumbs wiped away the tears on her cheeks. Thinking this might not be a good place to confess as the club was too noisy with people dancing and talking, he reached for the teleport button on his Red X belt and teleported both of them to the beach and sat down on the sand as the lighted-up Titans Tower stood peacefully in the middle of the sea in front of them. (forgot to mention, Red X wore civilian clothes but he kept wearing the belt)

The cold moonlight shone onto the sea, making the seawater sparkled in the moonlight. The stars shone brightly on the dark night sky. The summer night breeze filled the silence with excitement. Jason held Raven in his arms as she leaned her head on his muscular chest. She had stopped crying.

"Raven, I need you to know." He whispered in her ear, "Nobody can hurt you again. I'll be there for you, always. Please, don't leave me again. I need you." Raven cried again, this time, she was touched. She could sense his aura, only caring and love.

"Shh… It's okay, I'm here." he held her closer. "I love you, Raven. You might think I'm stupid, but can you give me a chance? To care for you, cherish you and… love you?"

"Who says I don't like stupid boys?" she smirked.

"Aw… now now my little rae rae, that hurts." He teased her.

"I love you, Jason Todd. Just the way you are." She raised her hand to touch his cheek.

"Give me a chance?" He asked lovingly.

She placed her lips on his. Jason was shocked at first, but then he deepened the kiss and they kissed passionately until they need to pull away because of the lack of oxygen.

"Did that answer you?"

"Very much," he said while caressing her smooth cheek with his hand, "I love you Raven Roth."

They just sat there, enjoying the moment. Both of them ignored the fact that they did not have dinner and were suffering from hunger. But neither of them wanted to move. They wanted it to last forever. That moment, they were just a boy and a girl in love, not a demon, not a hero, nor a thief.
